Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega -
Chapter 77: First shift
Chapter 77: First shift
"What do you intend to do to me? To all these Omegas here," I motioned towards the blindfolded Omegas.
"Not the same," he smiled at me. "You are not the same as them, Brys. Don’t categorize yourself as one of them," he touched my jaw. "I intend to make you mine. As for the other Omegas?" He grinned, showing off those perfectly aligned teeth I have come to detest. "I will just extract their wolves, and toss them back to the Academy."
"That’s cruel!"
He laughed, "that’s all I know, love." He touched me on my right cheek. "You are the only one I’m willing to leave because you are dear to me," he leaned closer.
"To hell, you beast!"
I turned my concentration on Sky, who had his hands clenched tightly, and his focus on the floor.
"Do you think he will help you?" Mr Kim laughed. "Don’t get your hopes up, my boy. He works for me and does my bidding. He won’t help you out because there is nothing to help out here," he chuckled, looking more and more like a clown.
I clenched my fists when he pecked my right cheek. With my eyes closed, I tried to deny what was happening.
"I’m marked," I gritted out with my eyes shut, refusing to look into his eyes.
"And I know how to remove your mark."
I shivered when I felt his tongue on me. I felt bile rise in my throat. The urge to vomit became alarmingly insistent.
Damn it, Fan.
Where the hell are you when I need your help? As for Storm, I don’t think he’s aware of my absence. He’s probably still drawing with the rest of the class.
"Let me go!" I tugged hard on the silver chain holding me to my chair. It tore into my skin, slicing through my flesh as a scream tore from my throat.
The Omegas around me shook with fear.
"Stop!" Mr Kim tried to stop me, but I was determined to rip off those chains binding me.
"Brys!"
The chains shattered under me. Blood gushed down the wounds on my flesh as I stood on wobbling legs.
Mr Kim took a step back, shocked to see me standing after ripping off those silver chains. I guess Fan’s benefits are working.
He leapt towards me, but before he could touch me, Sky caught him.
"What the hell are you doing?" He growled at Sky, who was partially changed —man and wolf. "Let me go!"
"Why will I do that?" Sky held him tight despite his trashing.
With a growl, Mr Kim sent him crashing into the wall as he leapt towards me. I shrieked, falling on the impact with Mr Kim lying above me. He forcefully turned my neck to the side and leaned in to bite me on the same spot Storm left his mark.
"Let me go!"
I made to kick him, but before I could, Sky, now a wolf, crashed into him, sending them rolling to my right.
I slowly rose from the ground and watched them. Surprisingly, the wounds I incurred have all closed up, leaving my skin as good as new. Looking at it, you won’t believe it was bleeding not too long ago.
The wolves fought, fangs extended as their howls increased.
"As much as I would have loved to continue watching this spectacular fight with you, Brys, you need to get out there. The wolves under him are rushing over because of the sound. Keep them at bay," Fan said behind me, startling me out of my bones.
"Fan!"
"The one and only," he winked at me. "Now, off you go," he mentioned to me towards the door, while he stood back, to watch the fight.
Without a moment of hesitation, I started untying the Omegas.
"We don’t have time for that, Brys. Go out there and —"
"They will help stall time, and you. What are you still doing? Go and find Storm. Lead him to me." I commanded, still untying the tired Omegas.
Fan didn’t immediately disappear. He circled Sky and Mr Kim once before he winked at me, and disappeared.
With the Omegas untied, I removed their gag and blindfold. Different colours of eyes tiredly stared at me. The bags under their eyes were so pronounced, I felt pity for them, and what they might have gone through all these months.
"Listen to me," I gently spoke, to get their entire attention on me. "You need to find a way out of here. Return to the Academy, and get help, okay?"
They stared at me like fools. None of them made a motion to rise from their chair. The expression on their faces broke my heart. They looked like people who have given up on life.
I pointed towards Sky and Mr Kim, who were still wrestling. It’s a miracle Sky hasn’t been killed, and I have no doubt Fan is responsible for that. He might have boasted Sky’s power.
"He’s trying to help you all, and so am I. You need to save yourself, so our efforts won’t be in vain. You are wolves! You can’t give up! Being an Omega doesn’t define you!" I stared at them, "do you wish for others to go through what you went through these past months? Are you willing to allow this to happen to others when you can help out?"
My words seemed to do something. As one, they rose from their chairs with a determined expression on their faces.
"Let’s go." I opened the door, just in time to see more than fifty wolves coming towards us.
"Stay behind me," I instructed the Omegas. "I will create an opportunity for you to run and seek help."
We are in some sort of cleared field that doesn’t look like any part of the school. It’s either we are deep in the forest or we are no longer on the school grounds.
"No!"
Though their voices sounded tired, they sounded determined.
"We won’t let you fight them. We can also help out!"
As one, they changed into their wolves.
All around me, red wolves stood, baring their teeth at the wolves, howling deep in challenge at the wolves charging towards us.
Suddenly, two things happened.
First: The door behind us broke as the fighters changed position, with Ray taking the lead. Second: I felt the change in me as intense pain racked through my body.
I howled in pain as I changed for the first time since I Transmigrated.
With a painful howl in the air, I charged towards the approaching wolves, with the Omegas behind me.
