I didn’t turn because I know they were still trying to make fun of us. The Alphas are always playing. However, they have never included us in their stupid plays.

Ray turned, "If you don’t know what to do with your time, I will advise you to shove your dick up your arse!" He yelled at them, pissed.

Everywhere became quiet after his words. You can hear a pin drop as the Alphas looked at him like he was somehow alien.

The truth is, no one has seen Ray angry. I’m the only one who has seen most of my roommates because... Well, we live together.

The Alphas rose from their seats and approached us. Five pairs of eyes narrowed to slits as they stalked towards us. They are all putting on the black shirt and back slacks we all wear on the first day of the month.

"Brys, should I go call the Alpha or Beta? You don’t have enough points, so I can’t help you from the store. But I can..." He trailed off before he disappeared, to seek help.

"Who was the Omega that spoke back? Do you think you can fly now that you have wings?" Their leader, Tap, narrowed his eyes at Ray, looking murderous.

Ray shivered. Despite how bold he sounded earlier, just like everyone in the class, he knows he can’t win a fight, not with five Alphas who are likely to release their pheromones on him.

It will be drastic should this happen. Not only will it incapacitate Ray, but it might also induce his heat, which in turn will be disastrous.

I rose from my chair, "he did nothing." I folded my arms and faced them, pissed that they were trying to use their ranks to tame us into submission.

We all know Alphas are stronger, and that seemed to increase their egos.

"Oh, the most pretty Omega finally spoke." One of them gave me a once-over. The lewd way he stared at me made it feel like insects were crawling on my arms.

"I’m not pretty!" I clenched my teeth. "If you want a fight, why don’t you pick on someone your size?"

I know should this turn into a fight without pheromones, I will be able to defeat three—five depending on their strength.

I slapped his hand off my cheek, "Don’t you dare touch me!" I narrowed my eyes at him, pissed that he dared to touch me with those pathetic hands of his.

No one gets to touch me without my permission, especially these stinky Alphas. Or could it be because I want a certain Alpha to touch...

What am I even thinking? I shook my head as I tried to get rid of those absurd thoughts. How can I be thinking of Storm, of all people?

"Feisty, are we?" He chuckled as he made to touch my cheeks once more. I got prepared to fight as Ray stood up behind me, ready to help.

Though we are Omegas, we won’t back down without a fight. The others watched us with glinting eyes. The promise of a fight was enough to make them cease their noises as they watched us.

The door to the classroom opened, and we all turned, expecting the teacher, principal or whoever the new teacher called. But I was surprised to see a pissed Storm.

His eyes racked through the class until they got to me before he focused on the Alpha standing next to me.

The state of his clothes made me raise a brow. He looked as if he ran miles to get here. His black hair looked tousled. It was as if he ran a hand through them.

Just like the stupid Alphas who think they can bully Omegas, most of his buttons are undone, showing off his chiselled stomach.

Against my better judgement, I kept on staring, momentarily forgetting who I was and where I stood.

"Get away from him!" His growl startled me. I had to blink to get my mind off those abs of his as I focused on the Alpha in front of me.

Storm slowly closed the distance between us with an angry stare at the other Alpha, who looked more amused than afraid.

He chuckled as he turned towards Storm. His blue eyes gleamed with mischief. "You are no longer the king, Storm. You stopped being one when you suddenly went soft." He turned towards me, "this pretty Omega is mine." He touched my cheeks.

It all happened in slo-mo — no, not slow-motion. It all happened in a fast motion. One minute I was trying to slap the Alpha, and the next, I saw him on the floor, cradling his jaw with a glare narrowed at Storm who was looming over him like an angel of death.

"Ceased to be the king?" Storm scoffed. True, I have read about him in the comic, and seen his pissed face whenever he fights others. However, since I came to this place, I haven’t seen him fight. "I will have you know that my fists are always ready to put you back in the line." He spat at the stupid Alpha before he turned to me. "Are you okay?"

"... Hmm," I nodded. "I’m —"

"Get him, boys!" The fallen Alpha yelled.

As one, the remaining Alphas approached Storm. They tried to swing their arms at the same time but ended up getting kicked back on their chairs.

A Yelp escaped from the other students watching us as Storm raced towards one of the fallen Alphas. He held him on the collar and made to punch him.

"What is happening here?" A booming voice called out from the door, prompting most heads to snap towards that direction — at an infuriated Alpha.
