Mason Nightshade didn’t quite catch what she said earlier, but he vaguely sensed it wasn’t anything good. He didn’t care and casually tossed the towel aside, lifted the corner of the blanket, and lay down on the bed.

Aurelia Shaw’s alarm bells rang instantly. She stared at him with icy vigilance, her brows tightly furrowed, as if questioning him: What are you doing here?

Her reaction was too intense, making it difficult for Mason to ignore even if he wanted to.

Raising his brow slightly, he looked at her with a faint, half-smiling gaze and said, "Mrs. Nightshade isn’t planning to live separately right after the wedding, is she?"

"Mason, this is the film set!"

Aurelia warned him sternly.

Indeed, at this moment, they were staying in the room arranged by the film crew. Titan Jennings was a very shrewd person; he knew that he was in trouble on seeing Mason’s reaction on the site. She loved this man with her entire life, her whole youth, even her happiness. She would never talk to him in this tone or with such expressions.

Although there wasn’t much to hide, if he realized something amiss, things could become quite troublesome down the line.

Her lips moved, and just as Aurelia was about to say something to recover, she heard the man’s clear and unhurried voice, carrying a tone of nonchalance, say evenly, "If it’s discovered, we’ll make it public. My woman, Mason Nightshade’s woman, has no need to hide or skulk around, avoiding public gaze."

Aurelia’s eyes widened slightly, not believing those words came from Mason Nightshade’s mouth.

She still remembered, on their wedding day, his cold gaze warning her, demanding she recognize her place. He said:
