Tokyo: Rabbit Officer and Her Evil Partner
Chapter 220 - 141: Judging Heresy

Chapter 220: Chapter 141: Judging Heresy

Otomachi Hayashi was the first to react; whether it was to become the Sect Hierarch or change the world, surviving came first—after all, they were merely mortal flesh and blood, capable of bleeding when wounded and dying when decapitated.

He hurriedly got up and grabbed Fushimi Roku’s arm, intending to flee with him.

Horie Kei followed closely behind. Having finally found a glimmer of hope to escape the dire situation, he clung to it desperately.

His mother, Shirakawa Miki, threw a tantrum on the ground, refusing to leave no matter what. Junko stood up, trying her best to persuade her, but to no avail.

Horie Kei, in a dramatic act of betrayal, grabbed a glass and smashed it against his mother’s occiput. Shirakawa Miki fell silent immediately. She was not knocked out, just dazed by the blow.

Seeing this, Fushimi Roku decided to stop lingering. With a casual wave, the white gauze was cut into two diagonally, his sword flicked back and forth, and the end of the gauze wrapped around the blade.

Regaining her senses, Shirakawa Miki discreetly tucked something into her chest while others were not paying attention.

Fushimi Roku pushed open the glass door, wiping the bloodstains as he moved. Noises echoed from the end of the hallway as the rest followed him, hearts racing, eager to flee but afraid to go alone.

Finally making it through the corridor and pushing open the door, Fushimi Roku descended step by step along the metal staircase. He sheathed his sword while overlooking the factory, where Believers hustled back and forth, shouting warnings and wielding riot shields and sticks.

Master Asano Yoshi stood at the factory entrance, continuously commanding the Believers to advance and encircle. The fleeing church officials re-dressed and brought over wooden crates, retrieving firearms in order—mostly handguns, only headquarters had rifles equipped.

The smell of gunpowder filled the air, making Otomachi Hayashi swallow his saliva, feeling the battle was imminent.

Asano Yoshi waved the Divine Staff, pointing at Fushimi Roku with anger, accusing him of being a blasphemer who had abandoned the Church. He urged the Believers to judge Fushimi Roku and promised anyone who acquired his bones or flesh would receive the True God’s favor and ascend to the otherworldly paradise!

The Believers erupted in fervent cheers, raising their shields and sticks high.

Three hundred people surrounded three, an absolute advantage in numbers. Otomachi Hayashi turned pale with fright, unable to imagine how he would die, yet when he glanced aside, Fushimi Roku wore an amused expression, seemingly unperturbed.

Indeed, he had nothing to fear. The living standards in the Aum Truth Sect were needless to say; grassroots Believers were nutritionally deficient, and a glance around revealed nothing but frail bean sprout-like figures. If he jumped down to kill, it would be like a video game slashing spree, akin to a mighty warrior of the Three Kingdoms crushing peasant militias.

Fushimi Roku contemplated a speech, planning to incite a rebellion among the grassroots Believers with his accumulated prestige; inspiring outcry held more meaning than mindlessly slashing.

Yet before he could speak, Shirakawa Miki suddenly screamed hysterically, "Mr. Fu Jian has truly obtained superpower! He killed a True God member! He is the deputy chosen by Shiva!"

Asano Yoshi couldn’t afford for this to spread; before other Believers reacted, he took aim at Shirakawa Miki and fired a shot.

Fushimi Roku, with no time to think, drew his sword and slashed, moving so fast it was as if frames skipped. Bullet fragments deflected, sparking on the metal walkway.

The Believers widened their eyes, suddenly falling silent.

Seeing this, Shirakawa Miki’s morale soared. She firmly believed Fushimi Roku was sent by Shiva to guide them, assured that Shiva’s protection meant she couldn’t be killed. Thus, she pulled the head of a True God member from her chest, cradling it before everyone and loudly proclaiming:

"They are the Church’s parasites! They’ve lost their way, indulged in material desires, and betrayed the will of God!! They’re the ones who should be judged!!"

Hearing this, the church officials loudly refuted, claiming Shirakawa Miki was spreading misleading lies, using a heretic’s deceitful rhetoric to confuse people’s minds...

Yet before he could finish, Zhao Chunshu, having had enough, grabbed a stick and delivered a heavy blow, seizing the official’s gun with a bandit-like swagger, shouting:

"Bastard! Everyone ask yourselves earnestly, who speaks better, Mr. Fu Jian or the Master? How has he treated us, and how has the Master? Well, I’m damn fed up with this crap! We eat pig feed once a day, yet they feast like kings—damn it! Why?"

With that, Zhao Chunshu stepped on the church official’s head, tiptoed over the crowd, and aimed the gun at Asano Yoshi, roaring, "If you want to prove she’s lying, use your superpower, brain-dead! Have the guts to not use a gun! Whoever uses a gun is a bastard!"

Asano Yoshi broke out in cold sweat, about to excuse himself, but Zhao Chunshu interrupted him: "I’ll count to three! Once I’m done, I’ll shoot! And those True God members, aren’t you usually pompous and dignified? Come on, I’m ready for you to magic me to death! Whoever uses a gun is a heretic!"

Asano Yoshi muttered to himself, what nonsense is this? You’re using a gun too, aren’t you? The other church officials were at a loss because they noticed Believers around them starting to stare. Those gazes felt like eerie ghost fires, unsettling them to their core.

"Three!" Zhao Chunshu bellowed.

The crowd stirred, church officials turned their guns, warning not to act rashly.

"Two!" Zhao Chunshu continued counting down.

Asano Yoshi began making excuses, saying his condition was bad today, and he didn’t have his artifact, Shiva was asleep, with a bit of hormonal imbalance...

"One!"

Zhao Chunshu unlocked the safety and was about to pull the trigger when Asano Yoshi shouted, pointing his staff at him, "Since you seek death, I’ll oblige!"

Zhao Chunshu was startled, checking himself, yet he found nothing wrong. Having fallen slightly into a brainwashing trance during this period, when he regained his senses, he was enraged, pushed through the crowd, and found that Asano Yoshi had fled!

The Believers visibly lost morale, raising sticks and confronting the church officials.

Fushimi Roku was about to control the scene when the church officials suddenly fired their guns.

It was like a crash of gongs before a grand drama, exploding in everyone’s hearts. The Believers, in fury, surged forward, brutally attacking the church officials. Sporadic gunfire rang out, followed by a series of screams...

The once lofty True God members were beaten to death, bludgeoned into meat patties, illustrating the brutal and bloody nature of religious judgment against heretics.

The Believers, still unsated, swarmed out of the North Factory, chasing after Asano Yoshi. It looked like zombies pursuing human survivors.

The latter ran while shooting, occasionally looking back, bringing down several unfortunate Believers quickly engulfed by the crowd.

Seeing they were about to reach the South Factory, Asano Yoshi desperately waved his hands, shouting for guarding Believers to help fend off the pursuers. Two guards exchanged glances, then shut the door.

"—No!!"

Asano Yoshi crashed into the door, pounding furiously, "Open the door, you bastards..."

Before he could finish, the pursuing Believers caught up. The fastest among them laughed wildly, unleashing long-suppressed anger by bashing Asano Yoshi’s occiput with a stick.

The once untouchable Master screamed incessantly under their blows, deriving twisted pleasure that bordered on madness. Someone shouted "Heavenly Punishment," and the crowd echoed, their voices merging into a chant.

"Heavenly Punishment! Heavenly Punishment!!"
