Chapter 327: Chapter 301: Reveling in It, Where to Place? Thoughts of a Nation’s Ruin
"Police Chief Aoyama, good morning."
"Mr. Aoyama, good morning."
Walking into the Police Headquarters office building, people continuously greeted Aoyama Xiu Xin on their own initiative.
Everybody loves Mr. Aoyama.
At least that’s how it appeared on the surface.
After all, when you’re climbing up, all you see when you look up are a bunch of backsides; when you finally make it to the top and look down, all you see are smiling faces.
"Good morning," Aoyama Xiu Xin responded with a smile, suddenly noting a figure ahead of him scurrying along with a quail-like hunched neck. He called out, "Asakura Police Chief."
Ha, this woman thought she could avoid being noticed with her timid shrinking away, but her hourglass figure – wasp waist and peach hips – gave her away.
Old lecher’s skill activated––identify people by their butts.
Everyone’s got this skill, right? Right?
"I can’t see you, I can’t see you," Asakura Yurong chanted to herself as she heard her name and froze. She closed her eyes, then, with her head down, she sped up and entered the elevator, heaving a sigh of relief as the elevator doors slowly closed.
After all, previously being caught by her superior slacking off in the office made it hard for her to face him.
But the next moment, a hand appeared in the narrowing gap of the closing elevator doors, and the slowly shutting doors slid open again, revealing the tall and imposing figure of Aoyama Xiu Xin.
He blocked out all the light, casting only a shadow that enveloped her.
The overwhelming sense of oppression made Asakura Yurong’s breath stall for a moment, her face slightly pale.
"Police Chief Asakura, why didn’t you answer when I called you?"
Aoyama Xiu Xin asked gently with a slight smile.
"Did... did you call me? Maybe I didn’t hear," said Asakura Yurong, utterly embarrassed, looking down at the tips of her shoes... oh, she couldn’t see her shoe tips. What she saw were mountains, mountain after mountain, pressing down on her––
Aoyama Xiu Xin stepped into the elevator and asked the people outside waiting, "Are you coming up?"
Upon hearing this, Asakura Yurong looked mildly surprised.
She had thought Aoyama Xiu Xin would deliberately stay alone with her in the elevator, but he didn’t seem to have any such intention at all. This only made her feel more like she was distrusting by suspecting him; she rubbed her knuckles in shame.
"Hey! Thanks, Police Chief Aoyama."
"That was close; I almost missed this one."
"Mr. Aoyama’s really quick and alert! Young people have it good, he just jumped right up."
The people outside thanked him while hastening into the elevator, and Aoyama Xiu Xin courteously stepped back to make room for them. Soon, the elevator was as packed as a train, shoulder to shoulder, no room to breathe.
Asakura Yurong, blushing and flustered, felt Aoyama Xiu Xin’s body pressing against her from behind. She fumbled with her toes inside her high heels. Was this the effect Police Chief Aoyama wanted? He was such a big, bad man!
The elevator ascended slowly because people were getting on and off at every floor. Asakura Yurong’s mind was foggy with her emotions, wishing for the elevator to hurry up while also hoping it would slow down so she could continue to enjoy the feeling.
Logic told her she needed to know shame.
Desire told her the more shame, the more thrilling.
And thus, she experienced a torturous struggle between life and death.
Finally, when there were few people left in the elevator and there was more space to move, Aoyama Xiu Xin tactfully withdrew.
Otherwise, wouldn’t it be social death if someone saw him?
Asakura Yurong breathed a sigh of relief but also felt a bit disappointed because it was so close, just that little bit!
Police Chief Aoyama definitely did it on purpose.
Before getting out of the elevator, she cast a resentful and embarrassed glance at Aoyama Xiu Xin before quickly leaving with her head down.
Aoyama Xiu Xin didn’t follow her. Getting a woman was simple for him. Finding fun was harder; toying around like this was quite entertaining.
"Ding~"
He had reached his floor. Dressed impeccably, Mr. Aoyama stepped out of the elevator with his head held high.
Who would have thought that this dignified man had just been flirting with a female subordinate in the elevator?
A suave degenerate, that’s what he was.
Entering his office, he first took off his coat, then brewed some tea, and sat down comfortably in his chair.
"Knock knock knock!"
Someone knocked at the door, obviously waiting to see him, hence they came knocking as soon as he arrived.
"Come in," Aoyama Xiu Xin said indifferently.
Yoshikai Yoshitsune came in carrying a pile of documents, "Chief, the information you asked me to look up."
"Put it there," Aoyama Xiu Xin said.
Yoshikai Yoshitsune approached and placed it on the office table.
Aoyama Xiu Xin put down his tea cup and flipped through it.
This was the complete file on the members of Nakamura Tatsuyuki’s secret investigative team – seven men and three women, ten in total, including himself. Internal files were always easy to check, just pull out the dossier.
Unless it was something with a particularly high level of confidentiality.
The nine people Nakamura Tatsuyuki chose weren’t all from the local prosecution; there were some from the local district as well, all young recruits not long in the job, not yet beaten by the harsh realities, uncorrupted by power and greed, with ideals and justice in their hearts, untangled from deep connections with various powers.
Choosing such a gang of clueless young bloods, you could see Nakamura Tatsuyuki was desperate, revealing the deep-seated corruption within the prosecution service, rendering him unable to use once sensitive issues were touched upon.
"Good, let it all be corrupt."
Aoyama Xiu Xin murmured to himself.
He wished that all officials in Japan were like him, greedy and lascivious, putting personal interests first; then everyone could negotiate, instead of battling to the death, right?
A patriot like Nakamura Tatsuyuki couldn’t be tolerated! Japan didn’t deserve someone like him!
