Chapter 200: Chapter 194: Suspicious Aspects of the Kidnapping Case, The Judge Requests a Favor
"Brother Xiu Xin, good morning."
In the morning, as Aoyama Xiu Xin came downstairs, Youji Neitian, who heard his footsteps from the sofa, turned around with a smile and said,
"Morning, not too busy lately?" Aoyama Xiu Xin had gotten used to Youji Neitian frequently visiting his house.
Youji Neitian poured a glass of water for Aoyama Xiu Xin and handed it to him, "Busy; I haven’t been able to work at the flower shop for a while. I was filming out of town the last few days, and just got back last night. I found some time to come see you and Sister Qingzi."
Thanks to Aoyama Xiu Xin’s help, she had gotten quite a few opportunities to shine in the entertainment industry earlier than expected by the end of this year.
"I bet you came just to freeload a meal, right?" Aoyama Xiu Xin took the water glass and sat down on the sofa.
"Not at all." Youji Neitian scoffed and glanced at him disapprovingly, then straddled him, wrapped her arms around his neck, and said, "I brought you a gift."
She was wearing just a thin pink spaghetti strap dress, through which Aoyama Xiu Xin could clearly feel the softness of her body. Her skirt revealed patterned white over-the-knee socks and generously exposed thighs.
"What gift?" Aoyama Xiu Xin asked, with one arm around her slender waist, gently caressing it.
Youji Neitian wiggled on his lap deliberately, freed one hand, and picked up a gift box nearby, saying, "A belt, let me put it on for you."
Without waiting for Aoyama Xiu Xin to respond, her soft body slid down against him to kneel on the carpet. She took out a sleek men’s belt from the gift bag and deftly began unfastening the belt around Aoyama Xiu Xin’s waist.
Aoyama Haruko, carrying breakfast from the kitchen, was startled by the scene, initially thinking Youji Neitian was biting Aoyama Xiu Xin. Only after realizing it was a belt change did she breathe a sigh of relief.
Her cheeks flushed, she turned back into the kitchen, and gently patted her chest. What on earth was she thinking about? There’s no way Xiu Xin and Youji would behave inappropriately, right?
"Alright, Brother Xiu Xin, do you like it?"
After changing the belt, Youji Neitian knelt on the carpet, looked up at him with a hopeful face, and asked.
"It’s alright." Aoyama Xiu Xin thought that Youji Neitian was going to bite him and was somewhat disappointed to find out it was just a belt change.
Youji Neitian gave a mischievous smile, leaned onto his chest, and breathed softly, "Are you disappointed?"
"Disappointed about what?" Aoyama Xiu Xin feigned ignorance.
Youji Neitian teased with a smile, "What do you think, Brother Xiu Xin, hehe."
"Alright, it’s time for breakfast," Aoyama Haruko’s gentle voice interrupted their escalating flirtation.
Youji Neitian shrugged regretfully, released her hand, "I wanted to help you, maybe next time."
Then she bounced off happily towards the dining room.
"Wow, Sister Qingzi, what a lavish breakfast!"
Aoyama Xiu Xin gave her a sharp look and used his jacket to cover his overly evident embarrassment as he walked to the dining table.
During the meal, Youji Neitian’s white over-the-knee sock covered feet kept teasing Aoyama Xiu Xin through his trousers, and she occasionally flirtatiously winked at him, the picture of innocent mischief.
After going to Police Headquarters, he headed straight to Asai Ayumi’s office, pushed open the door, and locked it behind him.
"What are you doing?" Asai Ayumi, dressed in a black uniform behind the desk, was puzzled by his actions.
Aoyama Xiu Xin countered, "Please, other than you, what else could I be here for?"
"Who knows, maybe you’re about to break even a vase," Asai Ayumi teased.
Aoyama Xiu Xin nodded, "Right, you are just a vase in my eyes."
He remembered a movie he’d seen in a previous life where the protagonist smashed a vase in a study room.
"How dare you! You are the vase," Asai Ayumi retorted, annoyed by people saying she was just a pretty vase and totally dependent on her father.
She sat back down, crossed her legs with her high heels gently swinging at the tips of her stocking wrapped feet, not falling off, and hummed with a smirk, "I wanted to help you, but your remark just now annoyed me, so handle it yourself until I’m in a better mood."
"Fine, I won’t trouble you then, I’ll find someone else," Aoyama Xiu Xin said and turned to leave.
"Idiot! Get back here! Take off your pants!"
Half an hour later, Aoyama Xiu Xin walked out of Asai Ayumi’s office calm and composed.
Back in his own office, he had been quite satisfied with this new spacious office a few days ago but began feeling discontent again, especially missing a female secretary.
If he had a female secretary,
he could satisfy his needs anytime and anywhere.
Given his robust physique, his desires were quite strong; not having it even for a day felt like an eternity. He could skip meals, but not this.
"Knock, knock, knock!" Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," said Aoyama Xiu Xin.
"Police Chief." Shinichi Nakamura entered, holding a thick file, "Here’s some information on Takeda Fuji, take a look, and if anything needs further investigation, I’ll check."
"Okay," Aoyama Xiu Xin took the file folder.
And Shinichi Nakamura quietly stood by, waiting.
Takeda Fuji had directly or indirectly caused numerous bloodbaths in its development process due to violent debt collection that led to the ruin of many families, but because they always had the ability to smooth things over with the media and the police, the scandals surrounding Takeda Fuji didn’t have much impact.
After all, the victims they exploited were just ordinary citizens who lacked the power to resist.
But now things were different, the storm had arrived!
"Shinichi, go and compile a detailed list of families who have been driven to ruin and despair by Takeda Fuji’s violent loan sharking practices, and also find someone who has recently been unable to repay Takeda Fuji’s debt collections," Aoyama Xiu Xin put down his file and said.
Takai Baoyu was a fearless and ignorant thug.
He was willing to do anything, he wouldn’t wait for the enemy to threaten him with a knife at his throat before fighting back.
Strike first, that was his motto, as soon as he suspected someone wanted him dead, he’d kill them first.
Nakamura Shinichi immediately responded, "Yes!"
"Oh, and prepare for the upcoming police inspector exam," Aoyama Xiu Xin suddenly added another sentence.
Nakamura Shinichi was thrilled, "Thank you for the promotion, Police Headquarters. I will never forget your kindness!"
Aoyama Xiu Xin smiled and waved his hand, while Mr. Aoyama still forced the Japanese people to pay off his high-interest loans.
After bowing deeply, Nakamura Shinichi turned and left, and just as he opened the door, he was about to knock when he bumped into Chief Sanmu Ichiro at the door, "Chief Sanmu!"
Chief Sanmu Ichiro casually nodded and stepped aside, bypassing Nakamura Shinichi and entering the office, his face grave as he said, "Police Chief, the son of Heize Member was found dead last night, strangled by the bandits."
"Where was he found?" asked Aoyama Xiu Xin.
"In a wasteland on the border of Kanagawa Prefecture and Tokyo, buried by the bandits. A grave robber accidentally dug him up," Chief Sanmu Ichiro explained.
"Not only did they dig up the son of Heize Member, but also an unidentified male body that seems to have been dead for a while. The Kanagawa Prefecture coroner said there was soil in the man’s throat, indicating he was still breathing when buried; no injuries on the body, likely buried alive. The murderer is truly heinous."
Aoyama Xiu Xin’s eyes flickered; he guessed that the unidentified male body was probably Harayama Heiji, Heize Xin’s secretary whom he had buried alive. It was unexpected that they dug him up just like that.
Plant one person, and dig up two.
From this, it was clear that anything could be planted.
"Being buried alive is indeed cruel; we must thoroughly investigate," Aoyama Xiu Xin said seriously.
He was not at all panicked, because no matter how much they investigated, they wouldn’t trace it back to him, and as long as Harayama Heiji’s identity was clear, nobody would delve any deeper.
After all, what if they dug up something they shouldn’t have?
Chief Sanmu Ichiro nodded, "I’ve handed the case over to the police in Kanagawa Prefecture. Additionally, according to what Heize Member’s secretary Sasagaki said, we checked the surveillance along the route on the day he delivered the money and found suspicious activity; he seemed very familiar with that spot."
"Oh?" Aoyama Xiu Xin raised his eyebrow.
Chief Sanmu Ichiro further explained, "The spot chosen by the criminals was quite remote, but Sasagaki didn’t stop at all along the way in the footage. There are no cameras exactly where the money was dropped, but judging by his departure and return times, he didn’t delay there either, which went too smoothly, almost as if the criminals deliberately picked a place he was familiar with for him to deliver the money."
Aoyama Xiu Xin’s expression grew more serious.
"And moreover, since the criminals had already received the money and Heize Member didn’t report to the police, why did they still need to complicate things by murdering him? Could it be that Mr. Heize recognized one of the criminals, forcing them to kill him?" Chief Sanmu Ichiro boldly speculated.
Aoyama Xiu Xin lifted his head, "You suspect that Sasagaki was also part of the criminals, working from both inside and outside to plan this kidnapping, but had to kill because he was accidentally recognized by Mr. Heize?"
He summarized the other’s thoughts.
"Yes!" Chief Sanmu Ichiro nodded, his expression grave as he continued to analyze, "In order for the criminals to successfully kidnap Mr. Heize without alerting anyone, they would need detailed knowledge of him, and Sasagaki, as Heize Member’s driver, would be perfectly positioned to provide that information."
"Of course, it’s just a guess. I’ve already sent people to investigate Sasagaki, and we should know soon if there’s anything wrong with him. I’ll report back to you."
............
After work, Aoyama Xiu Xin accepted an invitation from Hashimoto Miho to attend a dinner at a restaurant in Ginza.
When he entered the private room, three people were sitting inside.
Hashimoto Miho, dressed in business attire, a middle-aged man in a silver-gray suit, and a young man in his twenties wearing a white shirt.
Seeing him enter, Hashimoto Miho and the middle-aged man both stood up to greet him, while the young man remained seated, idly playing with a spoon and sizing up Aoyama Xiu Xin.
"Mr. Aoyama, this is my colleague, Judge Yamamoto Eiko from the Tokyo District Court," Hashimoto Miho said with a bright smile, pointing to the middle-aged man in the silver-gray suit.
Aoyama Xiu Xin extended his hand, "Judge Yamamoto."
"Police Chief Aoyama, I’ve long admired you," Yamamoto Eiko said warmly, shaking Aoyama Xiu Xin’s hand enthusiastically before turning to introduce his son, only to see that he was still seated, instantly darkening his face as he scolded, "Idiot! Stand up and greet Police Chief Aoyama. Have you no manners?"
"Police Chief Aoyama, I’ve heard so much about you," the young man tossed aside his spoon and lazily got up, sniffling casually.
Yamamoto Eiko’s face twitched, and looking somewhat embarrassed, he said to Aoyama Xiu Xin, "This is my son, Yamamoto Hiko, spoiled by his mother. Please bear with us, Police Chief, and don’t mind his behaviors."
"Young folk, they’re all like this," Aoyama Xiu Xin replied nonchalantly with a slight smile, sitting down next to Hashimoto Miho and casually placing his hand on her thigh.
Hashimoto Miho tactfully spread her legs apart.
To facilitate his groping.
Yamamoto Hiko sneered, sat down, and yawned disdainfully, "You’re only a few years older than me, stop acting so senior. Really!"
"Damn it! Shut up!" Yamamoto Eiko’s forehead veins bulged as he took a deep breath after sitting down and turned to Aoyama Xiu Xin with a melancholic expression, "Police Chief Aoyama, to be honest, the reason I’ve asked Judge Hashimoto to help arrange this meeting is because my son has caused some trouble, and I’m hoping you can help us out."
