Gaiyin and his group had stayed here for many days, every day Xi’en would accompany them, taking them around the flatland to play.

Though Sheng Ya disagreed with this, as the tribal chief of the West Ming Deer Clan and she was older than any of Gaiyin’s crew by at least a generation, she couldn’t bring herself to dismiss them.

In the initial two days, she suspected that Gaiyin and the others had some hidden agenda for coming here, so she ordered some people to surveil them, only to figure out that she was overthinking.

They were only interested in playing around every day, never doing anything out of line, so Sheng Ya called off their surveillance and no longer paid them any attention.

Gaiyin slowly opened his eyes and nodded at Xi’en, "indeed, nobody is following us anymore."

Xi’en heaved a sigh of relief, "that’s good. Amu is inherently suspicious, she always wants to keep everything under control. That’s why she had people watching you guys. I hope you don’t hold it against her."
