The rain had been drizzling on and off for nearly half a month, and when the sky finally cleared, it was as blue as if it had been washed by water.

As clear and jade-like as the sky was, it remained untainted by the wisps of clouds hugging the distant mountains.

The sun hung high in the sky, accompanied by a few thin, white clouds. As a gentle breeze blew by, the clouds moved with the wind, refreshing the hearts of all who beheld them.

Su Tang, having stayed indoors all day, felt as if she were about to grow fur herself. Thankfully, the skies finally cleared, affording her the chance to get some fresh air.

Yet, she barely set a foot outside before stepping into a muddy pit.

Seeing the state of affairs outside, Su Tang quickly lost her desire to go out.

Her shoes had worn out after she arrived in the valley. During the rainy days, she and the women of the tribe worked together using dried devilvine to craft straw sandals.

They added beast skin to the straw sandals so that they could also be worn in the winter, although the waterproofing was probably not as good.

This was already a great improvement for the women of the Tribe, who never knew what shoes were before. Once they started wearing the grass sandals, they realized their benefits.

Compared to the females of the Beast World, Su Tang’s skin was much more delicate. Wearing only beast skin shoes would cause her feet to chafe, so she redeemed a pair of thin socks from the System.

"Weren’t you clamoring to go out just now? Why aren’t you going?" Gaiyin asked, somewhat surprised.

After taking off her shoes, Su Tang hopped on one foot to the window, extending her footwear outside and shaking them vigorously.

"The entire area outside is full of muddy pits, I won’t be able to move properly. I’ll wait a while longer."

As she spoke, she looked worriedly at Gaiyin and Erha, who had already jumped into the mud pits and were covered in filth.

She quickly instructed Gaiyin, "If those two come back, throw them into the water pit to clean up. If not, don’t let them in."

Gaiyin chuckled and nodded in agreement, "Alright!"

Su Tang: "Where are you going?"

Gaiyin responded, "The heavy rain just stopped. I am going to check if there are any dangerous wild beasts near the valley. Also, I want to block up the small cave that we passed through when we came here. If nothing else comes up, I plan to set off for Tiger Valley tomorrow. I might even make it back before winter."

Su Tang’s heart clenched at the news,"This...this is too soon. It’s not acceptable! It’s too dangerous, and what if you can’t make it back on time? Let’s wait until next warm season..."

Gaiyin rubbed Su Tang’s head, "Don’t worry so much, I will go out and see first. Maybe there are many things in the tribe that need my help?"

Su Tang nodded hurriedly, "Yes, yes! We haven’t even made the heating pipes for the house, you can’t go anywhere!"

Laughing softly, Gaiyin responded, "Okay, understood. I won’t go for now."
