Chapter 314: Chapter 315: The Tyrant Flower is a Little Beastman
Su Tang was feeling a bit sleepy. She thought there would be some important matter since Xiongda and Xionger wouldn’t run here in the middle of the night for no reason.
But when she heard the cries of the cub, she woke up instantly. It was pitch dark all around; she couldn’t see anything.
So, she grabbed Ayin’s arm and asked, "Ayin, did you hear that? Is there a cub crying somewhere?"
Ayin gloomily stared at the cub in Xiongda’s hand.
As far as he knew, only two female Weasels and a few female Stone-Beastmen were pregnant in the tribe, and it was not the time for them to give birth yet, so where did this cub come from?
Before Ayin could answer, the cub in Xiongda’s hand cried out again.
Su Tang had completely woken up by now. She fumbled to find a flashlight from her Space, turned it on and, after letting her eyes adjust to the light, noticed the chubby, white, and cute red-bellied cub in Xiongda’s arms.
Other than the red hair atop its head, its delicate features looked like a painted doll from New Year’s paintings back on Blue Star. It was tremendously cute!
She handed the flashlight to Ayin, "You hold this for now..."
With a silly grin plastered on her face, she walked towards Xiongda, took the cub from his arms, and held it adoringly.
"What a cute little cub! So sweet! Where did you guys find him?"
Xiongda and Xionger exchanged a glance. They eagerly explained how they found the cub when they went to urinate out in the valley, leaving no detail out.
Su Tang looked surprised, "You mean, this cub was just lying on the grassland outside the valley? And there was no one around?"
Xionger emphasised, "Yes, but there was a scary, gigantic red flower swaying next to the cub. Bear almost died of fright when he tried to pick up the cub!"
Xiongda said irritably, "Shut up, dare you brag about it? Who was the one who picked up the cub?"
Xionger cowered, "I...I was just scared..."
Xiongda rolled his eyes.
While the two bears argued, they completely missed the brief exchange of glances between Ayin and Su Tang.
Su Tang: A swaying red flower? Could it be what I think it is?
Ayin: Hmm, he only saw one flower.
Su Tang: So the cub in my arms is actually...
Ayin: Hmm, most likely.
Su Tang was overjoyed. She looked at the cub in her hand—it seemed even cuter no matter how much she looked!
Ayin gently coughed, "I got what you’ve told me. Everyone should return and rest. Leave this matter for me to handle!"
Xionger breathed a sigh of relief. Before leaving, he added, "Tribal Chief, make sure to move that big red flower elsewhere. It’s bloody creepy!"
"Hmm, I know."
After Xiongda and Xionger left, Su Tang found herself wide awake.
She looked at the Tyrant Flower Cub with expressive eyes, finding it extremely novel.
Suddenly, Su Tang noticed something different. She turned to Ayin and said, "Ayin, I didn’t expect that plants also had genders. Look, it’s a beastman cub."
Ayin’s face darkened. He picked up a piece of Beast Skin and quickly wrapped the Tyrant Flower Cub into a Zongzi.
His intention was that aside from his own younger brother, she mustn’t look at any other Beastmen.
However, after doing this, he found Su Tang looking at him with admiration.
"Ayin, you’re clever! I didn’t even think that the cub would feel cold. You’re impressive!"
Ayin: "..."
Of course, he wouldn’t explain that it was all a misunderstanding. Since it’s a misunderstanding, let it continue as such.
