Chapter 109: Chapter 101 I’m Invincible in My Dreams (Please Follow)
The Truth Remnants and three Gods hid within a temporarily constructed dream realm, encircling a massive crystal.
At the crystal’s center was a young girl cuddling a teddy bear, deep in slumber.
Lilith recognized her instantly: "That’s the owner of the dream that just trapped you."
"A girl?"
Lette recalled the imposing golden armor on the City Lord’s throne, which seemed incongruent with this little girl before him.
But who can ever be certain about matters within a dream?
"Didn’t expect you to escape?"
The Legendary Great Mage of the Tower of Truth looked at Lette, gritting his teeth: "Hmph, not fleeing in disgrace was your biggest mistake!
Attack him!"
At the command of the Legendary Mage, seven out of the nine Holy Ranks stepped forward, unleashing powerful spiritual power, manifesting terrifying beasts and disasters, charging at Lette and his companions.
Whoosh!
A bright red scarf unfurled from Emily, shielding all three of them within.
Seeing this, Lilith was very pleased with her teaching results.
"That’s right, Emily. Use your fondest memories to protect yourself, and your most terrifying imaginations to attack others!
Spiritual power is the currency in the dream realm, and you’re naturally rich!
But be careful, excess clarity may shatter a fragile dream. Too much indulgence leads to inescapable immersion."
"Got it!"
Lilith took a deep breath, raising her arms high.
Black Nightmare horses carrying fully armed Dark Knights surged out, forming an invincible legion under Lilith’s guidance, charging at the enemy.
The scene immediately turned into chaos, while Lette stood motionless there, without making any move.
"Is he injured while freeing himself from the dream’s shackles, unable to attack?"
"Impossible. Why provoke if that were the case?"
"Never mind, I’ll give it a try first!"
Unable to resist the temptation, a Holy Rank Mage flashed to Lette’s side, morphing a giant wolf’s head to bite him.
Yet, the wolf’s head passed straight through him, like an illusion.
The Holy Rank Mage was incredulous, noticing only now that there was a small cat on Lette’s shoulder at some point.
But the next moment, the cat disappeared.
"In dreams, it’s natural to imagine things that don’t exist. Your imaginations are too limited,"
Lette raised his hand as a slender, enchanting figure emerged behind him.
The very next moment, the Holy level Expert before him was sliced in two. One half turned into blazing light and vanished, while the other was obliterated.
In just one move, Lette eliminated a Holy Rank.
All who saw this, whether human or God, turned pale. They simply couldn’t comprehend what had just occurred.
Even in a dream realm, everything was too outrageous!
Compared to this, they’d rather face Lilith’s fearsome Nightmare Knights!
Meanwhile, Emily showcased her formidable Mage talents.
She astonishingly achieved the Overclocked State taught by Lette within the dream realm, and it was All Elements Overclocking.
Subsequently, she imagined one Elemental Lord after another, constantly performing Super Body Fusion with them.
Every strike was immensely powerful! Coupled with her innate strong spiritual power, she was virtually invincible.
In an instant, she had already claimed the lives of three Holy Ranks.
This dream novice unexpectedly achieved the best results in the battle.
The Legendary Strongman finally couldn’t stay idle as Lette’s side engaged in a massacre.
"Partners, since we’re allies, you can’t just watch and remain still, can you?"
"We promised to help pull people into the dream realm, nothing more."
"Ha! Still want to stay aloof now? Do I need to tell you how vengeful he is? If you don’t act, he’ll come for you soon enough!"
The three Divine looked at each other. Finally, Primordial Fire let out a roar and charged at Lette.
The remaining two Gods also turned to attack Emily and Lilith.
Be it in life form or spiritual power intensity, Gods are far stronger than ordinary beings.
Even considering the fragile nature of dreams, they held a significant advantage.
But unfortunately, their opponents were not simple.
Emily, seeing the mighty God challenging her, became exhilarated.
She chose to perform Super Body Fusion with the Wind Element Lord, rushing with a gale toward the unknown God.
"Fertility!"
Along with the God’s murmur, endless disease and vermin began breeding and spreading within Emily.
The immense pain nearly made Emily lose consciousness instantly.
Luckily, the warm red scarf enveloped her tightly, dispelling the ominous and disease. Though only halfway, this protective love was enough to contend with a God!
"Hmm? What’s this broken thing?"
"It’s you! Broken thing!"
Emily roared, and the awaiting Elemental Lords around her instantly granularized, flying into her body like homing birds.
Despite accommodating so many different Elements, Emily’s body didn’t collapse; instead, she evolved beyond Super Body and overload, advancing into another form.
From a distance, Lette dodged Primordial Fire’s attacks while observing Emily.
"Exactly, this is the Sixth Realm theorized, only you can reach it.
Elemental Fusion Form!
Seize this dream journey to fully experience this wondrous power.
Perhaps it can aid you in reaching this realm in the real world!"
Primordial Fire furiously raised his palm, surrounding Lette with endless blazing flames: "Worry about yourself first!"
"As a God, your imagination is lacking."
Lette teased the kitten on his shoulder, showing no signs of being attacked even amidst the fire.
The eerie figure reappeared behind him, and with just a gentle wave, the semblance of an all-consuming fire separated into two halves.
One half inexplicably extinguished, while the other burned even fiercer, nearly escaping Primordial Fire’s control.
"Is being a God so remarkable?"
Lette reached out, and a reed appeared in his hand. As he waved it, all the flames disappeared.
"Man is a thinking reed. Great and small, man is great because he knows both his smallness and greatness.
I think, therefore I am."
When Primordial Fire saw the reed, an unprecedented fear surged within him.
Although a God, he was astonished to realize he couldn’t grasp the significance this reed represented.
Yet he clearly knew that this reed could kill him in the dream realm!
Remember, what happens in a dream does connect to reality yet differs.
Some things, while absurd, can’t happen in reality but might easily occur in dreams!
Primordial Fire turned to flee, but found himself slowing rapidly. At some point, a slow-moving turtle appeared in front of him.
Damn! Is that also one of that man’s imagined killer moves?
Damn it, why is this turtle so slow! Why can’t I even catch up with it!
Primordial Fire fled frantically, yet appeared exceedingly slow to others.
Lette easily stood before Primordial Fire, staring at his terrified face.
"You could have been a good God, but you chose a path away from your believers.
I can’t destroy you completely, but I’ll take the part of you in this dream realm.
After all, the Flame Magic Ring is still incomplete."
As the reed gently fell, Primordial Fire let out a regretful wail. Under everyone’s bewildered gaze, he turned into a handful of starfire.
Lette opened his palm, and the scattered starfire gathered, coalescing into a small Flame Magic Ring.
"A God! A God was killed in a instant!"
The Legendary Mage felt a breathlessness, a mere mortal using a reed to vanquish a God.
Strange, why am I dreaming such a dream!
The most terrifying thing for the Legendary Mage was that from start to finish, no one could comprehend what had happened!
The two women around Lette were also powerful, whether it was Lilith’s Nightmare army or Emily’s Elemental Fusion.
At least, they were things people could understand!
Even dreams should relate to reality!
But Lette’s methods were absolute figments!
He hadn’t even utilized any light imagery! Yet he possessed the power to kill a God instantly!
It was hard to fathom the terrifying things in his mind!
"What made you believe you could defeat me in the Gap of Dreams."
Lette stood quietly there; among the dream realm’s others, his ordinariness made him seem out of place.
"Ha, I’m super brave in dreams! Do you know how many weird ideas I can’t realize in reality?
Don’t you see me often in the Gap of Dreams?
Sorry, I got bored four years ago and just quit.
The nightmare challenges set by Dream Weavers, most of the fastest clear records, are probably mine."
Lette looked at the battle nearby: "Lilith, Emily. Deal with those two, leave the rest to me.
We have a major ceremony to attend tomorrow morning!"
"Got it, got it, don’t rush us!"
Lilith summoned a Spell again, and a nightmare dragon with three heads emerged, lunging at the opposing God.
Emily enhanced her Elemental Fusion to the extreme, attacking the God of Pestilence once more.
"Let me show you my favorite killer move in dreams."
Lette raised a hand as a Bright Sun slowly rose, emitting endless light.
"I am the sun!"
