In a certain room in the Adriha Clan’s territory.

A red-haired bearer dressed in beige flowy clothes moved fluidly over a lying young bearer. He carefully checked the pulse, then the heaving chest and after that, he calmly straightened his body.

"So how was it? Will the moon elf lord wake up any time soon?" A buff and handsome blond moon elf asked the bearer. His tone sounded a bit too intimate for a friend or a stranger. It is the way most males talk to their mates. Especially the most affectionate ones. But despite the flirting tone of Legland’s voice, the concern for the unconscious patient is evident.

The weak-looking bearer discreetly rolled his eyes at the head sentinel, Legland. "I’ve been telling this to you since days ago. But since you asked again, I will say it again," the bearer paused, and then his silver eyes lingered on everyone inside the room. Legland, Nicol, Olyn and Xagrien quietly received this stare since the bearer was speaking the truth.

They’ve been restlessly asking for it for days. But who would blame them when they are worried? It’s been three days since that eventful night and since then, their lord hasn’t woken up from his slumber.

So far these three days are the longest sleep that the moon elf lord ever had after his birth. Therefore, they cannot help but feel alarmed because of this.

The bearer explained in a purposely soft voice. "The moon elf lord is fine. He fought an arduous battle, excessively used his elemental powers and he made a lot of miraculous things in a single night so it is natural that he is this exhausted," then his expression became strict.

"As a healer, I advise you not to bother the moon elf lord since rest is what he needed the most. While his nature’s energy doesn’t show any problem, his mental strength was practically used up. He will wake up once he is fully rested. So please refrain from disturbing the lord from now on."

Nicol silently agreed. The moon elf lord indeed made a lot of unbelievable achievements in a single night.

Based on the reports that he received, the battle is not easily won.

A stone golem that can suck away all the vitality of the plants around it to repair its damages. A certain Lord Isami that suddenly appears with an intent to destroy their entire race.

All of these are already a big deal that is simply out of the ordinary.

But what is more shocking is the feats that the moon elf lord did. It is not an exaggeration to say that his lord saved them all.

At this point, Nicol doesn’t have a proper report about what happened after the Stone Golem was defeated. Koniel, his assistant priest, burst out crying when he asked about this. He was tearfully praising and worshipping the moon elf lord to the high heavens.

Nicol deemed that young priest as a helpless case so he moved on to ask someone else.

When he asked Xagrien, who’s been with the moon elf lord the entire time, all he said was: "Everything that the moon elf lord says is the truth."

Meaning: "I will not say anything until the lord says it himself."

Alright, that passed the standard for a faithful subordinate. It was a commendable loyalty and Nicol appreciated that.

Since Xagrien doesn’t have any plans to talk, he asked Legland but the response that he received was: "Boom Boom. Shining white light. Then there’s a dog. Our lord passed out."

What a convenient way of saying that he doesn’t understand the situation. Nicol suppressed the intent to beat Legland up but he is really on the verge of doing so.

Three days passed and there were already various hearsays circulating among the clans. It’s getting more outrageous as the time passes. Nicol needs to know the truth from the moon elf lord to control the situation.

The crisis has passed, but they have a lot of things to follow up on. From this point, Nicol knows that this is the start of the moon elf lord’s plans.

"Uhm, isn’t it possible to estimate the overall state of a moon elf if you probe in their plate? You can also know the possible time when the patient regains consciousness, right? Why didn’t you use that on the moon elf lord?" Olyn asked, confused. He wanted to see Luis awake.

"Oh. Then I guess that the greatness of our lord has a downside too." Olyn nodded while rubbing his chin.

Rean looked at Olyn amusedly. "The moon elf lord is indeed the best."

Then he once again looked at the sleeping moon elf lord and he asked Nicol. Rean stared at the face of the moon elf lord with wonder.

Back in the temple, he already heard things that the new moon elf lord is cute and adorable and he will be a beautiful bearer once his form matures.

Now looking at the bearer, the moon elf lord after receiving the Moon Goddess’ Blessing is an unparalleled beauty among the entire race!

Rean almost obsessively gawks at the fine features of the moon elf lord. He can only sigh as he blames himself for not seeing the younger form of the moon elf lord. The loss brought by responsibility is too much!

Xagrien, on the other hand, was just silently observing the still figure of Luis.

The moon elf lord’s nose moved a little.

Upon noticing this, he turned his back and was about to leave.

"Where are you going, Xagrien?" Nicol curiously asked. This male has been staying by the moon elf lord’s side since they came back while riding the gigantic wooden serpent.

Xagrien didn’t let go of the moon elf lord until they placed him on the bed.

Then this male warrior guarded the sleeping moon elf lord after that. He even declined to get his wounds treated and he just focused on eyeing the moon elf lord.

Xagrien hardly left the lord’s side so what made him leave now?

"The moon elf lord will wake up soon so don’t worry about him," Xagrien said to no one in particular. "I will have a fever."

Nicol wrinkled his forehead, ’How did this male know that the moon elf lord is waking up when an experienced healer himself said that he can’t tell?’

But Nicol didn’t respond to the first statement.

"You have a fever? I told you that you need to get your injuries treated. Rean, please see Xagrien’s–"

"Head Priest Nicol," Xagrien interjected with a little bit of respect. "I have my ways of treating myself. I appreciate the concern but thank you."

"If ever the moon elf lord asks for me..." Xagrien trailed off. "Tell him I’ll be staying in my room because I have a fever."

Rean looked at Legland meaningfully and Legland suspiciously shrugged his shoulders.

Nicol, who never experienced spring, was left clueless. Pity there is no love-related scripture in the temple’s archive.

"Don’t worry, I will make sure to say that to our lord!" Olyn attentively said. Past grievances are forgotten, especially as he had seen that Xagrien is a faithful subordinate to Luis.

The lord’s servant is simple-minded. Anyone who speaks ill or treats the lord roughly is the subject of his animosity but if the others show loyalty to the moon elf lord, then whoever that someone is an ally.

Olyn is still clueless that the relationship between the two is about to step up, the more discreet one is working on it and Olyn will unknowingly give a helping hand.

"Thank you." And Xagrien left.

Not too long later, the moon elf lord woke up just like what Xagrien said.
