This time, Nine is not shy totally unlike when they first met. It seems that the child enjoyed flying thanks to his power.

"Hello, moon elf lord," Nine cutely said with his white wolf ears perked up. His bushy tail is swinging vigorously. His two hands are cupping the prideful white chick.

’Cute!’ Luis’ heart that was full of frustration was instantly cured. He didn’t bother to look at the demeaning stare of the chick but instead focused on the fluffy sight in front of him.

He shot a glare at the chick.

"What is it?" Luis has a vague suspicion that Nine has the ability to commune with animals. It was apparent by how the child described the feelings of the beasts during their first meeting. He just didn’t go further to confirm it out of respect to Sibal.

Of course, he wants to know more about such ability because it is something different from the elemental based powers that the moon elves possessed.

However, he wants to turn back time and refuse Nine’s request after hearing what the damn little bird has to say.

"It said that the food that you were giving it is disgusting and it doesn’t help it’s growth. The seeds are basically trash and the leaves taste nothing. You were a horrible being who doesn’t treat others well." Nine explained with his milky voice.

He stated it so well that his enthusiasm could come through as a mocking to anyone who can’t see the innocence reflected in his eyes.

"Because of that, he will teach you the food that it can eat or else it will starve itself next time." The child concluded with all his childish brilliance. Unbeknownst to him, the moon elf lord’s veins in his head are on the verge of exploding.

’That chick dares?!’

"Then please inform the high and mighty chick who hasn’t even grown his plumage to just leave. This lord cannot afford his demands so scram." Luis’ lips stretched to a grim smile.

"Didn’t you say earlier that this chick needs to settle its debts?" Xagrien reminded Luis with a mocking smile.

At this point, Luis’ annoyance spiked. He doesn’t want to mess with this jerk in the future!

"Can I still ask for that when all of the sudden I am now the bad guy here?!" Luis didn’t mean to raise his voice.

This startled Nine and he accidentally let go of the bird.

"I am sorry I didn’t mean to yell. I am not angry at all." Luis panicked after seeing the tears that were about to drop from Nine’s eyes.

The child nodded and rubbed his eyes. The moon elf lord’s conscience poked him upon seeing the sides of the child’s eyes reddening.

However before anyone could calm down, the white fluffy chick who was finally free, coated its tiny bird legs with a small vortex of air and flew towards the head of the moon elf lord.

The next thing Luis felt was a warm and sticky drop of fluid on his face.

The chick that he saved multiple times actually pooped in his face!

"You shit?! You are really pushing my buttons, huh?!" The moon elf lord’s voice thundered.

Needless to say, this commotion was noticed by everyone and they looked at them with worry. Xagrien signaled that everything was fine. Only then, they breathed a sigh of relief.

Luis didn’t care about the gaze that he was receiving. This time he ran like crazy to catch the ungrateful chick.

He is angry, for real!

Luis energetically ran after the little rascal. He did not realize that he is completely at ease now as if a huge weight is lifted off of his shoulders.

However, none of them stopped for the sake of the other. Instead, the chase was moved to a part of the forest where many medium-tall shrubs are flourishing.

The tiny culprit then burrowed himself in between a shrub with a golden berry like fruit. Its leaves are dark green and it has bright orange bell-like flowers growing in it’s axils.

Luis reached for the chick but suddenly, he felt a prickling sensation on his skin. He abruptly stopped and looked at his arms.

All of a sudden, there are red bumps in his epidermis. He is poisoned!

Luis took a look at the plant once again, this familiar yet unfamiliar look. He has seen it on Earth and he is sure of it.

Luis thought of a famous toxic herb that has purple-bell shaped flowers and black glossy fruit.

"Isn’t this Belladonna with a different look?!" Luis couldn’t help but exclaim after realizing the minor differences between the two.

He wants to confirm his assumption and reach out to pick one of it’s golden berry-like fruit. It’s not like he is careless, but he has the revitalize skill to back him up that’s why he is bold to touch something toxic. Besides his powers made him immune to most poisons.

However, before he could touch the plant for closer inspection a familiar voice suddenly called him.

"My lord?!"
