There's Something Wrong With You, My Lord! -
Chapter 132: The Stench Of A Rival (3)
Chapter 132: The Stench Of A Rival (3)
Mystic Beasts are classified from one to five stars based on their comparative strength to moon elves. Middle Circle is teeming with thousands of these beasts which is why Middle Circle is not for someone weaker than three-stars.
F*ck if he doesn’t know Xagrien’s age. He will repent later with his knees bent so he left that matter at that.
Luis snapped out of his playful reverie and commanded, "All three stars warriors and up, go and be our vanguard. Slay Phantom Leopards as many as you can as long as they are attacking us. Rion, Olyn, and Ilian will serve as your support. They will be handling the ones who slipped past yours."
"Understood, my lord," Legland replied, his eyes exposing his wanting for some action. Nicol and Rean moved with him and jumped to meet the incoming Beasts.
Legland wears his armor and sword that’s made of red flame while Nicol walks with a few orange fires hovering in his body.
"There it is! The head priest’s flesh-eating fire!" Rion blurted out like a fanboy. "That technique from the Ris Clan was said to be the most lethal technique."
"Oh, so this is the fire that they imitated from Lord Flamion? This is impressive."
That moon elf lord was a legend for having a flame that could burn everything.
What a power fitting for someone violent and sadistic like that jerk. Luis noted in his mind.
"Thankfully, Nicol was a cool-headed gentleman. He is the total opposite of his ancestor."
Luis doesn’t want to be stressed thinking about that dead psycho so he focused on the fight and he was pleasantly surprised, especially towards the only bearer among the three.
’Did they cooperate before this?’ Luis wondered as he witnessed the tacit understanding in their every movement. He expected it with the two males but what surprised him was Rean.
The wind power technique he was using enables him to create sharp rings on his wrists.
’What a very nimble body,’ Luis noted as he watched Rean move as if he was dancing.
The mated bearer moved his body flexibly and the moon elf lord couldn’t stop himself from analyzing it using a different perception. In a very dirty one.
’Holy shit, Rean must be an acrobat.’ Luis uttered.
A helicopter or any kinky position in the textbook is not a problem with this talented bearer!
Now he can understand why this cheery bearer caught the fancy of a drop-dead hunk like Legland.
Rean is simply that ideal uke or shou that he reads in BL manhwa!
The moon elf lord silently wiped off his sweat. Thankfully, Rean is taken or else he would be paranoid thinking that someone close to him may potentially attract his hot lover.
No! This is wrong!
Be serious Luis! He cried deep inside and focused on the battle.
"Your mother’s marksmanship is great!" Luis blurted out fighting to distract himself.
The rings on Rean’s wrists shot wind blades as he moved swiftly. None of it missed its target despite the Phantom Leopards occasionally hiding and jumping out from the shadows.
They are tricky beings to deal with but this is not a concern for Rean.
He was that good! He didn’t expect that a healer and a scholarly alchemist could be this good at fighting.
Rion abashedly scratched his head, "Yes, my lord, even before his accuracy is already good. He said that since his stamina was unremarkable due to having an Earthly Spirit plate, he decided to focus on his control and make sure that his attacks would land." Rion said as he conjured his wind bow. "Thank you, my lord. My mother could use his powers longer now because of you."
Rion could still remember his mother’s delight when he realized that the Moonlight Circulation Training Technique worked for him.
"Rion, my son! I absolutely adore our beautiful moon elf lord! I swear that I will do my best to help him to the best of my ability and make sure that he will deliver a healthy child easily! I hope that his baby will inherit his outstanding looks!" Rean’s eyes flashed happiness that could reach the heavens.
"But that is still far from happening..."
The blonde young man’s memories were cut short once he heard the voice of the moon elf lord.
"What I provided was just materials. It’s still up to your hard work if you will go beyond it," Luis fanned his hand, hinting that it was no big deal.
Earthly Spirit is the second lowest-ranked plate and although it is not considered trash, it is not that helpful if it’s about battle of attrition.
Thankfully there’s this new training technique from the system. For once, Luis would agree that this system is a cheat.
"My lord..." a deep male voice called.
Luis forgot that this Ali existed.
"I will do my best for you." The handsome freckled man said.
"Oh-okay. F-fighting..." Luis just answered trying to mask the creeps he is feeling. Maybe if it was Xagrien who said that, he would feel butterflies in his stomach.
But not to this one, Ali is giving him major vibes that he sensed to madmen who lived during the apocalypse. The man was hard to read and he didn’t have much spare time to try to decipher him.
He will just keep an eye on him. Luis concluded.
Just that and he propelled himself towards the battle with a strong gust of wind. This is their clan’s technique, Air Flash.
"This murderous bastard," Ilian whispered and he readied his dagger.
Olyn and Rion, on the other hand, positioned themselves in front of the moon elf lord. Ready to take any incoming attackers.
Xagrien stepped forward. He leveled his mouth to the shell of Luis’ ears and sensually said, "You’re making me sad, Luis. You need to console me for later."
This sent delicious nervousness to the moon elf lord’s system and his initial confidence sank. "Oh..."
In reality, he is bothered by how the leader of the Isan Clan is approaching his bearer. He wanted to break his bones and warn him not to bother his moon elf lord. His intuition as a love-sick man tells him that this Ali wanted Luis and for him, that is enough to pass on a death sentence for the damned man.
But he tried to hold it in out of his respect for the authority of the moon elf lord. The moon elf lord who owned his heart, body and soul.
And Xagrien will not stop until he owns Luis’ as deep and as intense as that.
"Good boy..." he teasingly poked the nipples of his bearer. Thankfully, the others are not facing this way so no one could see how Xagrien played with Luis’ sensitive peaks.
’Fuxk!’ Luis cursed silently with his face flushed. This teasing assh*le!
Is it just him or Xagrien is getting more and more courageous now?
Xagrien’s advances are getting faster.
Is there a competition or something?!
What the hell is happening? They should be focused on training while searching for the Dragon Vein!
Luis purred at Xagrien’s playfulness but then he realized that there were people around them so he pushed the brute away.
"Xagrien!"
The male only laughed.
Knowing that his bearer’s attention was once again his, Xagrien jumped into the fray.
And this is the start of the nightmares for the Phantom Leopard.
Considering their craftiness in using the shadows and the shadow-based whips, the Phantom Leopards didn’t end pathetically. They fought viciously and valiantly that Luis has this thought of keeping some as contracted beasts.
It’s just that the moon elves who stood on their paths were either strong or cooperated solidly.
Various elemental powers flew all over the place and it was predominantly composed of lightning and wind.
It turns out that not even a single beast was spared or passed through.
That is at most 40 feline beasts that have the strength of a three-star moon elf. 5 to 40 ratio is impressive.
It was good news but it also caused disappointment to the others who are more than willing to train.
"What about our share?" Olyn silently whined. He wanted to show his improvements to the moon elf lord and yet the spotlight was hogged by Xagrien and the patriarch from the Isan Clan!
"Don’t worry, we are in this dangerous place so expect that we will roll all over this place," Luis consoled him. He bets that once this battle ends, other beasts will be attracted by the strong stench of blood and a new wave of fighting will ensue.
"Next time all three of you will be fighting alone!"
Luis expected that Ilian would give a big reaction but it didn’t come. He was just silent while watching the slaughter until Rion said his innocent opinion.
"It is a surprise that Patriarch Ali’s combat abilities are almost on par with that of a four-star warrior," Rion uttered in a low voice. It is quite an outstanding feat from a three-star warrior.
The moon elf lord could see the slight change in the chubby young man’s face.
"All of us can kill. However, not everyone could stay unflappable in the act of doing it," Luis said, his words are based on experience from the apocalypse. "This is the reason why some strong individuals are bested by the cruel ones. They are lacking that decisiveness during a kill or be killed situation."
Luis’ eyes landed on Ali as he slowly crushed the huge feline beast using his Tempest King’s Palm.
He’s enjoying it.
Ali was hiding it behind those silver eyes but it’s bare to someone from a dystopian world.
Luis knew that sadistic look so well that he couldn’t be mistaken.
"Meow!" The poor wild beast cried miserably under the strong air pressure.
"This is too much! Olyn couldn’t help but blurt out seeing that the beasts are dying in a slowly torturous way.
While these beasts approached them with the intent of killing them for food, killing them for twisted fun is below the belt!
Ilian gnashed his teeth and he decided to step in. Out of everyone here, Ilian has a rather very personal connection with Ali so he decided to be responsible.
But before he could even take three steps, purple lightning ended the suffering of the fallen predator.
With this, the beasts are all dead.
"The order was to kill them if they are assaulting us not cruelly torture them," Xagrien looked at Ali with nothing but chaos.
"What can I do? My wind power does not have a destructive force that could kill instantly just like yours," Ali squinted his eyes.
"How envious it is to be born with elemental powers that will instantly make you one of the strongest."
Ali downplayed it but it was obvious to anyone who has a common sense that he discredited Xagrien’s strength of being a four-star warrior.
Xagrien was not an idiot.
He was instantly ticked upon hearing this. His chest felt like it was flaring up and a thought crossed his mind.
He wants to mangle this man until no one could recognize his corpse afterwards.
Unbeknownst to him, monstrous bloodlust slowly started to engulf him and this prompted a part of him to surface.
Luis, on the other hand, was watching this happen and truth be told, he is getting pissed off at this redheaded man.
He knows for a fact that Xagrien worked hard to achieve his strength!
"You-" Luis started but he stopped immediately, his heart racing. It may be only in a split second but he saw and knew that Xagrien’s pupils turned vertical once again!
Instead of talking, Luis ran to Xagrien and twirled him to face the other side. All of this happened almost as fast as the speed of light.
No one should know about this!
"Xagrien!" Luis fake yelled, startling the others. "I know it may be attributed to your young age but you are not allowed to be disrespectful to your seniors!"
He pushed the man to move forward, he acted as if he was angry at Xagrien. "Let’s talk a little privately. You needed a heated lecture from this moon elf lord!"
Luis didn’t wait for anyone to respond and he ran together with the agitated Xagrien.
The two vanished into the woods and a smirk bloomed at the young patriarch’s face.
"Who would have thought that there is another half-blood?" a sinister glint in his silver eyes flashed. Seems like an eyesore is easy to dispose of.
