Chapter 107: [Bonus Chapter][Xagrien’s POV] Home
It was a bright sunny day. The refreshing breeze was calmly swaying the lush green canopy of the trees around a certain forest.
Stomp. Stomp. Stomp.
A heavy sound of feet hitting the ground was heard startling the critters around. Inside the forest, a huge black furry bear was seen moving, its back slouching forward. The one-star beasts who saw this scampered with a frightened looks on their faces.
"Xagrien! Xagrien!" A sound was heard coming from the bear’s direction.
A rustling sound of leaves came from above and a fast figure was seen falling. It landed a few meters in front of the bearer.
"Mother," the boy who jumped from the tree said. He was a brown-skinned six-year-old moon elf with long and wavy silver hair. One would look and they would instantly know that this little boy is strong based on the faint muscle lines on his arms, a sign that this child is used to living a tough life. Despite this, his round purple eyes are flashing innocence, something that a child with his age is expected to have.
The great slouching bear suddenly collapsed on the ground with a thunderous sound, revealing horrible circular burn marks in the center of its chest.
With the bear gone, a beautiful tan-skinned bearer was seen. He’s got a heroic air due to the firm and unwavering gaze of his purple eyes.
Gentle and weak looking, that may be the first impression to anyone but if they see this bearer single-handedly carrying a 2000-pound three-eyed great bear then they will be left questioning their common sense.
How can thin arms carry a weight that even most males cannot?
The bearer with hair that has the perfect mix of black and violet flicked his finger on the child’s forehead.
Clack!
"Aww!" The boy cried, tearing up due to the pain. It may be a simple and seemingly harmless flick but it carries a strong force, leaving an obvious reddish spot.
Mori looked unperturbed at his son, in fact, he was watching with amusement in his eyes as Xagrien rubbed his hurt forehead.
"Didn’t I tell you to call me father?" Mori asked in a stern tone. He then reached his hand to remove the stubborn leaves sticking on his son’s fur clothes.
Xagrien raised his head, lips protruding to show how aggrieved he was. "But-" he tried to answer but timely halted upon seeing the threatening fingers of his bearer-mother.
"Father," he smartly called his mother.
"Yes? My dearest son?" Mori smiled the brightest smile as if he didn’t threaten the little boy he called son.
"You hunted a lot of meat again." Xagrien pointed out.
"There’s no such thing as excess food in the wild, Xagrien. Especially in our situation. We will preserve it with salt."
"But we ran out of salt." Xagrien answered despite the fact that his father doesn’t like him to do strenuous chores due to his age, he still did his best to observe and help in a way that he can, like monitoring their goods.
"Huh? Is that even a problem? We will use the herb extracts to preserve them then."
"Mo- Father, you used the last stalk yesterday, remember?" Xagrien once again responded.
This time, Mori could only rub his forehead due to an unforeseen headache. Since it hasn’t been that long since they are in this place he is not familiar with it. It will take a while before he could forage for the herbs needed.
Seeing the stressed reaction of his mother, little Xagrien tried to think of a solution with his limited knowledge.
"Maybe we can ask those fellows living in those stone boxes?" Xagrien tilted his head. He saw those huge and beautiful structures and he thought that it must be comfortable to live there.
It is far from their makeshift house hidden on tree tops. Although, Xagrien thought it was a waste to leave it since they always move their residences from time to time.
Mori became alarmed upon hearing it.
"Where did you find them? Did they see you?" He hurriedly asked his son, panic evident in his purple eyes.
Xagrien was immediately nervous seeing the strong reaction from his mother. "N-no, I was hiding on top of the tree when I saw them in that direction." He pointed at the northwest.
"Are they nearby?"
Little Xagrien guiltily bit his lips. They are far away. But when he tells his mother that, he will know that his son strayed once again while he was out hunting. Little Xagrien will certainly be reprimanded again or worse his forehead will swell horribly!
Seeing the guilty look of his little son’s. Mori didn’t press on but instead, he explained their status as a rogue and what would happen if they met a hostile clan. In between the thump of chopping meat and the sizzling sound of cooking, the mother and son had a heart-to-heart talk.
Xagrien, at age six, was educated by his mother about the hard life that they ought to face as a rogue.
However, the concept of the stone boxes called a house was dearly imprinted in his mind.
"Mo-Father I will build you a house once I grow up." Little Xagrien stubbornly declared after his mother’s lengthy explanation.
Mori helplessly looked at his persistent child, wondering if he should tell Xagrien off that his reluctance to call him Father was obvious or that he was too young to think of adult responsibilities.
The mother, who wanted to be addressed as the father for some reason, decided to smile and said teasingly.
"If you will build me a house then what about your mate? He will be jealous if I live in your house and yet he doesn’t even have one."
The child Xagrien who learned about mates due to his mother’s long talks about his father blushed uncontrollably.
He clenched his fist and boldly declared, "I will not be mated if I still don’t have a house! I will not wrong my mate and let him suffer a hard life!!" Then he ran in shame with a huge bone in his hand. But in his little heart, he swore to do it when he finally met his mate.
Because of this silly child, a loud laugh of the bearer reverberated in the forest.
This scene disappeared like the wisps of air as the pair of purple eyes opened.
That was a distant memory that Xagrien dreamed of later that night.
They are back to the moon elf lord’s room after they let themselves get carried away by their strong desire for each other.
He looked at the sleeping bearer beside him. His lover’s chest is undulating, indicating that Luis is still deep in his sleep.
"Luis..." Xagrien gently whispered his bearer’s name. It is still hard to believe that the moon elf lord that he is fond of came from a different world but his trust for Luis is unconditional. Deep in his heart, he knows that there is no lie in everything that he said.
Aside from that, Luis already showed signs that he is unordinary with the weird words that are coming out of his mouth and his antics that are simply out of this world.
However, these things don’t matter now.
He is already hopelessly attracted to this bearer. Try as he might, he can no longer back down. The fire he has for Luis is burning strongly inside him.
And ultimately, they’ve already gone as far as doing intimate acts with each other.
A smile crept on Xagrien’s lips. The sweetness of the passionate moment will linger in his head and heart for a long time. He is sure about that.
It will be remembered even if they did the full act in the future.
The only regret that he had was they did it outside. For him, his bearer doesn’t deserve to be taken with just the grass and fallen dried leaves as their cushion.
Xagrien wanted to do it in a very special place. Since Luis is an extraordinary existence to others and a very special bearer of his.
Maybe this is the reason why he dreamt of that nostalgic dream. He may no longer be a child but his wish remains the same.
Especially now that he finally met the one whom he wanted to build a home for.
Xagrien’s deepest desire was he wanted to mate with Luis in their very home. In their sturdy and cozy house.
Xagrien closed his eyes and immersed himself in his imagination. He wanted to see Luis writhing in pleasure on their well-made bed. Then he will taste every nook and cranny of his body while his bearer was lying on the table, moaning his name, telling him how much he wanted him and just him.
Then at the heightened sensuality, they will move to the beat of the most primitive sound of their flesh pounding with each other.
At this point, he noticed that certain part of his body waking up.
Xagrien exhaled a heavy and hot breath. This is unbelievable. He cannot believe that just the thought of Luis is enough to turn him on.
Well, what else can he do? In the first place, he didn’t expect that he will act wildly with his bearer. Everything that he did came from the instincts that’s bugging him.
He opened his eyes and scooted closer to Luis. He held a strand of his lover’s hair and brought it in front of his nose, inhaling the natural scent of the moon elf lord.
His purple eyes smiled with satisfaction when Luis moved closer to his body. Xagrien’s sexual desire for this bearer doesn’t dilute this warm feeling in his chest. If anything, it only fuels it to intensify the longing and passion that he has.
Xagrien hugged the sleeping bearer and his entire body relaxed. For him, they felt perfect being in each others arm.
The level of comfort that his bearer reminded him of his strong-willed mother.
’Mother, I finally met my future mate. He is the kind of bearer who would appreciate building a home with someone. He is not someone who would wait for his male just like you. He was strong, kind and sunny and I can’t ask for more because he is perfect for me. Sadly, he didn’t get to meet you because of that accident but I will make sure that I will introduce you to him.’ Xagrien whispered in his heart.
