Chapter 281: Chapter 274. Rush (M)

"Slow down—"

Zein only managed to say that before Bassena shut him up again with another hard, deep kiss full of fervour.

But behind the passion was also the leftover anxiety that being projected into impatience. Zein had learned that when Bassena wasn’t in a good space of mind, the man would barely say anything.

This time too, he only asked "Can we do it?" quietly, and as soon as Zein gave an affirmation, Bassena hadn’t stop kissing him. By the time they arrived at the bed, Zein was already bare, and he didn’t even know how or when.

Ah...seemed like he was just as out of it, as impatient. He missed Bassena the moment he saw the northern lake—the lake they promised to visit together, the lake they couldn’t manage to enjoy. He thought about the esper even inside that illusionary world made of Setnath’s memory.

And the way Bassena devoured him relentlessly was contagious. The kiss he felt on his neck put a moan between his lips, and he felt the arousal almost instantly. He thought he should make Bassena rest some more, but...

It was clear that the esper wouldn’t stop, and it was clear that tonight Zein didn’t have enough wit nor willingness to stop the man either.

Might as well make him so tired he couldn’t help but go to sleep again—Zein thought as he gripped the messy platinum hair. "Haa...there, do it more...there," he let go of his reservation, craned his neck and let Bassena suck his sensitive nape. The one that became more sensitive now after Setnath changed it.

Bassena did that and more, filling the fair neck with red marks while Zein busy taking off his clothes. But before Zein managed to undress the esper, Bassena had already move without taking his lips away from the guide’s skin. Trailing down through endless kisses, inhaling the scent that had been imprinted in his mind since their first meeting in the cave, feeling the muscle twitched beneath his touch...

Zein squirmed and arched his back, gasping at how sensitive he felt that night. His lashes fluttered when Bassena went further down, and he grabbed the platinum hair, pulling the esper up again.

"No, not tonight," he stroked the esper’s lips. "Just hurry and put it inside,"

Zein had no patience for prolonged foreplay tonight, even though Bassena seemed to be keen on tasting every inch of his skin. He’d let Bassena do that later, but for now, there was something else he wanted to do.

Bassena only blinked once and then shifted his gaze toward the nightstand, but Zein grasped his face again and made him look at the guide. "Just put it in," Zein told him before taking a deep breath.

"...raw?" Bassena felt like his mind short-circuited for a bit. Funnily enough, it cleared his head more than before, when he was just smothering the guide with instinct alone.

"Yeah," Zein replied with an arch of his back, pressing their lower body against each other. "I’m going to guide you."

Now, Bassena felt like he lost his mind. The amber eyes flickered as memories and emotions fleeted by, including worry. But Zein pulled him closer, sinking deeper in the mattress with their combine weight.

"Just tonight," the guide whispered, stroking Bassena’s cheek. "Just tonight, you can lose control,"

Bassena did not want to lose control. He wanted to be clear-headed and absorb everything Zein gave to him. But it was proved to be a tall mountain to climb the moment he slid inside, flesh to flesh.

He started it cautiously, carefully; the memories of Zein’s reaction in the Deathzone still haunted him. It was the first time he realized the nightmare of being hated by someone he liked. For a while, he just kind of hovered there, tip to puckering hole, rubbing without daring to push inside.

And it drove Zein mad.

So the guide hooked his legs onto the esper’s hips and pushed Bassena forward, forcing the tip to slide inside. And they both gasped, loudly. Bassena had to grab onto the headboard hard to steady himself because the sensation assaulting his body almost made his legs lose strength.

No...this one too, was different. They did not remember it being like this before; not in that cave, not in the Deathzone, not in the New Year.

It was a rush, it was a flood, it was an electrifying pleasure coursing through their body and swirling, sweeping their senses in countless sparks and blinding lights.

And Bassena hadn’t even fully inside the guide.

For a while, both of them stopped moving. Looking at each other, they digested the newfound layers of pleasure in a sexual guiding; a sensation they could only experience because both of them, their heart and soul, were resonating with each other. A sensation that a guide and an esper could only feel if they walked beyond the cleansing process.

"Zein..." Bassena called the guide, whose eyelashes had been fluttering in a daze.

"Go on," Zein whispered with airy breath. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, placing his hand against the esper’s chest, feeling the same frantic heartbeat that making a mess inside him. "Don’t stop..."

It was a single command that Bassena took to his heart and his movement. No longer worried and hesitated, he pushed all the way and felt that there was no better place to be; like he was belonged there from the start; like they made for each other.

Of course they were made for each other. Otherwise, how could it feel this good...this right? Drowning inside his darkness had never been feel this right. Bassena could barely opened his eyes, feeling like he was sucked inside a whirlpool that came from the guide. A whirlpool that erased every bad things, every doubt, every fear.

In that blissful moment, it wasn’t a cleansing. It was a purification.

Gripping the headboard until it was creaking under the pressure, clenching the sheet until it felt like it would tear apart—there was nothing Bassena could do but gasping silently at the overwhelming sensation as he was encased inside a torrent of water, rushing around him until it form a cocoon.

To feel like he was protected and comforted just by being connected to someone like this...

"...I love you," through his gasping breath, with eyes that refused to even blink just so he wouldn’t miss any moment, Bassena uttered his confession while staring deeply into the blue eyes, and it was the last thing he managed to say before he was assaulted by an even stronger rush; that for a moment, he was blinded by the light inside his perpetual darkness.

A pair of hands pulled him down, until everything he could see was a pair of brilliant blue, and everything he could hear was their erratic heartbeat. Zein did not say anything, but his guiding told Bassena everything. The soothing warmth that encased him protectively, possessively.

And a single word coming out between gasping moans. "Bas..." as the blue eyes flickering in an effort to stay afloat, Zein ran his hands over his esper’s face, regretting every seconds he wasted by refusing to accept this.

That it wasn’t superficial. That it wasn’t just a trap. That it could be beautiful. That it could be fulfilling.

"Bassena..."

Even if his mind broke down until he forgot every other words in this world, Zein was sure he would never forgot his esper’s name. The way it slid on his tongue felt like it was an instinct built inside him from a long time ago.

For now, as he wondered if this beautiful, blissful sensation he had been avoiding all this time was what people called love, that name on his lips was his word of devotion.

Again, and again, he would whisper and moan that name until he could no longer speak, until both his torrent and Bassena’s darkness melted together and everything...everything was just wiped out of existence for a precious second.

"Zein..." Bassena breathed heavily against the guide’s lips, gripping the headboard that had already cracked beneath his palm. "Zein, I’m going to—hah!"

Bassena bit his lips hard, groaning as he tried to pull out, but Zein was clenching him harder instead. "Zein—"

Still, Zein did not let him go, clawing into his back and pulling him even more; closer, deeper, and there was nothing Bassena could do but succumb to the overriding sensation.

For a moment, as he embraced the guide tightly and buried his face on the fair neck, Bassena felt like he was being thrown into a raging sea, thrillingly getting disoriented in an uncontrollable current, forgetting about everything and anything until he crashed into the shore. And the raging turbulent turned into a gentle wave that caressed him softly as he stared into the bright, beautiful sky with flickering eyes.

Dazedly, Bassena pulled his upper body away, feeling a pair of hands sliding off his bleeding back. It took him a few moments to registered what just happened, and as he blankly staring at the fluid dripping out of Zein, connecting obscenely with his tip, clarity hit his mind.

It was a weird second where he felt everything from wondrous to fear all at the same time. Like a reflex, he grasped the guide’s face as he dove into panic. "I’m sorry! Zein, I’m so—"

A callous thumb pressed into his apologizing lips to stop him, and rubbing there gently. Slowly, still with fear filling his mind, Bassena finally took a time to look at the guide.

Zein was staring at him in a daze, unfocused. The flush was spreading all over his fair skin like a blooming flower, down to his chest and twitching abdomen. It was still convulsing even now, as if his stomach was still contracting. And it was clean.

The amber eyes fluttered as Bassena dazedly reached down and put his palm against the guide’s abdomen, prompting Zein to gasp and flinch.

"Ah..."

Bassena blinked at the unexpected display, feeling the twitching muscle beneath his palm. "Zein...did you—"

Before Bassena could finish his words, he was shoved into the mattress, and stared blankly at the guide on top of him. For a second, the fear of that night was coming back. But immediately, he could see that Zein wasn’t looking at him with contempt.

There was fire blazing in that blue eyes, a passion he was so familiar with now.

Pressing his hand on Bassena’s shoulder, Zein lowered his face until their face was just inches from each other. "Again," he whispered with airy breath. "Make me feel that again."
