Chapter 1002 - Chapter 1002 Chapter 1002 Reason
Chapter 1002: Chapter 1002 Reason Chapter 1002: Chapter 1002 Reason Luo Yuqing had invited quite a few people.
Among them were several students from the Martial Arts Club, including Wang Guomin, whom Luo Ziling had met before, the newly appointed president of the Martial Arts Club, and a few of his classmates. There were also several girls who were purely there to watch the excitement.
At a quick glance, there seemed to be seven or eight people ready to go challenge the other gym.
Seeing that several of the girls going with them were quite pretty, Cao Jianhui was ecstatic.
However, he didn’t want Luo Yuqing to look down on him; hence, he didn’t act frivolous but politely greeted them and introduced himself, without saying much else.
With other classmates around, Luo Yuqing dropped her amiable appearance and adopted a noble queen-like demeanor.
Yet, Luo Yuqing’s nature was still that of a forthright girl; even with her airs, she was nothing like the aloofness of Yang Qingyin or Ouyang Feifei, and she didn’t give off a vibe of keeping people at a distance.
Wang Guomin had been elected president of the Martial Arts Club with Luo Yuqing’s support and thus had become her loyal fan.
However, he had always thought that the expert who helped him that day was Luo Yuqing’s younger sister, not the Luo Ziling standing in front of him.
Luo Ziling’s makeup that day had been very impressive, so he hadn’t recognized that the person who helped him was the very Luo Ziling in front of him today.
In the eyes of boys like Wang Guomin, Luo Yuqing was an exalted goddess; they didn’t dare to hope for her favor. Just to be noticed by her, to interact and speak with them, was already a great honor.
Luo Ziling, with his level of campus fame, was also someone they looked up to.
In their hearts, Luo Ziling was of the same caliber as Luo Yuqing; there was a gap in status between them. The two together seemed well-matched, so seeing Luo Ziling, they didn’t dare to be as casual as with ordinary classmates and were very polite.
Luo Ziling’s reputation was quite outstanding, and his martial skills were known to many students.
Having Luo Ziling at their side today to go challenge the Taekwondo gym, Wang Guomin didn’t worry about a thing.
During this period, the Martial Arts Club led by Wang Guomin had suffered quite a bit of bullying from the Taekwondo Club, and they had long wanted to challenge them.
Only, he knew his own martial skills were mediocre, so he hadn’t dared to act rashly.
Luo Yuqing had planned today’s challenge, and he was naturally all in.
He was aware that after today, the Martial Arts Club’s reputation would soar even higher. He was contemplating how to recruit Luo Ziling as a member. With Luo Ziling in the club, no one would dare to challenge them. He just didn’t realize that Luo Yuqing had her own reasons for taking them to challenge the gym.
“Is our timing not quite right?” Luo Yuqing glanced at the time as they prepared to head for the Taekwondo gym, looking a bit embarrassed, “I was busy with some stuff this morning and got delayed. Going now means we’ll miss lunchtime.”
“No problem,” Cao Jianhui patted Luo Ziling’s shoulder, “Anyway, our boss will treat us to lunch later. With so many beauties here, if he dares not to treat everybody to lunch, I’ll immediately post on the forum and air some of his dirty laundry.”
After saying that, Cao Jianhui ran to Luo Yuqing’s side, using her as a shield against any possible violent retaliation from Luo Ziling.
“What kind of dirty laundry?” Luo Yuqing suddenly became curious.
“Let’s go,” Luo Ziling snorted irritably, “It definitely won’t take much effort to get the job done. It’s just a few students who practice Taekwondo, right? I’m not competing with them in Taekwondo techniques but in who’s better at fighting.”
“That’s right,” Cao Jianhui quickly agreed, “Our Ziling with just a move or two can bring them to their knees–no need to waste much time. It’s now ten fifty-eight, I reckon by eleven thirty everything will be settled, maybe even sooner.”
“Then let’s go. Afterwards, I’ll treat everyone to a meal outside to celebrate,” Luo Yuqing offered generously.
With Luo Yuqing willing to treat everyone to a meal, there were cheers from the whole group.
Luo Ziling and Luo Yuqing walked together while others consciously kept their distance, not wanting to disturb their private conversation.
At this moment, Cao Jianhui’s lecherous nature was on full display as he immediately sidled up to a few girls, cozying up to the one he found the most appealing. Seeing Cao Jianhui act this way, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but show a look of disdain, which Cao Jianhui completely ignored.
A crowd of us marched mightily to “Jin Tai,” a taekwondo club located just outside the west gate of the school.
This club, situated near the school, mainly recruits students from the school.
The owner is a South Korean named Jin Tai who is said to have ranked in a national level taekwondo competition in South Korea.
He is also an international student and is set to graduate next year.
Jin Tai Taekwondo Club is quite large and has a lot of students enrolled.
Most of them are from nearby schools. There are also people from society, as well as some younger children.
Many South Korean international students come here to learn taekwondo or to gather. Jin Tai Taekwondo Club is not only for learning taekwondo; it also has a teahouse and a cafe, but they are not open to the public, only to insiders.
Jin Tai’s father is also a taekwondo master, a black belt athlete who has won national championships in South Korea. He has made a lot of money through taekwondo and is now a well-known businessman in South Korea.
One thing Luo Yuqing had not told Luo Ziling was that the person she really wanted to teach a lesson was none other than Jin Tai himself.
Because Jin Tai had once pursued her relentlessly for a time, and back then, she thought he seemed okay in both looks and demeanor, so she did not explicitly reject him, treating him as a friend. To her surprise, after dining alone with Jin Tai following an event, he began spreading rumors that Luo Yuqing was his girlfriend and that the two of them had an intimate relationship. This made Luo Yuqing angry, and she stopped wanting anything to do with Jin Tai.
But Jin Tai was not discouraged and continued his relentless pursuit, instigating several other Koreans to harass Luo Yuqing.
He even made a bold claim: if anyone else dared to pursue Luo Yuqing, he would not be polite to them.
This was the real reason why Luo Yuqing kept insisting that Luo Ziling should give the Goryeo guys a good lesson; she just hadn’t said it explicitly.
Of course, the members of the Taekwondo Club were so arrogant, often bullying other students, and this was another thing she was unhappy about.
These taekwondo-practicing Koreans were brazen, frequently bullying Huaxia students. But because of their foreign status, everyone tried to minimize the issues, adopting an attitude of reducing big incidents to small ones and nothing at all, which over time, led them to become even more arrogant, always acting as if they were above nationals.
Of course, such strife was also related to the deeply rooted conflicts between the two nations, the specifics of which obviously couldn’t be detailed.
However, neither Jin Tai nor his minions had anticipated that Luo Yuqing would actually bring a group to their doorstep to challenge them.
Luo Ziling also had never expected that he would be used as a pawn by Luo Yuqing.
