Chapter 1113 - Chapter 1113 Chapter 1113 This Woman Is Really Crazy
Chapter 1113: Chapter 1113: This Woman Is Really Crazy Chapter 1113: Chapter 1113: This Woman Is Really Crazy After all the guests had dispersed, Luo Yuqing finally let go of Luo Ziling’s hand.
“Where’s Xiaoqing?” Luo Yuqing asked Wu Ningjing, whose face held an unusual expression.
“She left,” Wu Ningjing sighed, glanced at Luo Ziling, and looked like she wanted to say something but hesitated.
“Mom, you can go back. I’ll return to school with Ziling later,” Luo Yuqing said as she belched rudely from drinking.
She immediately covered her mouth and then gave Luo Ziling an apologetic smile.
Wu Ningjing frowned, but before she could say anything, Luo Ziling spoke up, “Auntie Wu, it’s fine. You go ahead, I’ll take Yuqing back to school. I know some medicine, and I’ll help her sober up later. Your concerns, I’ve taken them to heart. I will try to clear up the situation as soon as possible, so nobody remains in the dark. Don’t worry about us; we’re adults now, and we won’t make any mess that we can’t clean up.”
Wu Ningjing looked at Luo Ziling a few times but ultimately said nothing.
Luo Yuqing also did not concern herself with what was left behind and left everything to Wu Ningjing to handle. She and Luo Ziling got ready to head back to school.
Cao Jianhui, Li Fuming, and Wu Longjiang, the three guys, had originally planned to leave with him, but seeing that the vibes weren’t right, if they went with Luo Ziling, they would disrupt the good thing going on between Luo Ziling and Luo Yuqing. Consequently, they left before Luo Yuqing was ready to depart.
Luo Yuqing didn’t care about whether Cao Jianhui and the others stayed or left. After leaving the venue of the drinking party, she hooked her arm through Luo Ziling’s.
“Since you played my boyfriend today, you’d better play the role well,” she said as Luo Ziling tried to wriggle free, but Luo Yuqing clung on even tighter, “You didn’t perform well today, you know. When I went up to speak, you didn’t even stand by my side.”
“If I did that, everyone would have misunderstood,” Luo Ziling awkwardly explained, “Isn’t it better this way? This lets everyone know who I am, and even if we prove our sibling relationship later, it will be easier to explain and won’t give people the wrong idea!”
“Hmph,” Luo Yuqing grunted dissatisfiedly, but said nothing more, pulling Luo Ziling away from the hotel.
“Let’s find a place to sit and have some tea. You look a bit drunk,” Luo Ziling kindly suggested, “I have some hangover remedies with me, a small dose should do the trick.”
“Or you just want to ask me some things, right?” Luo Yuqing smiled brilliantly.
Luo Ziling did not deny it, and his smile was as good as a confirmation.
So, the two found a coffee house not far from the hotel and took a small private room.
Throughout the walk, Luo Yuqing practically leaned on Luo Ziling’s arm, leaving him quite embarrassed the entire way.
This woman, he couldn’t tell if she was doing it on purpose or because she was drunk, but while holding onto his arm, she pressed her whole body against him, and Luo Ziling could distinctly feel her softness and elasticity.
Although such contact was very exciting, the thought of their potential blood relation made Luo Ziling extremely uncomfortable.
But, fearing ridicule from the cafe staff, he didn’t show it and helped Luo Yuqing into the private room.
Who knew that once inside the room, Luo Yuqing would become even more outrageous, hugging him tightly and pressing her entire body against his.
As Luo Ziling was about to push her away, she lifted her head, looking at him with a grin that wasn’t entirely a smile, “For now, as we can’t confirm if we’re siblings, let me enjoy your embrace. Don’t move away.”
With that, she wrapped her arms even tighter around Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling was nearly suffocated by her hug, and ultimately he gave up struggling helplessly.
Luo Yuqing quietly snuggled in Luo Ziling’s embrace, and after indulging in the closeness for a while, she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him imperiously on the lips, then pushed him away with a giggle.
“Drinking too much can be a good thing, you know. It gets you to do things you wouldn’t dare normally. Don’t bring up what just happened; I’ve already forgotten,” Luo Yuqing said as she plopped down on the sofa, resting her chin in one hand, her eyes hazy as she gazed at Luo Ziling, “How come the more I look at you, the handsomer you seem? My heart is racing!”
Luo Ziling ignored Luo Yuqing, instead instructing the waiter to bring in a pot of boiling water, two servings of black tea, some fruits, and desserts.
“I have a hangover cure, no side effects. You should take some in a bit,” Ziling said, smiling at her as he walked back to the private room and took a seat opposite Yuqing: “You’re a bit too excited today. If you don’t sober up, you’ll definitely not be able to sleep tonight.”
Yuqing propped her chin with both hands, not blinking as she stared intently at Ziling.
“What are you doing?” Ziling felt a bit embarrassed under her intense gaze, “It’s not like you’ve never seen me before.”
“I’m so stupid; why bother figuring out if we are siblings or not,” Yuqing pouted coquettishly, “Isn’t it better to keep things ambiguous? Without clearing up our relationship, maybe I could end up as your girlfriend.”
“Uh, that would be a big problem,” Ziling said with a wry smile on his face.
“Fuxi and Nuwa were siblings, weren’t they? And they created mankind!”
“That’s just an ancient myth!”
“Who knows, it might actually be true,” Yuqing said with a mysteriously amused smile.
“Don’t think about such nonsense, and don’t do anything absurd,” Ziling commanded firmly, then asked seriously, “Tell me the true purpose behind your arrangements today.”
“Humph, I don’t want to say!” Yuqing was acting like a mischievous little girl at this moment.
After rolling her eyes at Ziling, she took out the Jade Pendant Ziling had given her from her bag and started to examine it attentively.
Just then, the waiter brought in the items, and Ziling had to stop talking.
After the waiter left, Ziling prepared a cup of tea with the hangover cure for Yuqing and instructed her to drink it.
“What if you put some stimulating drug in here, and I end up tricked by you?” Yuqing squinted at Ziling, holding the teacup as if about to drink, “Should I drink it or not?”
“If you have that kind of wariness, that’s good,” Ziling replied irritably: “You should always be careful with drinks or tea given to you by men.”
“Forget it, I won’t be guarded in front of you,” Yuqing said, then gulped down the warm tea in one go.
After setting down the cup, she flaunted the Jade Pendant in front of Ziling: “I can’t be bothered with the other gifts. This Jade you gave me, I will always carry with me. Oh, and when it’s your birthday, I’ll also give you a gift, and you must carry it with you all the time.”
Ziling was amused and exasperated by Yuqing’s words, but eventually he didn’t argue with her and nodded in agreement.
Yuqing was then satisfied.
“You want to know why my mom and I were so flamboyant today, and why I publicly announced I would no longer be the Li Family’s daughter,” Yuqing said, her playful expression giving way to solemnity, “Actually, even if you didn’t ask, I wanted to tell you!”
Ziling’s interest was piqued immediately: “Then tell me!”
