Chapter 1090 - Chapter 1090 Chapter 1090 What Should I Do

Chapter 1090: Chapter 1090: What Should I Do? Chapter 1090: Chapter 1090: What Should I Do? Right on the fifteen-minute mark, Luo Ziling appeared in front of Yang Qingyin.

“Luo,” he said proudly, holding up a bowl of her favorite wontons, “would you like to eat first or shall I treat your injury?”

Having just taken a bath and changed into pajamas, Yang Qingyin, lying on her bed browsing her phone, glanced sideways at Ziling with annoyance. “Of course, eat first. I only had a little for dinner and have been hungry for a while. Some people don’t seem to care about me at all, just wander around enjoying themselves. Hmph, it makes me mad just thinking about it.”

Ziling felt a twinge of guilt but had learned to keep his cool; he eventually just chuckled and teased Qingyin, “Ah-oh, I actually forgot something.”

“What is it?” Qingyin asked casually.

“I forgot to buy a bottle of Zhenjiang vinegar,” Ziling replied, bursting out in laughter, “Luo here is such a jealous pot, I can’t believe I forgot! Looks like from now on, two bottles of vinegar is the minimum whenever we have a meal.”

Qingyin was immediately annoyed and jumped out of bed, pouncing on Ziling and unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks.

Ziling quickly placed the bowl of wontons on the table and, after being on the receiving end of Qingyin’s “assault” for a bit, he grabbed her hands, smiling, “Luo, you seem a bit off today, has something else happened?”

“Annoying junior, let go of me,” Qingyin, now even more irritated and embarrassed, shouted, “All you do is bully me, I’m so angry!”

Of course, Ziling wasn’t going to release her just like that, but instead pulled Qingyin closer to him.

With a light cry, Qingyin fell into Ziling’s arms.

She was all warmth and sweet fragrance, and Ziling, without hesitation, kissed her.

The impulse roused at Feifei’s earlier was still not fully dissipated.

After struggling for a bit, Qingyin stopped resisting and allowed Ziling to be mischievous.

However, after kissing Ziling for a while, she suddenly struggled fiercely and pushed him away hard.

“You’ve just been with some woman, haven’t you?” Qingyin said with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile, “You reek of perfume.”

“I had dinner and chatted with my mother, even gave her a shoulder rub and acted a bit spoiled with her. You wouldn’t be jealous of my own mother, would you? Hehe, jealous Luo, so petty, smaller hearted than the eye of a needle.” Ziling said, feeling proud of his quick wit after his explanation.

Hearing his explanation, Qingyin finally felt relieved, but she still pouted, “Fine, I am petty, what’s it to you? If you’re not satisfied, go find Beauty Ouyang or Journalist Chen, or your Luo. They’re more generous than me, they can tolerate you being intimate with other women.”

“Luo, I understand, women have a few days each month when they are irritable, so today, vent all you want. Even hitting me a few times is fine,” Ziling said the words, but he didn’t let go of her hands. He even took the opportunity to kiss her again when she pouted.

Qingyin didn’t struggle but accepted Ziling’s affection.

After a tender moment, Qingyin’s resentment faded away.

Though Ziling felt a little guilty, he had also come to a realization: often, in front of a woman, one must not always be blunt and truthful; it’s important to coax them. Make them happy and many problems will just disappear.

With this understanding, Ziling felt a sense of pride, proud of his quick thinking and his ability to summarize his experiences.

“The young master is pretty amazing, just a few days out in the world, and I’ve already learned so much about life,” he thought smugly to himself, as Qingyin pulled away from him, ready to eat the wontons.

“Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something,” Yang Qingyin said after eating a few wontons and then stopped. “My grandfather called me this evening, saying he wants me to bring you to meet him someday.”

As she spoke, there was a slight blush on her face.

Luo Ziling frowned upon hearing this, “Really?”

“What, you don’t want to?” Yang Qingyin suddenly seemed a bit unhappy. “He wants to see you, and you don’t want to meet him?”

“I met him today inside the Great Hall. He threatened me to my face, forbidding me to see you again, and said as long as he’s alive, it would be impossible for us to be together,” Luo Ziling explained solemnly, and then briefly told Yang Qingyin about the events that had transpired earlier that day.

Yang Qingyin turned pale when she heard this.

She had thought that her grandfather wanted to meet Luo Ziling for a different purpose, not realizing he had already threatened him today.

Her grandfather wanting to meet Luo Ziling, asking her to bring Luo Ziling to him, she could imagine what might happen.

“Then forget it,” she said, a bit disheartened. “I won’t go. I’ll talk to Grandpa.”

“I’ll go and meet your grandfather,” Luo Ziling, however, didn’t seem to mind much, “After all, it’s not the first time we’re meeting. Whether it’s an argument or whatever, I’m not afraid. If I don’t go, not only will he look down on me, but you’ll also be caught in the middle.”

“Alright,” Yang Qingyin said thoughtfully. “Then I’ll arrange it, and bring you to see him one of these days.”

After a pause, she added, “But I hope you can control your emotions and not argue with them, for my sake, okay?”

“I won’t argue with them, but if they question me, I will certainly have to explain a few things.”

Yang Qingyin looked at Luo Ziling for a while and, in the end, didn’t insist on anything further, nodding gently instead.

But her mood had turned sour.

She was in good spirits when she was on the phone with Luo Ziling, even teasing him a bit.

She had thought there might be a turning point, that Grandpa’s initiative to see Luo Ziling meant that if this opportunity was handled well, their future could be a little brighter. She did not expect that her grandfather had already confronted Luo Ziling with threats earlier in the day.

In other words, all her hopes were misplaced, which was a big blow to her.

Seeing Yang Qingyin’s mood sink, Luo Ziling didn’t tease her any further.

After she listlessly finished the wontons, rinsed her mouth, and went to bed, he diligently began to give her a massage.

“Junior, if my Grandpa really is determined to keep you away from me, what would you do?” Yang Qingyin asked softly while Luo Ziling was massaging her.

“He’s already threatened me a while ago, now it’s just the same song again, nothing of real substance,” Luo Ziling replied without a second thought. “What I fear the least is other people’s threats, so, your grandfather’s threats, I just take as the wind passing by.”

Seeing Yang Qingyin turn her face to the side with a puzzled look as he said this, he quickly asked back, “What about you? What will you do?”

Yang Qingyin sighed deeply but didn’t answer Luo Ziling’s question.

“What should I do? I don’t even know myself,” Yang Qingyin lamented in her heart.
