Chapter 620 - Chapter 620 Chapter 620 Professor Please Dont Disturb Me
Chapter 620: Chapter 620: Professor, Please Don’t Disturb Me During Class Chapter 620: Chapter 620: Professor, Please Don’t Disturb Me During Class After these incidents, Tong Qingyan found herself unconsciously growing closer to Xu Xingchen, and after having breakfast together, they returned to the university town and went to their respective schools.
The course load for freshmen wasn’t light, and Tong Qingyan still had class that morning.
Unfortunately, the classroom for this particular class was right next to the archaeology department. Tong Qingyan, with a cold expression, went back to her dorm to grab her books and headed towards the classroom.
Along the way, she encountered students who pointed and whispered about her.
Tong Qingyan gripped her textbooks tightly, the veins on the back of her hand almost bursting out.
So stupid, do they really think Bai Chuwei is some sort of Immortal Teacher? She’s simply a spokesperson for their team, at best a pretty vase!
Even though it was just a vase, Tong Qingyan couldn’t help but feel a twinge of envy.
Being such a vase was quite good. At least she had become famous all over China among middle and high school students, more formidable than A-list celebrities. Just by selling forty hours of study videos, Bai Chuwei must have made a substantial sum of money.
She walked to the nearby classroom, and suddenly saw many old professors standing at the classroom door, somewhat confused. What was going on?
“What else could it be? These professors are all here for Bai Chuwei!” a student exclaimed enviously nearby.
A glimmer of envy flashed in Tong Qingyan’s eyes. Was this grand gathering really for Bai Chuwei? Was she really worthy?
Since they hadn’t found Bai Chuwei in the girls’ dormitory last night, the group of old professors had changed their approach.
First class of the next day, they came looking.
Imperial University was actually quite relaxed when it came to student management. The students were high achievers, and geniuses with high IQs often had quirks and habits. The school, in order to accommodate them, wasn’t so strict in its management.
For instance, Bai Chuwei moved off-campus at the beginning of the semester, and the school had no objections. They simply signed the agreement and stamped their fingerprints, and it was done.
With few students in the archaeology major, the classroom was never full. And now, with this group of professors, deans, and counselors from various departments arriving, they went straight in and occupied the last few rows of seats!
The lecturer for this class was a new teacher in his twenties. Upon seeing a bunch of big shots occupying the back, his legs nearly gave out.
Mama mia!
Even the public classes were not this terrifying!
Wasn’t each and every one of these figures individuals who could shake their respective fields with a single stamp of their foot?
The head of the archaeology department even comforted him, “Mr. Chen, don’t be nervous. Just go on with your lecture as you would normally and treat us as air. Just air.”
Mr. Chen: “…”
Treating you like air is easier said than done! Why don’t you come up and try?
A professor started to get restless and put on a pair of reading glasses to look around, “Why hasn’t student Bai Chuwei come to class yet?”
Bai Chuwei always arrived just in time, stepping into the classroom with a book and a pen two minutes before the bell rang.
As soon as she stepped in, a thunderous applause erupted from the last two rows!
“Bai student, you finally made it! I’m the dean of the math department. Why not come to our department to shine bright? Don’t worry, the president has already agreed!”
“When did the president agree? How come I don’t know about it? Old Zhou, don’t think I’m unaware of your fishing for students, going to the president saying Bai Chuwei volunteered to change departments?” The head of the archaeology department was furious, “She’s a student of our major!”
The group of old fellows were on the verge of quarreling again, and the teacher on the podium was nearly in tears, he still had a class to teach…
Bai Chuwei seemed not at all surprised by their arrival, calmly finding a seat to sit down.
Professor Wang Mingkuan, shamelessly trying to cozy up, approached, “Bai student, I…”
Bai Chuwei glanced at him and interrupted with a cool voice, “Professor, please don’t disturb my class.”
…She actually still wants to attend class?!!
