It wasn’t just the question which surprised Caishen; it was also the way she asked.

She was so calm and collected as if she was offering him ordinary candy on the corner of some street.

He on the other hand was surprised, shaken to the core.

He moved his hand and touched the side of her neck, ensuring that she kept all of her focus on him.

“Alix.”  “Mmm.” “Did I mishear or did you just ask me if I wanted a system?” As soon as he heard the question out loud, he started to wonder if he had jumped the gun in his thoughts.

All she asked was if he wanted a system.

It wasn’t as if she had offered him one.

This question was absolutely normal, just as asking one if they wanted ice cream or soda was normal.

She was nodding continually meanwhile, albeit slowly and almost playful like.

“You heard me right, do you want a system?

If you do, I can give you one.” She opened a round ball of dark chocolate with strawberry filling and started nibbling on it like a rat.

He was watching her and wondering if she realized what she had just said.

Why the heck was she eating chocolate after saying something so shocking like that?

He felt as if the ground had just up beneath him and it was about to swallow them yet she was so calm and collected.

He grabbed her hand, took away the chocolate ball and tossed it into the water.

She followed it with her eyes and almost leaped off the float to go after it but he stopped her by grabbing her shoulders.

“Alix, stop eating the stupid chocolate for heaven’s sake, it’s not important right now.

What you have just said, explain it.” She pouted and looked at the water again before shooting him a displeased look.

“My chocolate.” She complained.

He moaned a little in frustration and for the first time, experienced the urge to shake his wife out of her silly chocolate daze.

“Forget the damn sweets; I will buy you all the chocolates in the world if that’s your heart desire.

Let’s first discuss this.

This is a serious matter and I am not just saying it because I definitely want a system but because if you can somehow give ordinary people systems, it will make you the most valuable person in the country.

But, it will also make you the number one target for the dark side.

The bureau itself could hold you hostage and force you to give systems to specific people it chooses.

His eyes then looked up at the single camera in the corner of the room.

They had used the swimming pool at the building gym so security was monitoring it for safety reasons so that they could send help quickly in case someone was drowning or any other accident occurred.

However, ever since the bureau of systems entered their lives, he imagined that everywhere, all the time they were being watched.

For all he knew, they had also tapped into these cameras and monitoring them.

“This is not good; I must get the security footage deleted.

I need my phone.” He jumped into the water and pulled the float as well using one of the loose straps next to the frog head.

He helped her out of the pool and made sure that the blanket fully covered her.

Then, he grabbed his phone and gestured at her to follow him.

“Hubby,” she called out.

“Not here.” He hissed at her.

“Don’t say a single word and just quietly follow me.” He tried to grab one of her hands but then noticed that both of them were inside the blanket.

So, he moved to her shoulders, guiding her by the right one as he made a call.

“Mo Sen, get rid of the footage of my wife and I at the gym swimming pool.

Make sure that there are no backups anywhere.

Bring everything into the house and set it on fire.

If anybody tries to resist, restrain them if you must.

Take their phones as well and anything else they may have which can be used to record or take pictures.” Mo Sen was still asking what had possibly been captured on the cameras when Caishen cut the call.

“Hubby, the blue smurf can wipe out the footage and…” “I told you not to say anything.” He reminded her.

Alix smacked her lips, stopping herself from saying anything else.

She actually wanted to turn back and return for all the snacks she had left behind.

Even her float, bag and phone had been left at the poolside.

The elevator doors opened and he pushed her all the way into the house.

The boys were watching an action movie in the living room and they saw them.

“Auntie.” Xiaobo jumped happily.

His restless legs were raised and he started climbing over the chair intending to rush up to Alix and hug her.

“My baby.” Alix called out to him.

Then she remembered that she had been told not to talk and she closed her mouth.

“Zhang Xiaobo stay where you are.” Caishen warned him.

His tone was stern; promising Xiaobo that there would be a punishment if he run up to Alix right now and acted like a baby as he usually did.

Xiaobo waved goodbye sadly and watched as his uncle continued pushing Alix until they disappeared and they all heard the bedroom door slam.

All four boys moved then, going as close to the bedroom as they could out of curiosity.

“Is it just me or does brother-in-law look angry?” Yuewei asked.

“Uncle is mad, very mad.” Xiaobo agreed.

“What do you think our sister did to make him angry?” Wu Wei asked Yuewei.

“Maybe she ate sweets secretly in bed again.

Uncle doesn’t like it when she does that, especially if he finds candy wrappers in bed.” Xiaobo who had his small right hand on his chin was like a detective with a pondering look on his face in the middle of an investigation.

“She doesn’t do that anymore.” Wu Gang shared.

“Maybe she beat up another person.” Yuewei suggested.

All the boys nodded.

“It must be the case.

Our older sister has restless fists.” Wu Wei sighed helplessly.

The boys walked back to the living room slowly to continue watching their movie.

If Alix was in trouble for fighting, they couldn’t help her.

Wu Gang looked back in the direction of the bedroom one last time and he said, “If older sister was younger than us, I would knock her on the head to stop her from fighting.

Good girls don’t fight.

Do you suppose brother-in-law will punish her too harshly?” They found nanny Wang who was on her third delivery of caramel popcorn for the night.

All the nanny heard was that Caishen was going to punish Alix and the word fight.

She urgently sent a text to Yura, informing her that the couple which was always lovey dovey was fighting.
