The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 455 - 455 Alix's day out

455: Alix’s day out.

455: Alix’s day out.

They had already discussed this matter at home and at his office many times.

They had even raised it with the Zhang elders and nothing had changed.

If the Zhang’s couldn’t give their own female children shares, how was it possible then to give them to a daughter-in-law?

Grandpa Tai exploded like a firecracker.

“I am allowed to express myself Heng.

It is my constitution given right to express myself in any way that i please.

I will not be silenced, i will….” “Grandfather, first calm down.”  Alix moved from where she was and she went on to calm down the elder that had been fired up so much that he was breathing deeply.

He really gave off the appearance of someone that had been holding back a lot.

She was touched and grateful for all the anguish he seemed to be feeling on her behalf and she felt the urge to comfort him.

For her, the shares of Zhang group were not important.

She had lived her whole life with nothing but her will, hands and feet supporting her.

The wealth of others was not something she was greedy for.

She leaned her body slightly against the elder and told him, “I don’t need their shares, grandfather, all i need is Zhang Caishen.” “Bah!” Grandpa Tai responded.

Alix shook him slightly, making childish ‘mmmm’ sounds from her throat.

“Grandpa, i want to go to Kids wonderworld, i have never been there.”  He perked up immediately and smiled.

If she needed something, he would as always drop whatever he was doing or discussing and attend to her.

“Really, my precious granddaughter, let’s go.” He turned around to take her where she wanted to go but first, he berated his eldest son.

“Heng, what kind of father are you?

Why has your daughter never been to kids wonderworld?

You should have brought her here long ago.”  Chairman Tai couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

He had made the suggestion but Alix turned him down claiming she was not a kid.

Why was he getting the blame for everything?

Auntie Mo could read her husband like a book.

The way he was looking, he was about to defend himself.

Rather than do that, she thought it would be best if they all just went to kids wonderland.

Alix would definitely look pretty in those crowns they sold.

Maybe she could convince her to wear a princess dress too, they had some for adults in case parents wanted to take theme based pictures with their children.

She looked at Alix and smiled.

Her child was bigger and older than the normal children that enjoyed kids wonderworld but she was her child nevertheless.

“We should have done that father-in-law, it was our mistake to forget to take our princess out to play but we are going to remedy that right now.”  She waved Alix over and first introduced her to the manager of the gallery and the buyer who often acquired paintings for them.

Alix also met the three gallery employees and the two guards, then, they all left and walked to wonderworld which was not far from them.

It was officially Alix’s day out and they would see to it that she had all the fun in the world.

******************************* Caishen’s meeting meanwhile ended and he tried to reach Alix by phone but failed so he called Bi Cang instead who told him that she was playing with her parents.

The bodyguard sent pictures and a video for evidence.

In the video, four adults were sitting in a pit of multicolored balls and throwing them at each other.

All of them were wearing Mulan themed outfits and Alix for some reason had a crown on her head which definitely didn’t match the theme.

Looking at his wife enjoying herself, he smiled.

From behind, the prosecutor general looked over his shoulder and saw what was making him smile.

“Perhaps you should look at pictures of your wife on your own time.” he suggested.

Caishen put his phone away.

Before he could form a proper response, Aang put his hand on his shoulder and teleported him away from his office.

He didn’t even have a moment to process what had happened and he found himself at the old Zhang mansion.

He was felt woozy and his legs were trembling but other than that, he was feeling considerably normal.

Aang and the prosecutor general showed up too, right next to him.

The prosecutor general was completely normal, having experienced this mode of transportation many times before.

“Hey, are you good?” Aang slapped Caishen on the back.

He shrugged the man’s hand away with a slight glare on his face.

“Warning, okay, warning.

What is wrong with you people that you don’t warn anybody before you do your system things?”  Alix just morphed into a dragon without a heads up and this one had just teleported him from his office to his grandparents house without so much as a heads up.

He really didn’t appreciate the surprise.

“You know other system hosts?” Aang asked.

“Of course he does, he is married to one.” The prosecutor general answered.

“Let’s not waste time out here, just take us to see Lai Yanfang.” The mansion which was normally monitored by Zhang family guards was now being monitored by bureau men and women.

Elder Zhang had been informed about Lai Yanfang’s transfer but not many details had been given to him.

He sent away all the servants, his wife and Nana especially because he didn’t want her knowing about the events taking place.

Even the Zhang family guards were not close enough to see anything that was taking place.

Caishen led the way inside, walking the men to the large room which served as a hospital on the mansion grounds.

Once upon a time, Caishen had been a resident in this room after leaving the hospital.

Perhaps it was why he hated the place intensely, because it brought him nothing but bad memories.

“Hmm, your family has thought of everything.” The prosecutor general commented as he looked around.

It was well stocked with medicine and all equipment for an emergency surgery was available.

It had two beds and Lai Yanfang was occupying one of them.

Aside from the tubes which were attached to her body, she appeared to be sleeping.

“She is unconscious.” Aang noted.

“She is brain dead.” Caishen shared.

“The moment she opened her mouth to talk about her system, she broke into spasms, convulsed and collapsed.

She was rushed here and the doctors declared her brain dead.” A woman that Aang had also teleported over stepped closer and examined Lai Yanfang.

When she was finished, she waved her hand and three people walked over.

They detached the medical devices, wrapped up Yanfang’s body and then Aang teleported them away.

In less than ten seconds, he returned and put his hand on the shoulder of the prosecutor general.

Before they could vanish away, the man had one last thing to say to Caishen.

“I guess we will be seeing you in the hidden city with a signed contract.”  Caishen responded by giving him a thumbs up.

“Can’t wait.”
