The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 431 - 431 The resident hair dresser

431: The resident hair dresser.

431: The resident hair dresser.

They all came to a mutual agreement and Tai Ho Sun fell on the sword for Alix.

If anybody asked, he was the one that had slapped Zijia.

Grandpa Tai would not have anyone believing that his Alix was anything but sweet and weak and in need of protection.

“Let’s all return to the party because guests will be looking for us and they will talk if we all stay here.” Grandpa Zhang reminded them.

So, one by one, they all left the room, leaving behind Alix, Caishen and auntie Mo.

It seemed like she wanted to speak to Alix and Alix similarly wanted to have a word with her.

Only Caishen was hesitant to leave, irrespective of the situation.

To him, if auntie Mo planned to side with her niece, that was it.

He would be getting his wife out of there immediately and he would not give the Tais another opportunity to come close to her.

Living under Lin Billi’s shadow had been enough.

He didn’t want her to live under another person’s shadow.

“Honey, i will come and find you later.” She looked down at him and assured him with her certain gaze.

She also squeezed his hand, gesturing that she was fine and she would be fine.

Caishen looked at auntie Mo first, shooting her a look of uncertainty before leaving.

As soon as the door closed Alix put her hands behind her back and she clenched them to hide the nervousness she was feeling.

At the end of the day, Zijia was auntie Mo’s niece, her biological blood.

She had just one question, was her mother mad at her or not?

“Mom….” She called softly.

“Are you angry?”  Auntie Mo slowly walked from the side of the bed where she had been standing all along quietly and approached Alix.

First, she took the cat from her hands and put it on the bed.

Then, she reached for Alix’s hands.

She brought the hands up, towards her face and looked at them.

Carefully, she examined both the back and front.

“Did you hurt yourself?” she asked.

Alix shook her head.

“No…..”  As she was replying, she recalled professor He’s advise, the one one about allowing auntie Mo to have more opportunities to act as her mother.

“I mean, it hurt.

I think i might have injured my wrist.”  Her hand which was strong suddenly went limp and she added an extra pout to her lips.

It almost seemed as if her wrist bones had gone nonexistent.

A feeling of guilt flashed through Mo Qilu’s body and squeezed her heart.

She thought that the events which had happened were her fault as she had given Alix a heads up about Zijia and Pi’er.

If she had , Alix would have avoided Zijia.

She also felt like she should have stood firmer with her father and insisted on Zijia and Pi’er not attending Alix’s special party.

Even though Pi’er had not done anything, she had no doubt that her other niece would find a way to create trouble for Alix too.

Auntie Mo suddenly hugged Alix and patted her back gently and reassured her in a soft voice.

“I am sorry that you encountered such a misfortune on your big day.

I shouldn’t have invited them but my dad insisted on having them here.

I will never be mad at you for protecting yourself from anyone, it doesn’t matter who it is.

No mother would wish for her child to encounter danger and i know first hand what a terrible character Zijia is.

If you ever meet her again and she antagonizes you, feel free to beat her up or run to me.

I, your mother will stand between you and danger like a great wall.” Alix felt touched, and once again, her emotions rose to the surface.

“Mother…” she cried out.

Sniveling sounds escaped her as she tried to hold back the tears.

She had well and truly managed to turn into a crybaby, which was not usual for her.

She couldn’t even understand herself.

Auntie Mo’s hands moved to Alix’s head and she gently stroked her hair while trying not to dislodge the hair pins.

“My pretty baby, mother loves you so much.

How can i be angry with you?

How can i stand with my niece instead of my own daughter?”  “Will you be in trouble with your father for this?

I don’t think they will believe brother’s claim.”  Auntie Mo shrugged.

“I warned my brother not to send his daughters and he forced my hand.

Whatever has happened is Jia Jia’s fault.

Besides, she attacked my daughter.

If anyone has the right to be angry it’s me and i will be making that very clear if they try to make this a big deal.”  Mother and daughter were still embracing when the daughter was opened and two of Caishen’s walked in.

One of course happened to be Mo Sen.

The two men went straight for the woman on the bed but they paused when they reached her.

This was because they were surprised by Zijia’s appearance.

While Alix and her mother had been hugging, they had all but forgotten about Majesty.

The trouble making cat had been very busy giving Zijia a hair cut.

Half of her hair was gone now, and only half remained, starting from the middle of her head.

The cat was still going, using it’s claws to cut the hair away slowly.

It was a surprise that the one whose hair was being destroyed was still sleeping.

Some of the hair looked like it had been pulled out by the roots.

How had she slept through something that was bound to be painful?

Mo Sen covered his mouth and guffawed.

After guffawing, he reached down to remove the cat but Majesty, the resident hair dresser hissed at him.

Mo Sen quickly pulled his hand back.

Everyone that worked for the Zhang family knew just how dangerous the cat was.

You could play around with Baby but Majesty had to be handled with gloves.

“Young madam, i think you should retrieve your cat.”  Alix and auntie Mo separated, giving Alix the opportunity to see what her cat had been up to.

As soon as she was Zijia’s partially hairless head, she gasped.

“Majesty!” she cried out.

She pointed at the cat which had a proud smirk on it’s face and groaned.

“Bad kitty, bad, bad kitty.”  Meow, meow, meow.

“How is this worse than what you did?” the cat questioned.

“You, Arrrrghhh” Alix groaned.

She turned and looked at her mother.

If the slap was going to cause her trouble with her family then this….Alix had no idea where to begin.

Auntie Mo had a hand over her mouth, a smile on her face and astonishment in her eyes.

“Mother, what should we do?”  To her surprise, auntie Mo remained calm.

She got her phone and snapped a picture of Zijia.

Then she turned Alix in the direction of the door but not before grabbing Majesty forcefully, despite his loud protests.

“Let’s go.

If anybody asks, your brother Fong shaved her hair.”  When they left the room, the bodyguards covered a sheet over Zijia and snuck her out of the party.
