The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 428 - 428 Green for jealousy

428: Green for jealousy.

428: Green for jealousy.

After a very satisfactory nap, Lin Billi opened her eyes and immediately recalled that she had slept off shortly after finding out that things had gone terribly wrong for Alix at the violin competition.

She sat up and stretched her arms, testing their flexibility and healing pace before getting a hold of her phone which was under the second pillow on the bed.

“I bet that bitch is crying in a corner somewhere.” she smiled sinisterly.

Her fingers were still weak and trembling, and the doctors had advised her not to use them for anything other than approved exercises and rehabilitation.

However, Billi couldn’t stay off social media.

She was very obsessed with knowing every move Alix made so that she could intervene and drag her down.

The door opened a new caretaker that had been hired by her mother came in with fresh food ordered from the Oriental hotel.

Billi didn’t even look up at the caretaker as she was so excited to see the news about Alix’s failure.

With this humiliation, she was certain that Alix would give up on competing and return to being a simple teacher.

She would go back to composing for her, just as she used to.

Billi tapped the hash tag national violin competition competition.

Before she could read the related comments online, a fork of spaghetti was shoved before her eyes.

“Miss, it’s time for you to eat.”  “Move.” rudely, she responded.

The fork was retrieved and Bili smiled like a demoness.

She was practically salivating as she anticipated what she would see.

“Little superwoman should be super violinist.”  The very first post that she saw caused her heart to skip a beat.

It wasn’t bad, it seemed to be praise for Alix.

“Miss, the doctor told you not to…” Scrolling furiously, Billi yelled, “Shut up you useless thing.”  Anger, despair and a whole lot of other negative emotions filled her as she scrolled more and more only to realize that Alix had not crumbled and run off to hide as she expected.

She had risen above the hiccup and excelled.

She was the winner of the national violin for this year.

Unwilling but curious, Billi opened a video on the official page of the national page competition.

Her right hand twitched and protested against being forced to function normally before it was prepared but Billi ignored the pain and pressed play.

Beautiful music poured into the room.

Anybody else would be happy to listen to it but Billi wasn’t.

“No, no, noooo…..” she screamed.

Rage filled her and sent her heart into frenzied palpitations.

She used the last of her strength to hurl her phone at the wall.

Because she was still lacking in strength, it didn’t make it to the wall but fell at the foot of the bed.

The caretaker was puzzled and she covered up the food.

First, she dialed Jing Hee with her own phone and then picked up Billi’s phone from the ground.

“Miss, what’s wrong?” she approached the bed as she asked worriedly.

She had been warned about Billi’s erratic behavior and it worried her.

If her employer, Jing Hee found Billi in an unsatisfactory condition, she would be fired.

Jing Hee was not picking and Bili’s screams were getting louder.

The care taker had no idea what to do so she went out and called a doctor.

********************* Back at the Tai family house, the party had been going on for three hours and so far, nothing had gone wrong.

Alix didn’t even know about Billi and she was celebrating with her new family.

Grandpa Tai had brought out her new violin shaped trophy and put it up for everyone to see.

Alix was both happy and embarrassed at this party, but it was a good kind of embarrassment which was a result of her family bragging too much about her.

At the moment, all the guests were eating, enjoying the delicious feast that had been prepared by the best chefs grandma Tai could find in the country.

Because Alix loved sweet things, they had even hired the best pastry and dessert chefs in the country.

She excused herself from the table with a plan to visit one of the guest bathrooms.

Majesty followed her and the cat kept up with her, matching her pace as she walked as elegantly as she could.

Some of the guests took pictures of them, finding the pair interesting.

Before she could make it to the bathroom however, someone stopped her by planting themselves in her way.

It was a woman, around her age.

She was wearing a white dress which had yellow flowers on the hem.

On top of the dress, she had thrown on a long yellow fur coat.

She had these shouting sparkly earrings which had been part of the TFK’s winter jewelry line.

She was pretty, but there was an arrogance in her beauty.

Something about it made Alix dislike her instantly.

“We haven’t been introduced yet.” she laughed.

Alix couldn’t understand why she was laughing.

Also, she didn’t need a personal introduction because she already recognized the woman.

She was Mo Zijia, or Jia Jia as she was called by everyone that knew her.

She was also one of auntie Mo’s nieces, and the very woman that wanted so much to be adopted into the Tai family.

Alix stepped to the side and replied.

“There must be a reason for that.” Mo Zijia stepped back and planted herself in front of Alix again, blocking her path.

She opened her mouth to say something but a waiter passed by with a tray of drinks so she held in what she wanted to say.

As soon as he was out of earshot, Mo Zijia sneered at Alix.

“Trash like you doesn’t belong to a family like ours.”  Alix folded her arms across her chest and she smirked.

It seemed like professor He’s advise would have to be ignored for a little while.

There was no way she was going to allow someone call her trash and get away with it easily.

“Oh yeah, which family do you speak of?

I am Tai and you are a Mo so unless your sur name has changed, we don’t belong to the same family.”  “What?” Alix pushed her head forward and she said, “Mo Zijia, you are jealous of me, right?

You are the one that has been taking advantage of my mother the most, leveraging your time to solicit for presents and monetary rewards from her.

Between you and me, who is the trash here because i think you are the trash.”  She sniffed the air around the woman and scoffed.

“You even smell like trash__, rotten trash.

Did you forget to brush in the morning or are you allergic to soap and water?” Mo Zijia was successfully angered so she raised her hand suddenly and it seemed like she was about to slap Alix.
