Chapter 395 - 395 Grandpa's crazy ideas
395: Grandpa’s crazy ideas.
395: Grandpa’s crazy ideas.
A special taxi showed up outside the Tai house, and it was carrying Alix.
When she alighted from the car, she was carrying a box of small cats and another with a few puppies was still inside.
As soon as her bodyguards who had been waiting anxiously saw her, they went to her and one of them took the box with the kittens from her.
Majesty darted out of the taxi and went on ahead, very unhappy because he had been made to sit besides the puppies that kept pushing their wet noses into his glorious fur.
“There is another box inside, be careful, it has puppies.” she said.
Bi Cang went around her and he took the box of puppies out of the taxi.
The taxi driver had been paid as soon as they arrived so he started his car and left mumbling something about better not finding animal poop in his car.
Uncle Ju accompanied Alix as she walked on the well lit footpath leading up to the house.
He couldn’t help looking at her with worry filled eyes and saying what was on his mind.
“Young madam, you cannot keep running away like that or you will send us all to an early grave.” It was hard enough to catch up with her when she was running because she was faster than them all but when she switched off her phone, removed her watch and made it difficult for them to track her, it gave everyone a headache.
“Sorry uncle Ju, i just needed to pick these up really quickly before they started making a fuss.
Just listen to the sound of the kittens crying.
They are starving, it’s so pitiful.” She turned her head around and looked at the four bodyguards for three seconds.
“Why don’t i treat you guys to something special, after all, i am spending the night at my parents house.
I am very safe so you can all go out, eat and return to fetch me at around eight in the morning.” She touched her pockets and handed uncle Ju a few thousand yuan.
“Here, treat the guys to some steak as an apology.” “No, young madam…” Uncle Ju attempted to grab her hands and hand her back the money.
“The young master said that we should keep an eye on you at all times.
it’s not very safe right now, this business with miss Lai Yanfang is not good.” “I insist.” she pushed his hands back.
“Unless Lai Yanfang plans to fight through my family’s security all is well here.
I am ordering you all to go out, eat something good and then return home.” She quickened her steps and hurried into the house before he could stop her again.
The sound of happy loud voices welcomed her.
Everyone was already fussing over the dogs and cats as expected.
She found them in the living room, bent over the open boxes.
Even her younger brothers were there and a few of the animals had already been picked up.
“Mother, i am back.” She walked in a straight line towards auntie Mo that was petting the head of a small mixed brown and white green eyed kitten “Why do you only call for your father?” Grandpa grabbed her by the hand before she could make it to auntie Mo.
“When you were leaving, you only told your mother and now that you are back, it’s the same way.” She couldn’t explain the natural instinct in her to call out for auntie Mo first so she put her arm through one of grandpa’s arms and they approached the pets.
Alix had brought one for everyone, including those that were not around.
On the night of Zhang Bo’s inauguration, they had made a list of the pets they wanted between cats and dogs and she had promised to give them the pets as they desired.
On Tai Wong had a different request.
He wanted a turtle but Alix had not come across anyone selling turtles in the gaming world.
She had seen birds, cats, dogs, snakes, rats and other weird creatures which didn’t exist on earth.
“Come, you should eat first.
Your mother saved all the best chicken legs for you.
I want your opinion on the party which we are planning for your introduction to the world as my granddaughter.
How grand do you want it to be?
I am thinking that we should book the entire Ocean world hotel for that day.
There must be fireworks and all your paintings should be on display.
You should have an extravagant entrance, like on a horse.” “A horse!” “Yes, or is it too simple.
How about a helicopter?” Grandpa Tai nodded, agreeing with himself.
“Yes, a helicopter is definitely better.
What color do you want the helicopter, pink or white?
I wonder if we can add gemstones to it’s wings.
That would make it unique, right?” “Grandpa, that’s too extravagant and too flashy.” she cried out.
“Let’s make it a whole fleet of helicopters.
If a group of black helicopters accompanies you in a pink jeweled one, it will be more visually stunning.” They sat down at the table and Alix was served her food.
Grandpa Tai continued talking, sharing his unique and out of this world ideas.
“We should hire every billboard and those big televisions on the side of every building all over the country and only show footage of your entrance.” He was so caught up in the picture he was painting of her grand party that he didn’t wait for her to answer.
In fact, he didn’t sound like he was asking but informing her.
“Your father and i are working on this beautiful…..” he folded his lips together suddenly and stopped talking.
Apparently, there was something he was unwilling to share.
Alix could tell that it was a surprise and she didn’t ask.
“Do you think we can get someone that cooks for the leader of our country to come and head the chefs on that day?
Having such a individual cooking for your party will bring so much prestige.
People will talk about the food and the party for years to come.” Alix munched on corn and nodded along with whatever her grandfather was saying.
“Do you think we can get someone from the royal family of England to come?
Should we make it the royal family of Thailand?
I know someone from their family.
It was not publicized but i was the one who made the engagement rings for their royal prince.
I think i can send some nice rare jewelry and an invitation.
Even if they can’t make it, maybe they will send a representative.” Alix nodded.
She would not intervene until he exhausted all of his ideas.
Hopefully, everyone would come together and reign him in later.
“Maybe we should lease the entire forbidden city for a day.” he suggested.
Alix choked on the chicken thigh and she grabbed a glass of water.
After taking two sips and calming herself, she shouted.
“Mother, father, you better come quickly.” In the virtual world meanwhile, the system elf had extracted Lai Yanfang’s body.
It attached a small device to the back of Yanfang’s head.
“Let’s see, system activate.” it said.
Lai Yanfang’s eyes opened abruptly and she gasped.
She was drowsy and confused, unaware of where she was.
“So you do have a system, a body enhancement system.
It has potential and yet you misused it so much that it hasn’t developed in three years.
It will be a shame if i leave it in your hands or simply let it die along with you.” The blue elf laughed.
