Su Yan was walking along the corridor when someone suddenly appeared in front of her.

She almost bumped into them.

She stopped and saw who it was, and a gentle smile appeared on her face.

"Jiang Ran"

Her voice was soft, just like her personality.

He looked at Su Yan, his usually fierce expression softening a bit.

"Where are you going?"

"The chemistry teacher wants me to see him."

Regret flashed in Jiang Ran’s eyes; he thought she was coming to see him.

He didn’t speak, which made both of them fall into silence.

"Is there anything you want to say to me?"

Su Yan blinked her eyes, recalling the conversation she had with Yao Yufei at the stairway.

"Uh... do you have someone you like?"

Jiang Ran listened and laughed.

He bent down, moving closer to Su Yan.

They were very close, his breath, with a hint of aggressiveness, entwined in her breathing space.

His eyes were dark, with a bit of playfulness and an uncontrollable heat.

"Yes"

Jiang Ran was a little dissatisfied with her calm reaction.

He reached out and tugged at the bow tie around her neck,

Every time he spoke, he leaned a little closer, and with each word, he moved in a bit more.

Su Yan asked while chewing the candy.

"What do you think I said?"

After a while, the agitation in his heart finally calmed down.

Then, he spoke,

"Weren’t you going to see the teacher in the office? Go on."

He reached out, gently pushed her back to urge her forward.

She looked back at Jiang Ran.

He stood there, hands in pockets, wearing his school uniform with a rebellious and lazy air.

The sunlight poured down, making him quite noticeable.

Chewing on the strawberry milk candy in her mouth, she thought about the chemistry teacher’s instructions and turned to head toward the office.

After watching her almost reach the office, Jiang Ran turned to head back to his class.

Standing at the entrance of the office, Su Yan thought about her encounter with Jiang Ran and found it a bit inexplicable.
