The world has turned into Hell's Game, why should I stay human? -
Chapter 413 - 354_2
Chapter 413: 354_2
If I ever really become a city person, it’d be in the second or third generation.
"Speaking of which, you guys have a ’whatcha looking at’ mechanism, right?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"Yeah. Why, you wanna try it out?"
"Since I’m already here, I gotta experience this interesting local feature. Besides, it’s been a while since I’ve been surrounded by those kinds of looks, kinda pisses me off."
His figure had unknowingly swelled, and the blood oozing from the cracked skin was reabsorbed by his body before it could drip, staining only his robe red.
Clearly, his "quick temper" was acting up again.
"Sure, we can play, but don’t go too hard. After all, we’re open for business here, and dead folks are bad for luck."
The Old Fourth hesitated before saying.
He obviously didn’t actually want the other party to play ’whatcha looking at,’ because it was way too uncontrollable.
Though residents of Metropolis were hard-hearted and ruthless, not all were murderous psychos."’
There are more deceivers than arsonists and killers.
Especially those who come to Bathhouse Street to spend money, most have some status and wouldn’t needlessly risk their lives.
Even those in the chopping head business couldn’t compete with Bloody Restaurant delivery guys who killed on command.
"Don’t worry, I’ll be careful."
Liu Zheng nodded and then extended a tentacle toward a customer.
"You, prematurely aged one, what are you looking at?"
"You talking to me?"
The customer pointed at himself, a sneer on his face.
"Yes, talking to you. Young and not learning good things, why follow others in dyeing white hair?"
He pointed at the other’s hair as he spoke.
"Where you from, bumpkin? Can’t even tell if hair is dyed or not. If your eyes are busted, grandpa here can piss a stream for you to wash your eyes."
The white-haired customer mocked.
"Oh, you mean to say, you were born with half of your hair black, and half white?"
"Of course, people from our clan all have hair like this. Don’t even know this, what dung heap did you, the dung beetle, roll out from?"
The white-haired customer cursed again.
"Not bad with the insults. Could your foul language be extracted to form a ’Local Swear Word Collection’?"
Liu Zheng said intriguingly.
He remembered buying a "Swear Word Collection" from a newsstand owner, which targeted racial insults but did not describe directly provoking the other party’s hatred.
If this guy’s cursing could be extracted like editing a security tape, and combined with "Swear Word Collection," it might just upgrade into a high-quality control tool.
"What are you talking about?"
The half-white-haired customer asked with a puzzled look, feeling somewhat uneasy.
"You don’t even know that, you should drown yourself in your own shit to avoid embarrassing yourself out here."
Liu Zheng mocked back in the same manner.
"Manager Four, this guy is spouting crap, aren’t you going to do something?"
The half-white-haired customer asked Old Fourth.
"There’s nothing I can do about it, you were the one who looked first, so according to our rules here, you guys have to settle the rest yourselves."
Old Fourth shrugged."
"We are talking business here, don’t drag others into this. I’m asking you, do you have a relative working as a security guard in Green Garden Mad City?"
Liu Zheng asked."
"Yeah, that’s my second brother, why?"
"Close relationship?"
"Cousins, but we’ve been close since we were kids, just like real brothers."
The half-white-haired customer said.
"Well, since we’re practically family, looking happened, looking happened. Later I’ll have someone prepare a few dishes, and you brothers can catch up."
Seeing the situation, Old Fourth hastily said.
Although ’whatcha looking at’ is a feature of Ga Ga Shuang Bathhouse, and buying a ticket implies acceptance of this mechanism, he didn’t always want to see this mechanism triggered, like now.
"No need to catch up, I know his brother well, not him."’
Liu Zheng shook his head."
"What’s your relationship with my second brother?"
The half-white-haired customer asked.
"Hasn’t your brother mentioned me?"
"Nope, my brother hasn’t been home for years, and when he calls, he only boasts about how well he’s doing in the city, never mentioned someone like you."
The half-white-haired customer eyed him suspiciously.
"Oh, that figures. He definitely can’t mention me when he’s boasting to you guys, though he might if he were complaining."
Liu Zheng pretended to realize suddenly.
"What’s the deal?"
"Me and your brother, we are life-and-death buddies. I nearly sent him over, and he nearly killed me too."
He said with a smile.
"So, you have a beef with my second brother. No wonder you talk crap. Today I’ll take revenge for him. Choose, kid, are we drinking or fighting? I’m game for either."
The half-white-haired customer declared proudly.
"Forget starting a fight, I’m just visiting, not here to cause trouble. If I did kick things off, I’d dirty the floor, and Manager Four would have to get someone to clean it up."
Liu Zheng shook his head.
"Pah, you couldn’t even beat my second brother, and you think you can kill me? Let me tell you, though I might not be as smart as my brother, I’m far better in a fight."
The half-white-haired guest spoke disdainfully.
"Heh, ever heard the saying ’do not judge a man if only three days have passed?’"
"What’s that mean?"
"I’m not sure how good you are in a fight, but you’re definitely not too bright. Hey, isn’t that your brother coming over there?"
Liu Zheng feigned shock.
"What?"
The half-white-haired guest turned around in surprise, only to see an innocent-looking horse-faced person.
"You dare to trick me, grandpa!"
He spun back around, only to see the gleaming blade aimed directly at his heart and lungs.
The half-white hair on his head exploded outwards like a startled porcupine.
The white hairs stood up like steel needles, while the black ones bent like steel wires.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
The blade moved relentlessly forward, the sound of metal breaking was incessant, like the snapping of strings on a piano.
"Damn it!"
The half-white-haired man cursed inwardly, resenting the sneak attack and amazed by the sharpness of the blade.
You should know, their clan’s power all lies in their hair, and his was known to be among the toughest of the younger generation.
When erect, even a chainsaw wouldn’t hope to cut through his hair immediately.
Yet, the hair as hard as steel seemed no different from bamboo under the opponent’s blade.
"Grandpa’s going all out now!"
Facing the threat of decapitation, the half-white-haired guest tore open his bathrobe.
A palm-sized patch of chest hair was exposed, thick as a forest.
He puffed out his chest, and the chest hair shot out rapidly.
The sharp sound of them tearing through the air had barely started when they had all embedded into Liu Zheng’s body.
Despite his high perception of over dozens of points, he couldn’t react in time.
"Die, grandpa!"
The half-white-haired guest panted heavily and snapped his fingers.
The chest hair inside Liu Zheng’s body exploded, blowing a huge hole through his upper body.
Not just the internal organs, even the spine was shattered to bits.
"Hahaha, serves you right for stirring up trouble without the skills!"
The half-white-haired guest laughed loudly.
"Manager Four, he was the one who attacked first. This doesn’t count as breaking the rules, right?"
He said to Old Four smugly.
"Of course it doesn’t count, but maybe you should take another look. It seems he’s not dead yet."
Old Four kindly reminded him.
"What?"
The half-white-haired guest was stunned for a moment, then quickly looked back at Liu Zheng.
There he saw the man he thought was dead, looking back at him calmly, his spine even seemed to have realigned itself.
"It seems your brother never mentioned me to you, otherwise you’d know not to pop the champagne too early."
Liu Zheng reached out a tentacle and pressed it against his head.
The half-white-haired guest tried to struggle, but having just used his major move, he was somewhat disoriented and utterly unable to resist.
"Say goodbye to your hair."
Liu Zheng moved the boning knife swiftly, and strands of black and white hair fluttered down.
"No!"
The half-white-haired guest wailed in despair.
In their clan, hair was both power and prestige.
To be shorn was as good as social death on the spot.
"Leave one, brother, please, just leave me one!"
Seeing that Old Four wasn’t intervening, he quickly begged for mercy.
"What’s the use of leaving one?"
Liu Zheng kept cutting as he spoke.
"As long as I have one hair, I’m not bald!"
The half-white-haired guest exclaimed loudly.
"Makes sense. I’ll leave one, but you’ll have to do me a favor."
He said.
"Anything you want, just don’t make me bald."
The half-white-haired guest hurriedly responded.
"Good. Call your brother for me, I have some questions for him."
Liu Zheng put away his boning knife and casually took the last tuft of hair from his head, leaving just a single white hair in the middle.
