The Witcher – Uchiha Madara! -
Chapter 200 – A Conversation About Plans.
[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]
Third Person POV
Kaedwen.

...
"Madara...", Yennefer murmured, letting the words slip like the wind.
"You've returned," she added.
"Not necessarily, but let's talk about it..." Madara replied.
Yennefer nodded carefully. When she turned her gaze to the side, she saw Coral, who was still there, frozen, staring directly at Madara, but her eyes were flickering—she wasn't conscious.
"You put her in an illusion?" she stated more than asked.
"Yes. I've been avoiding these sorceresses the whole time, they're quite persistent... especially this one," he said in a neutral tone, though there was a certain distaste in his voice.
He clearly didn't like Coral; Yennefer noticed that immediately.
"Which is no surprise, right? Considering you drew so much attention here, they're already speculating that you destroyed those camps with your 'fire jutsus'..." she remarked.
"I had no choice. I knew this would happen the moment I got involved in this, so I let loose a bit, but things got a little out of hand with the non-humans starting to imprison the humans... Either way, this doesn't just compromise me but also... you know what." He spoke in a serious tone.
"Kaer Morhen..." Yennefer said. "So Ciri is there, with Geralt. So she's safe?" she asked.
"Yes. She's safe," he replied calmly. He paused briefly before continuing.
"Anyway, I'll be heading back to Kaer Morhen starting today... Things aren't out of control, with half the non-humans already out of Kaedwen in the past month..." he said.
"You know they'll come after you soon, right? And Kaer Morhen will be the next place they investigate. Something they haven't done in almost two years. But after what happened to King Henselt... The events here will surely have eyes fixed across the country, along with the rumors about what happened at the witcher school... they'll be the target..." Yennefer said with a serious tone.
"Yes, but that's already happened anyway," Madara replied.
"After all, Vilgefortz has been trying to retaliate against the witcher school even before all this mess began. He was the one who encouraged the king to attack Kaer Morhen, saying he could find traces of my whereabouts there, discover the truth about the attack on the non-humans after invading the royal castle..." he said, as Yennefer raised an eyebrow.
"Vilgefortz?! So he's alive..." she murmured, surprised by that. After all, the sorcerer was supposed to be dead, according to what everyone had declared, with no news of him since the attack on his tent on the eve of the Battle of Sodden, at its climax, even though his body was never found.
"Yes. He contacted the court mage. He was working with him." Madara spoke as a breeze swept over them in that field, while ashes lifted from the ground, giving the setting a somewhat grim tone as he and Yennefer stood face to face.
"Detmold, the same one you killed?" she murmured, and Madara nodded.
"Yes, he caused all the mess in that city a month ago... I got some information from him. There are a few clues about where Vilgefortz might be, but I'll have to search for him personally. Maybe it's the ideal time to leave Kaer Morhen and travel a bit across the continent, plant clues so that hostile eyes immediately leave the witcher school alone," Madara said.
"I see..." she murmured before looking at him again with some hesitation in her own words, as curiosity was getting the best of Yennefer.
"Madara. I know I still have a year or so to read that letter, but... I might end up finding out exactly what really happened," she commented, feeling something was missing inside her. With her memory altered, it left a certain agony in her.
Her tone was friendlier than usual, without her usual arrogance when speaking to Madara, almost pleading with him.
Madara seemed thoughtful, but finally nodded. Even though he had said she would soon know, he decided to grant her request.
Quickly, he looked at her with his Sharingan activated and, in an instant, Yennefer fell into an illusion without being able to resist, just like Coral had fallen under the effect of his eyes.
In it, he inserted all the memories again — of everything that had happened, along with the time spent between Madara, Ciri, and the rest of the witcher school during the past year, and more information.
While they trained, he showed some memories — not the training itself, but enough in detail, including the attack and even Triss at the castle.
"I see... Your illusions still scare me..." Yennefer murmured.
"So you never left... Well, I figured as much," she said at last.
"And Triss is at Kaer Morhen..." She said that sounding a bit hurt that she wasn't the one called, as Madara could tell.
At the same time, Madara also gathered some information. He wanted to know exactly what had happened and who the people watching her were, since she was clearly being observed, with all the kings quite eager to know her whereabouts or any folder.
"You have some interesting people after you... and even some who work for Vilgefortz," Madara murmured, thoughtful.
"Who are you talking about?"
"The mage you saw in that town south of Lyria, eight months ago. You met him, and he greeted you while looking for some ingredients, which took you by surprise..." Madara informed.
"Him?" she murmured, puzzled. "He didn't seem like he was watching me."
"It's too much of a coincidence. Him finding you there and even trying to read your mind — you know that. And it wasn't just the usual habit of mages... He really wanted to extract information from you and even tried to follow you. But you vanished before he could track you," he said, seeing through Yennefer's memories things even the sorceress herself hadn't noticed.
"I see... So that's bad..." she murmured, believing Madara's words.
"No. It's not. Actually, it's great for me. It's a chance to get a lead on where Vilgefortz is," Madara said, and she nodded, understanding his reasoning.
"Anyway, I'll have to leave Kaer Morhen with Ciri for a while," Madara said.
"Please... then let me shelter them this time," Yennefer quickly asked.
Madara looked at her and liked the idea.
He really didn't think it was a bad option.
"Triss is at Kaer Morhen. I'll check how things are there and discuss it with Ciri... or with Triss. As soon as everything's ready, I'll contact you," he said, and she felt it — knowing Triss was there, she could use her magical equipment for that.
"Just be careful not to have someone still spying. It'll be bad, with all the organizations hunting us like wolves. If they discover our true whereabouts, Ciri still can't protect herself alone," Madara said, and Yennefer nodded, understanding.
"Yes... I'll take care of it, Madara," Yennefer said, as Madara pulled his hood back on and began to turn away. He had passed on some other information that hadn't been spoken aloud — after all, it was a conversation inside the illusion, so he didn't need to say anything more to her.
"Madara, wait," she raised her hand to him.
Madara stopped, turning his face to her, though she couldn't see him under the hood.
But she seemed hesitant, and in the end, said nothing. She just lowered her hand.
"It's nothing... I hope to see you soon along with Geralt and Ciri..." she said, as Madara nodded and turned, starting to run off, disappearing into the trees.
"Let's see if I'm really living an illusion you mock me with, Yennefer..." Coral's voice sounded again beside her, as the sorceress looked ahead, blinking slowly, appearing dazed as she came out of the illusion Madara had placed her under.
She unexpectedly turned to look at Yennefer, standing there, a little different from the position she had been in just a moment ago, according to what she remembered — after all, the illusion had frozen her and she didn't even remember seeing the Sharingan, with Madara erasing that from her memory, bringing her back exactly to the point where she had still been arguing with Yennefer.
"What... happened here?" Coral asked immediately, knowing something was wrong.
"Nothing," Yennefer said efficiently, turning and giving her back to Coral, continuing to investigate the place — or at least pretending to, now that she knew exactly who the members of the organization called Akatsuki were, with Madara creating clones.
Coral stood there, still narrowing her eyes as she watched the black-haired sorceress walk away.
'Why did you create this group? What does this Akatsuki mean?'
She, in the illusion Madara had created, hadn't failed to ask when they were in a space separated from the real world.
'This world is full of chaos and disorder. Something needs to be done about it. That's why I'm creating an organization to fight for what I believe in. Maybe, if I can change the world into a place where people can understand each other... I'll be satisfied,' Madara said, while Yennefer was surprised and even touched by those words, not expecting something like that coming from his always stoic and serious personality.
[I will build such a world.]
That sentence echoed in Yennefer's mind as she continued walking through the ashes and destruction caused by Madara's jutsu.
She still remembered that memory — or prophecy — very well, the one she had seen through Geralt many years ago... and those eyes.
'Will he have new eyes?' she wondered. She hadn't seen Madara's Mangekyō Sharingan yet, but even if she had, she found the pattern a bit different, not as complete as the red eye she had seen before... that purple eye.
She kept investigating the place for a few more hours, ignoring Coral's tense gaze on her.
Despite that, she found it amusing and even wanted to laugh at the other sorceress. After all, Coral had been, until recently, declaring that she would make Madara stay by her side, while she had been made a fool of... without even realizing it.
It was likely that Madara could easily control her. In fact, Yennefer couldn't help but wonder if he didn't already have enough power to dominate the entire continent. But even so, he was thinking about Ciri and knew it could be dangerous for her.
After that, Yennefer returned with the other sorceresses to the mansion in the city, while they talked and discussed a few things — both about the search for the Akatsuki members, who had already left the region, and about Madara, who made all the camps disappear, as well as other external matters, things about sorceresses.
Yennefer went to her room and lay on the bed. She would stay there for a few more days, saying she would investigate the place, while already planning to head to Kaer Morhen afterward, visiting her old friends as soon as Triss called her.
Since Madara had let her go, she saw no problem, even with the letter and all. She wanted to see Geralt again. And Ciri too.
Another illusion that Madara had shown — the hunchbacked girl that reminded her of her own childhood — also caught her attention, and she wanted to see who had caught Madara's attention.
Meanwhile, Madara kept moving north for an entire day. And even as night fell, he continued onward, running over the trees and even across the fields — until he finally reached the valley, in the middle of the morning, not failing to open a small smile as he advanced toward the castle of Kaer Morhen.
