Procrastination is a fucking bad thing and maybe that Is what I have been doing for weeks. I mean, can you blame me. With everything that has happened. I don’t want to have to deal with that drama anymore.

I got so relaxed after the mating ceremony that I completely put it out of my mind. I let go of the haunting, the scares and the fact that we have to go back to the coven. Blue hasn’t said anything about it and I can tell that he doesn’t want to go back to that place. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with his mother and just knowing that she is still alive scares him.

I don’t want to be the one to bring it up but I know we have to eventually figure this out. Just because I haven’t seen the ghosts again doesn’t mean they aren’t still there.

After the mating ritual we kind of lost track of everything. We didn’t even talk about Analise. He hasn’t even asked me anything about it and I think he is hoping that I will stop seeing the ghosts. This is something that he doesn’t want to deal with and I can’t blame him.

My eyes are open as I hear Blue’s alarm go off. He sets his alarm for five in the morning every day. This is his routine, wake up, go for a run, and then make breakfast for us.

He is usually the first person to wake up every morning.

He is quick to shut off the alarm and I hear him shuffling on the bed as quietly as he can. I know what he is going to do next. Kiss Rex and then me. He does this every morning.

Even when we are asleep.

I hear his footsteps as he comes over to my side of the bed. His eyes meet mine immediately "You’re awake,’’ he manages in a soft whisper.

There is a wave of heat as we stare into each other’s eyes. Then he kisses me. He kisses me as if he is going to never stop and I want to keep him.

I run my hands along his back and over his shoulders. He takes the covers off and opens his arms for me. I don’t hesitate to climb into his embrace. I feel alive with him. He releases a heavy sigh as I feel him pull away from my mouth "We shouldn’t wake Rex up.’’ he whispers.

Rex is tucked in the corner of the bed; his breath and chest rising and falling with his sleep. His hand is across his chest. I smile to myself.

"Do you want to go for a run with me?’’ he adds.

I shake my head even though going for a run might be a good thing right now. I have been thinking about Analise and the coven since yesterday and I know I need to bring it up. I am the one that kept seeing Eleanor. She came to me, so I have to be the one to bring it up even though I know this is something that Blue is not ready for.

"You sure?’’ he asks me again.

I nod as he pulls away from me completely. Rex shuffles on the bed but he doesn’t wake up.

"I’ll probably get some coffee instead of going for a run. I’m still kind of tired.’’ I tell him.

Without another word, he starts to dress. I hear him shuffling things around and then he leaves the bedroom.

I watch him leave and then I fall down to my pillow. Rex starts to wake up but he doesn’t move. I grab his hand and he looks at me blinking. A slow smile sprawls to his face as he nuzzles closer to me "Hi,’’ he says softly.

"Morning babe,’’ I say back as I kiss his forehead. He looks at me and I could swear that his eyes are a little brighter. I hear the front door close and I know Blue is out of the house. I look out of the window and it is still dark out. We have about an hour before the sun comes out.

I don’t even want to get out of bed. Rex reaches for me and I watch him as he plays with the strands of hair on my face. My eyes remain on him as he softly kisses my neck and I can’t help but sigh as he does so. I feel his body grow heavy beside me as he continues to kiss me.

"You’re so beautiful,’’ he whispers into my ear. I kiss him again. He pulls away from me and starts to slide his tongue into my mouth.

I concentrate only on him and I don’t think. I just let my body go with the feeling of his lips on my tongue. He nibbles on my lips and I start to move my hips. I grab his shirt and pull him to me.

We continue to kiss and I feel him grow hard.

I slowly pull the shirt off his body. His skin is so soft and I want to touch it. I run a hand down his stomach and my fingertips drift across his abs. I grab his shorts and slowly pull them down. I can feel his arousal through the fabric.

I kiss his neck softly before getting around to his side. I slowly make my way up his body. I kiss his chest and then his face. He grabs my hips and gently pushes me up to him.

I feel my lips on his as he runs his fingers through my hair. I run my hands along his arms once again. I know this is not the time for this. We have a lot going on but in the spur of the moment, all I want right now is to fuck him.

It seems he wants the same thing.

He kisses me hard and I moan as I feel his hardness against me. I slow down my movements so that he can get comfortable with his pace. I kiss him again and I feel him smile against me.

Our tongues are tangled as we desperately need each other. We are lost in the moment that we don’t hear the door open.

Until Blue coughs loudly probably his attempt at getting our attention.

I look over the bed and he has a grin on his face.
