He is watching me with a confused expression sprawled on his face and I see how hard this must be for him.

Beau is the most compassionate person I have ever met. He looks very hard don’t he outside but he is as soft as a marshmallow on the inside. He is the kind of person that would do anything for the people he loved, he is protective of his family and right now Fallon is still his blood.

"I know you will, and I love you for that. You are the only one I have, the only one I want," he tells me.

He doesn’t say it out loud, but I know that he is thinking about his father and how much he misses him. He never really had the time to mourn his father’s death. A lot happened, and he had to focus on being strong.

He had to focus on becoming the new Alpha.

"I love you too," I tell him and I kiss him. That is something that has always helped us through the hard times. We are not scared of showing our affection.

This is who we are, we are not afraid of kissing each other, of loving each other.

"Enough depressing conversations, are you hungry, do you want me to go get you something to eat?’’ he asks as he pulls away from me slowly. His hands are still resting on my stomach gently. I have noticed that he likes touching my stomach.

"I am starving,’’ I admit with a goofy smile on my face. I didn’t want to think about food because of everything that has been happening but at the end of the day, my body decided to betray me.

"I will go get you something to eat, you need to eat for the babies. I will be back soon, promise.’’

I nod my head and smile as I see him walk out of the room.

He is looking more relaxed than earlier and that just makes me feel better.

I am worried about the decision he has to make but I am not worried about him.

I know that he will be okay and he will be able to do it. I rest my hand on my stomach, in an attempt to feel them. With my hands on my stomach, I try to feel them but there is nothing. I don’t want to panic because it could be nothing but they are closer to coming out. I should be able to feel them. I try to stand up but my legs are too weak right now. The pain that has been gone is back.

Beau, I need you.

I send him a mind link.

I know that he can hear me, so I am not surprised when he barges into the room with fear in his face. His eyes are wide and he is breathing harder. The fear in his voice is evident.

"What is it, what happened?’’ he asks and then he sees, the expression on my face. I don’t even know what is happening.

"I can’t feel them, help me,’’ I reach for him but he runs out of the room and leaves me in the quiet room. My heart is throbbing as I try to take deep breaths, the more I do, the more pain I feel.

"Ogma walks into the room with worry in her eyes. I see Beau in the corner of the room, his eyes are open, and he looks completely frazzled. I stretch my hands out and he shakes his head, rushing over to me as Ogma examines me.

"You are okay,’’ he tries to assure me but the pain is just too much.

I don’t know how much more of it I can take. Ogma looks up suddenly and there is a smile on her face.

"It is time, we have to bring them out before they rip you to shreds."
