This is harder than I thought it would be.

Lanis is so fucking inquisitive that it is driving me insane.

How do you surprise someone that wants to know every detail?

He is acting so spoilt right now. I know that he already can tell that I have something planned but he isn’t giving me the chance to do it smoothly. I had this plan in my head. It was supposed to be perfect but I have had to stray away from the plan so many times because of him. the first night, I told him that I was going to be spending the night out of the house and he freaked out. I didn’t expect him to be this clingy. Lanis has always been so considerate. No jokes, I am usually the unreasonable one but he wouldn’t even let me have a night to myself.

I know he is extra emotional because of the pregnancy but I didn’t expect it to be that bad. I didn’t want to end up hurting him because of this surprise. I know he just had to deal with putting Belis and Dru to sleep. it must be hard for him and I wanted to do something nice for him. that was the plan, I just didn’t think it would be so hard to plan something so grand in such a short amount of time.

I wasn’t supposed to come home that night. I had it all figured out in my head and I thought he would give me space but he kind of indirectly threatened me back home. I can’t stand knowing that he misses me and still choose to stay away. Bell has been the most help out of everyone. She has basically had to shoulder everything all on her own.

The lunch wasn’t planned either.

I hated that he was so upset. I just had to find a way to spend some time with him today and he chose to be extra demanding. I lost a couple of hours because of that.

Right now, I am in the motel room with him. I see the way he is looking around. I know that he hates it here. He doesn’t even have to tell me anything. I can see right through him. I know he would rather just go home but this place is part of the plan. Somehow, this motel is a memory that I never want to forget. I will always see this place and remember the first time I was confused by my emotions for him. this place is the beginning of our story. This place is the start of Beau and Alanis.

No matter how gross and disgusting the rooms are. Bells was also opposed to using this place but she came around and I know Lanis will feel the same way when he sees what I planned.

He is trying to convince me that he is okay here and even though I don’t believe him, I return his smile with one. "You should have a shower. Clean yourself up for me,’’ I tell him as he pulls me closer to him.

He rolls his eyes "We should have one together,’’ he suggests with a wink.

I don’t think having a shower together in the bathroom is the best thing. It is a tub and two of us won’t fit, and I don’t want to rub against the mold and shit. Besides, I need him to go to the bathroom, so that I can make my escape.

"Have one first and I will be waiting out here for you," I tell him slowly kissing his lips softly. He grabs the collar of my shirt and pulls me closer to him—further roughing up the white shirt. There is no way I can wear this. I don’t know what I was even thinking. I should have foreseen the mess before it happened.

Our lips stay together for a couple of seconds before I begrudgingly pull away from him "shower and then our nightcap,’’ I rest my head on his as I utter those words. he nods his head and takes a step away from me. he takes off his clothes in front of me and I watch him until he is naked and teasing.

"Are you really going to pass on rubbing all over this?’’ he gestures his hands to his body and my eyes find their way to the tiny bump on his stomach. The cutest thing I have ever seen on him. He follows my eyes to his stomach and quickly covers it up with his hands. I walk up to him and grab his hands away.

"Don’t ever cover it from me. fuck, don’t ever hide it from anyone.’’

He nods his head and I kiss him quickly before he walks into the bathroom, standing in front of the door.

"don’t disappear,’’ he warns me with a longing in his eyes.

I raise my hands in the air and then make a cross on my chest "Never." With my promise, he enters the bathroom but leaves the door slightly open. I don’t leave the room until I hear the tap running. this should give me about twenty minutes. It might be shorter because a gross bathroom is not one that he would want to stay in for a long time. I walk out of the hallway and to the next door, just beside the room.

Bell’s opens it up immediately. she is dressed in a pink dress. This is the first time Bells has ever worn a dress. "Do not say anything,’’ he glares at me "What the fuck happened to your clothes?’’ she adds in question.

"Long story. Is everything ready?’’ I ask her.

She nods "As ready as can be," she walks over to the cupboard and brings out the suit. "Go set up the room,’’ she hands it to me.

I nod because my heart is racing. The adrenalin is suddenly kicking in. I cannot believe that I am about to do this. I can’t believe I have been able to keep this from him.

"You got this,’’ she assures me even though I am terrified.
