Chapter 101: Explore each other.

I didn’t expect this kiss.

I don’t know what is going on in his head.

One minute he is worrying that my age is a barrier and the next minute he has me pinned up to the wall with his body pressed to mine. I don’t know how to react to this, but my body does all the talking as I grab him by his waist to pull him closer.

This kiss is deep, mesmerizing and makes me long for more. I wrap my arms around his neck, never wanting this moment to end. I still can’t believe all this is happening to me. I didn’t think I would ever get the chance to feel this way about anyone.

’’Why do you taste so fucking good?’’ he pulls back slightly, his lips still on mine.

I dive into the kiss unable to give him an answer to that question ’’You’re mine. Fuck, you’re mine.’’ He mutters in between kisses. I smile into his mouth because I want to be his. For the rest of my life.

My eyes stay open as I watch him in his daze completely engrossed in all that he is. This man came into my life in a flash and completely took over everything. I don’t mind, I am very grateful to have him.

I inhale a soft breath at his words and then slowly, let that same breath out. I don’t know how to handle all he is saying. The rush, the excitement of his words. I have been trying to convince him to let go. Trying to show him that this is not wrong and now he is finally accepting me.

I shake my head ’’I am excited. I have never been excited about anything in all my life, but I can’t wait to share my life with you.’’

He smiles ’’How do you feel about doing the ritual on Thursday?’’ it is a question but from the look in his eyes, it seems like he has already made up his mind.

I don’t know how I feel about it. they taught us about the ritual. It is supposed to be done on the full moon. ’’How will this work with us?’’

He shrugs ’’I have no clue. I want to do this the vampire way. That seems more logical.’’

I furrow my brows ’’What do you mean by the vampire way?’’

He sighs and drops his hands from my waist to his sides ’’It just makes more sense if I take control of this.’’

’’What do you guys do. I mean with your links?’’

’’We don’t have to wait till the full moon. I just have to give you my blood and have yours. There is this special bond that will be formed at the end of the process. It is not as big a deal as you guys.’’

’’Drink your blood?’’ I stutter.

He nods.

’’The full moon is in two days. Don’t you think it is too soon?’’ I ask him.

’’I want to do this. I can’t wait any longer.’’ He is so assertive. So sure, that nothing will go wrong. I trust him, I want to do whatever he wants. I know that as long as we are together, nothing bad will happen.

He nods ’’Yes, we fucking do this on Thursday,’’ he grabs my hand in his and squeezes it assuring.

’’I love you,’’ he breathes out.

My heart thuds against my chest. This thing called love, this thing that I never thought I would experience. Here it is and it has made me the happiest person on earth.

Saying it now is easy. There is no worry in my mind because he feels the same way. Having someone that loves you as much as you do is a blessing, and I won’t take things for granted. I will cherish him; I will love him with all I have. I will never let him go.

’’We should go back to your place,’’ he winks. There is a gleam in his eyes. The kind I haven’t seen before.

He leads me back to my tiny house; we get in and he is all over me. this side of him that he has been hiding. The side of Darrien that doesn’t treat me like a kid. I wished for him to see me as a man and it seems like he is finally accepting me.

The door closes with a loud bang and he pulls away from me with a hearty laugh. He grabs my hands in his and pulls me deeper into the living room and then to the couch. This is where we had our first kiss. Right here. I never really felt like I belonged here, in this place. It was given to me by Rick. I didn’t have anywhere to stay once I had come of age. No one wanted me, I didn’t have a mate. I was all alone. This place felt like a prison and the longer I stayed the more trapped I felt.

I watch him as he reaches for my shirt and pulls it off me instantly leaving me shirtless. He reaches for his and does the same. Now we are both shirtless. I look at my body and then at his. Complete opposites.

I find myself in awe of his hard, lean frame as kneels before me. no matter how hard I try, I can’t tear my gaze from his pale outline to his magnificent form, there is no use. His devilishly handsome features shift into a knowing grin as he catches me staring—more like gawking at his physique.

He stands up and I watch him, unsure of what to do next. ’’I want to get our clothes off,’’ he explains.

I nod and reach for my shorts; he grabs my hands and stops me ’’I’ll get them off. You seem tense. Is this too much?’’

I shake my head ’’No... this is perfect.’’

He nods and I watch him strip off his clothes. His eyes never stray from mine even when he is completely naked. My eyes drift to his member, totally engrossed in how beautiful he looks naked. Suddenly I am nervous. Would he like what he sees when he sees me?
