Chapter 357: Rewards** (Part One)

Annalise was ready to pull away completely from the man but was stopped as Valerius’ hands tightened around her and he pulled her back against his body.

She opened her mouth to speak but her words were cut off by a soft sensation against her lips. Instead of words, a gasp escaped her mouth as she returned the kiss. All the resistance left her body in seconds as she melted against him.

Just like that, the innocent mood changed into one of passion.

Valerius pulled away. They stayed there, silent, staring into one another, until the man surged forward once more, capturing her lips with another passionate kiss. His lips moved expertly against hers and made her close her eyes as she enjoyed the kiss.

Annalise felt her heart beating hard once more, and she feared it would burst out of her chest. At this point, it was such a common reaction of her heart every time she got intimate with her husbands, just like how her body burned with desire and her soul danced in happiness.

Her lips parted, allowing his lips to dart into her mouth, tasting her, savoring every corner inside. Their tongues tangled together, battling for dominance. She felt her knees turning to jelly, and she clung to him for support. Despite their standing positions, she was lucky he was keeping her upright, with a gentle yet firm hand, pressed lightly on her lower back.

She was fortunate he was still carrying her.

A small moan seeped out from deep within her throat, and another one shortly followed. It was almost like she was purring in pleasure.

She wrapped her hands around his shoulders and buried her fingers into his long silver hair. The satisfaction she felt was real, almost overwhelming. Her senses went numb when he would greedily suckle on her tongue.

He slightly tilted his head and covered her lips with his. Their lips were deeply interlocked with each other. They fell into a trance after they tasted each other’s lips, despite the hundreds of kisses they had shared in the past. No matter how many times they kissed or had sex, nothing changed in the way their bodies reacted toward each other.

With the way he was kissing her, she felt him steal her breath away, drinking it in himself with the kiss. She was breathing roughly through her nose as he kept kissing her. He was so engrossed it seemed as if he was determined to taste every part of her lips and mouth in detail. He licked and bit her lips and rubbed the tender flesh inside of her lips with the tip of his tongue.

She was not only getting out of breath but also started feeling like she was spiraling, making her feel nauseous. She unwrapped her arm from his neck and twisted her body as if to push him away.

His lips which had been tenaciously clinging onto her lips, finally let go. Valerius pulled away and looked at her with hesitation in his eyes.

She was breathing harshly, trying to catch her breath. Her lips felt swollen from the kiss, even her tongue ached lightly from when he had been pulling on it.

"Is something wrong, love?" Valerius asked gently and his tone carried a hint of worry for her.

Annalise immediately nodded her head, not wanting him to worry or think that he had done anything wrong. "I... just wanted to... catch my breath..."

The way she had to stop several times to catch her breath before speaking again - brought a smile on Valerius’ lips and then caused Annalise to chuckle in embarrassment.

He moved closer, asking silently for permission and she gave a terse nod in response. And so, he drew close, peppering kisses all over her face, on her eyelids, on her forehead, and cheeks, and he finished it off with a light gentle kiss on her mouth.

The kisses felt a little ticklish, she couldn’t help but let out a giggle.

Valerius’ kisses continued, trailing from her chin, then down to her neck, before nipping her lightly over her pulsing vein. Annalise let out a startled gasp as she looked up at him in surprise. Her brain recalled the memory of their last time together when he drank from her and a shiver ran down her spine in the most pleasurable way possible.

Their eyes locked on each other’s and she watched intently as his icy-blue eyes glowed in response to his desire.

"Annalise." He whispered huskily, sending a wave of shivers down her spine. It sounded so tempting, as he asked for implicit permission.

Despite how dark and gloomy the outside world appeared, it was the middle of the day, meaning all the servants and residents of the castle were up and around. Moreover, they were out in the side garden where anyone could spot them easily.

Annalise let out a soft sigh, closing her eyes momentarily before opening them once more. She could feel her heart thump sporadically in her chest, vibrating in her ear. If it had been her from the past, she would have refused within a second because of embarrassment. But the current one cared more about her own and her husband’s feelings instead of others’.

"Let’s go to" She gulped. "-the room." Her hoarse voice sounded strange to her own ears.

Valerius didn’t need to be told twice as he secured her in his arms before teleporting both of them to his own bed-chamber in the basement, making sure that no one would disturb them as no one would dare to enter the basement except for the other two Dark Lords.

Annalise was too busy recalling the structure of the palace as it had been months since she last came to the basement, by the time she realized where she was, something hit her at the back of her knees, leaving her sprawled on top of the bed lying on her back while Valerius crawled on top of her, adjusting her slightly.

He then wasted no time in pressing an urgent kiss on her lips once again before his tongue darted back into her mouth, curling around hers, battling for dominance once more.

"Ha..." She gasped aloud as he pulled away slightly.

Annalise took this chance and pressed her fingers against his chest, immediately regretting the presence of his clothes that kept her from touching his skin. She then slowly moved her hands toward his wide shoulders before she wrapped her arms around his neck loosely.

At the very same time, Valerius’ hand moved to grab her chin softly, moving it downwards in a sweet caress before he captured her lips in another kiss, and then another, and then another...

The kiss was so good, that Annalise could not keep the moans from spilling past her lips. He was so soft at first, before transitioning into something more passionate... rougher.

She could practically feel the impatience with every kiss, and Annalise could feel she too was growing more impatient the more they kept up with the foreplay, the desire building up, overriding her logic and reasoning.

She moaned when his hand cupped a breast, his lips moving away from her lips to nip on her earlobes, biting and licking the sides sensually.

Valerius moved up on the bed, bringing Annalise along with him, before laying her down with care.

Another kiss came, seemingly as if he was trying to drink from her mouth, smothering her with his heat and desire. His hands moved away from her breasts, clasping onto the top button, making them undone as he slowly worked his way through her entire dress.

More and more, she felt her clothes loosen up, sagging around her. Though he didn’t use any spell to get rid of her clothes like he usually liked to do, it still took him no time to get her completely naked.

At this point, it would be stupid to say that Annalise felt embarrassed in front of him, but the way his desire-filled eyes took their time to look at every single inch of her body, she couldn’t help but feel her entire body turning scarlet.

After taking a tour of her body, his eyes found hers and it was almost like a silent conversation happened between them because the very next moment, Valerius’ hands were moving to take care of his own clothes...
