His lips were like burning fire against hers but it made her feel good in the best way possible. Her hands found their way to his shirt and she curled her fingers in it as she pulled his body against hers.

One of Kenric’s hands found its way to her throat before it started trailing over her shoulder and down to her arm, his fire energy coming to join the play as her robe slid down her shoulder and her bare upper arm came in direct contact with his fingers.

She wasn’t wearing anything as revealing as her nightgowns as she had to join everyone for dinner but her dress was still sleeveless and her arms were covered with the robe that she was wearing over her purple silk dress.

His lips trailed kisses down her chin and then to her throat before leaving a trail back to her lips where he once again took full control over her mouth as his tongue devoured her, savoring, and tasting her.

Instead of focusing on the gown, his hand shifted on her bare thigh before slipping under the gown to caress her upper thigh.

"Kenric..."

Annalise couldn’t hold back the whisper of his name that left her lips as soon as she pulled away from the kiss to look at her husband.

A smile bloomed on Kenric’s lips and he answered her with another soft kiss before his mouth started trailing kisses down to her throat. His lips explored every inch of her throat, her shoulders, and collarbone before both his hands moved to massage her breasts with her dress as the only barrier between his palms and her little buds that were becoming hard with the sensations his hands were creating.
