Annalise was stunned into silence for a couple of seconds as she contemplated her options and realized that she didn’t have one, to begin with. If there was something she could do in her current situation then it was to accept his terms and conditions. The question was, could she really handle his games?

"Since you look so confused, I will give you a moment to make your decision." Damien offered as he tilted his head to the side and gave her a look that seemed like he was actually enjoying their current situation.

Annalise took in a deep breath as she bit down on her lower lip while her hands moved to rest against Damien’s muscular arms. She raised her gaze to look straight into his deep orbs as she answered in a firm and assured tone, "I am ready to play your games as per your rules but I have a condition."

Her words immediately picked his attention he arched his eyebrows high and spoke, "Let me hear."

Annalise had to gulp down her saliva to relieve her throat which was going dry as anxiety and excitement burned inside her. She was well aware of the trap that she was stepping into but she was still doing it anyways to get something special out of it. "I want you to teach me how to work with your shadow element."

There, she had finally put forward her demand. Now, it was all about whether the second dark lord would agree or not. She waited with her breath caught in her throat for the man to give her a response.

"And why did you want that, Princess?" Damien asked as he kept looking at her with that amused look in his eyes. He was keeping all her attention focused on him that she could barely spare even a second to look past him and at her two other husbands to see their expressions.

Taking in a deep breath, she answered, "Because while I can easily play along with Valerius and Kenric’s elements and work my own powers alongside them, I still can’t do the same with your shadow element even though we are already mated. Your element does play along with mine but it never allows my powers to seek through their high walls and learn their secrets. I want to get through those walls."

Damien’s smile only stretched further as he spoke, "Don’t you think you are asking for something really intimate?"

This time, it was Annalise who smiled as she answered, "Considering I’m your soulmate, I’m perfectly eligible for asking something that is considered so private and intimate."

Damien chuckled softly as he stepped closer to her, closing the small distance that he just created a couple of moments ago. He placed his hands on her waist and rested his forehead against hers as he whispered, "Fine, I agree with your condition. I will teach you how to get access to my shadow and you... you will learn the rules of my interest and let me direct our nights together as per my wish."

There it was, an agreement that would undoubtedly leave Annalise at Damien’s mercy but on the other side, she would finally be able to step past the only barrier separating the two of them.

"Should we continue now, Princess?" Damien asked in a husky voice as he brushed his lips very lightly against hers, reminding her of the fact that they were in the middle of a very heated segment that got disturbed eventually for a couple of very long minutes.

"I..." Annalise tried to speak but didn’t get the chance as his lips crushed against hers, demanding and urgent, as he took control of the situation, reminding her that he was the one leading the night. He held her so right against him that his skin melded against her and his hardened was once again pressing against her stomach.

Annalise found herself getting intoxicated by his kiss. It was like an aphrodisiac that was taking full control over her and barely allowing her to think of anything other than the fact that she was hooked.

Her tongue slipped into his mouth through his slightly parted lips and her body immediately responded as heat surged through her entire body. His hands traced up her sides to brush against her breasts and she moaned in response.

Damien’s kiss grew harsher, more demanding and she answered it with her own need as he moved her back a couple of steps to once again press her back against the wall behind her. The coldness of the wall hit her hard and sent shivers running down her spine.

She closed her eyes, reveling in the hot touch of his lips as he kissed and nibbled all over her body, leaving a trail of fire in his wake. Her body was abuzz because of all the sweet attention it was getting from Damien.

He wrapped his other hand around her ribs, squeezing them tight, all the while his mouth continued to explore every inch of her skin.

Annalise’s entire body was on fire, she needed him so badly and there was no doubt in her mind that Damien owned her body along with her soul.

His hands lowered to her hips and he cupped them tightly, still kissing her. Then he suddenly pulled her up and Annalise immediately wrapped her legs around him. They were joined perfectly at the hips but Damien still didn’t push his hardness inside her.

He gripped her hips as his mouth moved up her shoulder toward her neck, then his teeth teased her pulse before moving upward toward her jaw. "You are so dam beautiful, Princess. I want to eat you so that you will forget about everything else in this world but the two of us." He whispered before stepping away from the wall and heading toward the couches placed on the other side of the bed.

He placed her gently on the couch before pulling her to sit on the over the very edge and pulling her legs apart before he took a place between them.
