Chapter 137: Dream of Pleasure** (Part Three)

Annalise soon found herself alone on the bed with Kenric while Damien and Valerius left them alone in the pavilion that was more of their romantic bedroom at this point instead of some official entrance to the Mer Court.

The thought of someone suddenly arriving there and finding her all naked in the bed made her feel a little bit anxious but her thoughts were soon disturbed when Kenric suddenly moved. He straightened up, tugging her with him before he slid his fingers into her hair and kissed her.

"Can I take care of you, Little bird?" He asked while pulling away a little bit to look into her eyes with a soft smile that made her gaze linger on his lips for a bit longer than normal.

"How are you going to do that?" She found herself asking as she wrapped her arms around his neck and straddled him with her knees resting on the bed on either side of his thighs. Her naked body was plastered against his and the muscles of his bare chest were pressed against hers.

The man just smiled as he planted another soft kiss on her lips before responding, "Let me show you." He lowered her onto the bed before he settled himself between her thighs while his hands were resting on the bed on either of her arms.

He moved his face down to close reg space between their faces before his mouth captured hers in a deep passionate kiss that left her wanting more, her hands moved to hold his muscular arms as his muscles flexed under her fingers.

Even now, she was only able to sense his fire that was floating on the surface and trying to entice her powers in a sexual game of pleasures and power. But no matter how good his fire was making her feel, she couldn’t stop thinking about the absence of his other element - earth. She was still unable to connect with his second element and the realization brought a pinch of sadness to the beautiful moment that she was currently sharing with the third dark lord.

Kenric sensed her sadness and pulled away to look at her with worried eyes as he asked, "Is something wrong, Little bird?"

Annalise shook her head as she smiled softly at him while replying, "It’s just... I still can’t access your earth." She looked at him with hopeful eyes as there was a fleeting feeling in her heart that he would be able to give her some sort of solution but there was nothing that Kenric could do about it. Their powers were supposed to react only when they would be compatible, if there was no compatibility, there would be no connection.

The man cupped her cheek with his palm as he stroked his thumb against her smooth skin while replying, "I’m sorry, Sparks. You have to go through disappointment because of my element’s lack of interest in our bond. But I’m sure that one day, my earth will react to your powers too just like my fire."

Annalise could hear the truth in his words, he believed every word that he had just spoken - his earth was really meant to react to her, if not now then sometime in the future but just like his fire, his earth element was also hers.

She suddenly recalled the new nickname that he just used for her and it made her question, "Why sparks?"

A beautiful smile broke out on Kenric’s lips as he replied, "Because you are just like the most beautiful sparks of my fire. All mine."

Annalise felt something fluttering deep in her stomach at his words while warmth filled her heart. She was amazed at just how easily he could make her feel so weak with only his words let alone his warm actions that were always filled with so much affection and care.

Kenric placed another kiss on her lips before he started pulling away but Annalise made the bold decision to stop him as she closed the space between their faces that he just created and sealed his lips in a deep kiss.

The man let out a small sigh of satisfaction and encouragement as he gave into her kiss and allowed her to take charge which Annalise did with a happy heart. She allowed her hands to roam over his muscular back as she slipped her tongue inside his mouth.

Kenric made her gasp in shock as he took hold of her waist with one of his arms and with ten support of the other, he turned them over on the bed, making her straddle him as he laid down on his back with her on top of him while he kept kissing her back. He just left his hands resting on her waist after that and allowed her to do whatever she wanted.

Annalise pulled away from the kiss and moved her lips down his throat, trailing her mouth over the fine lines of his veins that were thrumming beneath his skin.

Kenric let out a small groan when she softly bit on this sensitive skin in the crook of her neck and his response made her nibble there some more.

"Little bird..." His voice was like a sweet warning that only made Annalise work harder as she started trailing kisses down his collarbone and after a moment or two, her mouth was already on his right nipple, and because of a wicked thought that suddenly popped into her mind, she ended up flicking her tongue over his nipple.

Kenric finally gave up on his calm demeanor as he pushed her down on the end and moved on top of her while straddling her thighs just like she was straddling him just a moment ago. "Let me show you just how it is done, sparks."

Before Annalise could have said anything in response, Kenric was already attacking her nipples. While his mouth sucked one of her erect nipples, his hand played with the other one, pinching and squeezing it lightly to make her groan out in pleasure.
