She stood and started going outside, her tears running down her cheeks as she intentionally walked towards her fans.

They were sad that their idol was not the chosen ambassador and seeing her struggling to wipe tears made them worry further.

"Goddess, what is matter?" One of them asked anxiously.

Anna pretended that she did not want to share the problem but finally spoke, stuttering a little,

"Do.. don’t tell anyone this.. I have been struggling for the past week to get this position but my sister stole it from me.. I.. Iam dissapointed so I came to breathe some air."

She saw her fans started having displeased looks as they looked at Rose who was heading for the stage and smirked inwardly. ’Fools!’

The girl proceeded to pretend calming them that they looked at her with pity when one whispered to her ear, "Don’t worry goddess, we will teach her a lesson.."

She pretended to be scared and finally nodding her head.

Anna left for the nearest restroom and burst out laughing, "Such fools! They will get the work done easily anyway."

She adjusted her dress and got back to the venue, right on time as Rose was about to give her speech.

Rose looked so amazing that a certain someone couldn’t help but smile widely.

"Thank you so much Chloe Cosmetics for selecting me and of course, I will carry out my duties to perfection."

Her words were simple but just perfect . The Lu elders were smiling looking at their princesses on stage.

Before Chloe could take the microphone back, Rose turned to the reporters and waved at them, "You see, earlier this week, these two ladies on stage with me appeared on a picture together that went so viral which is not the problem but the problem is that they appeared without me!"

Her mouth had now formed a pout as the hall erupted with laughter.

laugh out loud.

Anna was still throwing daggers at Rose. She should be the one in that Position! She should be the star of tonight!

Chloe officially marked the end of the launch as people were now free to socialize and build connections.

Nancy smirked from a far. "This is the moment I have been waiting for!"

She stood up and headed to the drinks section and started discussing something with the waiter not knowing all the Yangs were looking at her actions.

Liam was about to go find Jane when he heard someone calling his name,

"Liam."

He turned around only to see Peter and the man seemed nervous for some reason.

Liam was excited seeing his friend and he gave him a quick hug but the man did not budge instead he asked a question with his fingers crossed,

"Is Jane Lu the same woman you were telling me about?"

Liam was wondering why his friend was acting strange but upon hearing Jane’s name, his eyes immediately lit up and a beautiful smile spread across his lips.

"She is the one bro, I am so in love with her, we even hugged..."

He did not finish his words when he heard Peter’s voice, "She is the same woman I also told you about... "

Liam’s eyes rounded in shock as he registered his words.

What just happened??

Peter looked at him wearing a bitter smile, "She is the same woman bro, we fell for the same woman but I can see you approached her first and from what I see, she is slowly falling for your charms."

"Bro..."

Liam did not even begin his sentence when Peter cut him off,

"I am not mad at you bro, I am a real man and I am not going to treat her like a toy by wanting to fight for her with you, I have a crush on her, that I accept but you are also my sworn brother. The man tried to act strong as he continued, "I know I don’t stand a chance against you but I want you to make her the happiest you can, make her smile, just let me see her smile and I will be in peace. Good luck bro."

Peter hit his shoulder lightly as he gave him a smile and left him still in a daze.
