Liam led them to his room and the Two were left dumbfounded seeing a woman lying on Liam’s bed. The one Liam they both know, the man who hates having people in his personal space!

They were now convinced the woman was not someone to be messed with.

Even though they were shocked, they could do nothing lest they provoke the devil himself.

Mr Su proceeded to do some checks on Jane and after half an hour, he stood by the bedside and stared at her deeply as if contemplating on whether he should say what he has observed or not.

"I know that look very well Mr Su, just spit it out." Liam said in a low voice so as not to disturb Jane.

"Young Master, the young madam has more than just a fever. She seems to have a small amount of blood in her body and she isn’t eating well. She also seems to have something bothering her, probably stress leading to fatigue." The man started explaining before Liam could start using his threats.

"And also young Master, please make sure the young madam has had enough rest because she is clearly deprived of sleep. It would also be good for her to visit the hospital for further check ups." The man said as he watched Liam’s expression go from a frowning face to a worried face.

’Miss Lu is definitely my lady boss.’

Dan said inwardly as he watched Liam’s every reaction towards the doctors words. He looked like a worried husband right now!

"Thank you Mr Su. My assistant will see you off." Liam thanked the man but his attention was on the woman on the bed.

Mr Su sneakily took a picture before leaving.

Outside the Penthouse, He quickly pulled out his phone and made a call. The other end picked up the call immediately.

"Good evening Old Madam, young master has a woman on his bed, she is not well and from what I see she is the Lu heiress. This brat of yours treasures her so much that he got me out of the bathtub with my wife to come treat her!"

The man finished his report only to receive silence from the other end. He was about to check whether it was connected or not when a deafening shout was heard from the other end,

"Old man!! We are about to become great grandparents. He he! My boy did not dissapoint me old man!"

The woman clearely forgot that Dr Su described Jane as sick!

Mr Su laughed because he expected this reaction and cut the call.

He then sent the picture he sneakily took and put his phone back in his pocket. Dan who was beside him stared at him blankly as if asking him, ’Aren’t you afraid of the consequences you will go through because of reporting? ’

Mr Su ignored his weird look and proceeded to leave the building.

On the other hand, Liam was left staring at Jane. He looked at the medicine left by Dr Su and back at Jane.

He caressed her hand slightly, ’Why have you been careless about your health?’

He looked at the hand he had just caressed and took it near his lips. He hesitated a little bit before placing a gentle kiss on her.

He looked at her and stood up. He checked to see whether she might have any discomforts incase she woke up and after confirming all is well, he gave her a beautiful kiss on her forehead and covered her slightly.

He gave her one more look before he left his room for her.
