While the two were still in the hotel, the whole country was once again drowned in explosive news as the tape of the couple making love earlier splashed the internet.

The tape was shared by an anonymous account with a tempting captions, explaining why it was able to get alot of views and comments in a short period of time.

’It is funny how the whole country is here throwing hurtful hashtags at Anna Lu yet the beautiful couple are busy having their perfect moment.’ This caption was followed by a video of Edward and Anna having a passionate moment and even if Edward was drugged, he didn’t seem to be forced at all in the video.

Infact, the couple’s actions were as if they really missed each other and wanted to passionately but patiently feel each other.

"I knew it! My Goddess is innocent!"

"Go easy on our goddess Mr Chen!"

"The man is even considerate keeping in mind she is pregnant!"

A lot of other comments read just below the video, quite a number being Anna’s fans who had suddenly ressurected and the rest being bots.

Back at the hotel, the couple were preparing to leave, Edward being unaware of what was currently happening while Anna was completely aware of what was happening.

They were about to leave when Edward’s phone rang and upon seeing the caller being his mom, the man mentally sighed before picking up the call.

"Edward my baby! Is it true son?" That was the first thing that came out of her mouth the moment her son received her call.

Edward raised an eyebrow before responding back completely unaware. "What is true mom?"

The woman proceeded to explain and immediately she did, Edward hang up on her and quickly went to the internet and true to his mother’s words, a video tape was seriously circulating with the neitizens concluding that the couple was never in bad terms to begin with and that they just had a small argument and their haters used it as an opportunity to break the couple apart.

His frown grew deeper when the people continued to say that both Edward and Anna have some very strong backing especially Anna and this backing isn’t from country X but country Z, a country known to carry the Mafia.

This ended up scaring quite a number as the positive comments about the couple started overpowering the negative ones.

"Anna? Come see this." Edward called out to the woman who was putting on her shoes as he handed the phone over to her. Edward inwardly checked for her every single facial expression the moment she took the phone.

Anna looked at the article and as she played it she wore a surprised facial expression as she started sobbing. "They... They have.. Seen me naked!.. I.. Oh Edward! That camera!!" She fake sobbed as she pretended to realize that the room had a camera.

Edward looked over to the direction she pointed and there lied a camera but as he was staring at the camera, Anna’s eyes were back to the phone as she smirked for a second before wearing her previous expression.

Edward sighed before pulling her in for a hug as he whispered to her. "It will be okay.. Shhh.. We are a couple after all."

Anna nodded with sadness visible in her eyes but deep down, her heart could even burst from the excessive happiness she was currently feeling.

They hugged for some minutes before Edward held her hands as they left the hotel only for them to meet a number of reporters outside.

"Mr Chen! Is it true Miss Anna never cheated?"

"Mr Chen is it true someone has been plotting against your relationship?"

Different reporters were throwing different questions at him making the man feel like his head was about to burst from exhaustion but the girl beside him inwardly smiling gleefully.

"We are currently peaceful, if you will excuse me, my woman is tired." Edward only gave one reply as the reporters paved way for him to pass with quite a number concluding that the couple was indeed in good terms.

Although 90% of the country believed that the couple was okay, that keen 10% knew things weren’t just as they looked.. There was more happening between the two and they couldn’t wait until the real truth was revealed for them to prove the rest wrong.

"This girl is really smart.." A voice echoed distracting the rest of the family as all of them nodded, some simply agreeing while others acting unbothered but in reality, they were following every single thing Jane was saying.

This was in the Lu mansion where the big five were chilling on a Sunday evening, with an exception of Ian who was in a mission and the eldest son of the Mu family who was out of the country or rather, has been out of the country for months now.
