Chapter 175: No excuses

The day came to an absolute end with everyone retiring to their homes but in an abandoned building sat a group of three people who are were busy discussing.

"It has been a month young woman.I have given you enough time, what is it that you can’t do to get that man on your side? John Xi asked the young lady before him while his son Derek stared at her intently.

Victoria looked at the father son duo before finally speaking. "From my sources I know that Ian Mo is not around and therefore I cannot do anything.. I mean I tried at least so stop giving me those looks." Before she could say anything else, Derek smiled as he beckoned his father to listen.

"We have been targeting the wrong person all this while. I mean if you get rid of his wife then that means the position will be open for you to become his wife and with the support of the Major General of this country our family can get back its roots and we can finally bounce back to business and you will get to marry your dream husband."

John Xi nodded his head while Victoria laughed as she equally nodded her head because she was totally in for the idea and only she knows how much she had despised the street rat ever since she saw her.

"Well you have to do it tonight no excuses for you Victoria Li. I repeat, no excuses for you young woman you have to do it tonight or else forget about being the wife of the Major General." Father Xi instructed the girl as he stood up to leave.

Victoria nodded in understanding as she stood up and took her purse trying to think of a way she will come across Mary and finish her for good. The girl got into her car and started driving heading towards the Mo mansion because she was sure that was where Mary could be but of course luck was on her side because before she reached the mansion she came across Mary who was actually walking, busy on her phone seemingly thinking of something deeply.

The girl immediately stopped her car as she took a gun under her seat her face wearing nothing but pride as she opened the door and headed towards Mary. "Well.. well... well.. look who we have here if not the dirty street rat. "Now put your hands up and follow me or else I’ll blow your brains off."

Her voice attracted Mary who took her attention off her phone and looked at the girl, her face showing nothing but boredom. She sized Victoria from head to toe and without even saying a word, she headed towards the car and into the passenger seat. Instead of sensing that something was actually wrong, Victoria thought that the girl was really scared and that she got into the car because she saw a gun but she did not know that Mary got into the car because she was about to rearrange her whole body.

The moment Victoria got into the car she picked up a smell that made her start feeling dizzy prompting her to look at Mary only to find the girl smiling at her and waving her hand at the same time. By now Victoria was completely confused and before she could say anything else the girl ended up collapsing making Mary laugh out loud.

"Such a stupid girl! I mean these people could do better by finding someone who I can even equally fight with or if I’m not wrong they clearly underestimated me but not anymore." She smirked as she got out and pulled gloves from her purse. She then carried Mary and placed her in the back seat as she took out a bottle of fake blood.

Mary thought for a while and decided to just break one of her legs to prevent her from walking for some time. She took out the fake blood and smeared some on Victoria’s clothes before writing a note using the same blood.

After feeling satisfied and doing what she wanted, she quietly drove the car directly to the Xi mansion and left it outside the gate. After making sure no one was around, she got out and left yet another note on the car’s windshield.

She satisfyingly looked back at her work before calling a number and in minutes, a military car but with the Mo family logo came and picked their young madam up. Barely minutes after she had left, both Derek and his father arrived and before driving into the compound, they stopped when they noticed Victoria’s car but it was parked in an odd place giving them a bad premonition.

They both got out of their car and the note was what immediately attracted them the moment they got close to the car. The two looked at each other before Derek gathered his courage and picked up the note only for his eyes to widen in shock as he took steps back from the car, scaring his father in the process.
