Chapter 155: Coming for revenge

He calmed himself before rushing to the hall to actually end the party, leaving his parents wondering what was wrong with him but they were unable to question him because the man got into his car and left the venue in the presence of all the guests and reporters.

On the other hand, the big five had each gone their separate ways as soon as they left the venue.

"Chloe, how are you feeling?" Ryan asked Chloe once he was sure they were alone because the man was sure that she was not okay.

"I am okay Ryan, Just some dizziness abd before you say it, no, I don’t need a check up, just take me home."

She replied back in a tired manner prompting the man to sigh but she realized that he had instructed the cab driver to go to a different direction. Feeling too tired to argue out, Chloe just shut her eyes close because she was in the presence of a man she trusted without her own knowledge.

The cab finally came to a stop and Ryan picked the sleepy Chloe up carefully not to wake her up as he headed to his apartment.

Once inside he took her to his room, took off her jewellery and shoes. He thought for a second before shutting his eyes and changing her out of that dress and into one of his t shirts.

After making sure she was going to be comfortable, he changed out of his own tuxedo and went for a shower after carefully tucking her in his blanket.

In all honesty, Ryan’s brain was full of thoughts currently as he had a lot of doubts about Chloe’s ’sickness’. He was in deep thought that he did not realize the water was getting hotter and only after almost getting scalded did he turn off the shower and left the bathroom without actually doing anything.

He went to the couch in his room and took an extra blanket afterwhich he lay down still deep in thoughts until he finally got sleep.

The whole country X woke up to more than one story the following morning in relation to Anna’s engagement party.

There were different headlines such as;

There were many other headlines including how much Anna embarrassed herself and how Jane took the spotlight but Mary because famous overnight because of Ian and because she was going to be the next Mrs Mo, proudly!

Inside JL, an actual party was thrown to welcome back the best actress and the princess of the entertainment industry, right behind Rose.

"I knew she will be back!"

"Our Goddess is back!"

"She is even dating Mark Mu.. She is literally living my lifeee!"

So many compliments could be heard as Lisa patrolled around together with Rose and the girl couldn’t be more than happy knowing she finally got back to where she was meant to be but this time round, she came back with revenge...

In Ryan’s apartment, Chloe struggled to open her eyes but the moment she realized her environment was strange, the girl quickly opened her eyes out of panic only to see Ryan sleeping peacefully on the coach making her sigh in relief.

She looked down at her clothes only to find herself in a T-shirt she assumed was his and instead of getting mad, the girl just smiled slightly as she slowly got back to bed knowing she was safe with him.

It was actually funny that Chloe did not realise she was getting extra comfortable with Ryan and in situations any normal female is supposed to get mad at, she was actually smiling, as long as Ryan Lu was involved.

Chloe was extra comfortable that she did not realize Ryan had been watching her and he did not miss out on her smile when she checked herself and saw his cloth.

The man watched her as she completely comfortable that she went back to sleep with no worry that a sincere smile immediately formed on his lips as he silently whispered, "I found a wife....I will make you Mrs Lu Chloe.."

Back in the hotel, Anna woke up startled when she felt the sun rays hit her. She woke up immediately only to feel a hand wrapped around her stomach and when she turned around she saw Lucas fast asleep and that’s when it hit her that they had sex the whole night, she did not even know where Edward was!

"Shit! Wake up Lucas!"

She tapped the man continuously until he was finally awake, earning a glare from him. "What’s wrong Anna?" The man asked actually pissed being woken up but Anna’s next statement shocked him that he suddenly ran out of words.

"Lisa did not die, she is so much alive and has made a huge comeback asshole!"

"WHAT! But you.. I.. we.. but.. impossible!"

The man stammered as he struggled to come up with the perfect sentence but was unable when Anna placed her cellphone before him for him to see what was currently hitting headlines.

"Li..Lisa..she looks even prettier and..wait! She has a boyfriend!....But..."

Lucas was still in a state of disbelief when Anna gave him a slight slap "That’s not what is important right now because I am sure she is coming for revenge!"
