Chapter 140: She is the one!

The man started his car as he drove off, hoping to get home early and take off his mask.

Yes, Brian was in a mask and that has been the situation for the past few weeks after he was assigned by Ryan to cripple Chen enterprise from the inside and this happened after he made sure the finance manager got transferred and Brian got the position.

He had to put on a mask because no one in country X couldn’t recognize CEO Lu’s assistant.

On the other hand, in a dark room full of computers, two people sat as they seriously focused on one computer.

"Hehe master! You are such a genius but why don’t you tell me what then happened to my mother, where was her body buried? You seem to know alot master.."

Mary complained as she looked at the man next to her and when he looked at her back, she excitedly waited for a real answer only to be dissapointed once again.

"It is not yet time Mary, just trust me and hold on Mary."

The girl wore a frown on her face as she stood up,

"Well then Master, Since you won’t tell me then forgive me in advance if I find out anything important because you know I am not the type to give up."

The man was about to speak up when she raised her hand signalling him to stop as she spoke,

"Before you say anything mean to me Master, remember I possess your character, you raised me Master now byee!"

"Mary wai.." The man did not finish his statement when the girl left and did not forget to bang the door making him sigh.

"Boss Daniel... she is just as rebellious as you are... give me some time and I will re unite you and your family...I promise..."

The man spoke as he concentrated on the same screen while Mary stood outside wondering how she was going to find out about her parents.

So far, she had only found out that the Xi killed her mother because she refused to fall back in love with John and instead chose to get pregnant by another man and even running away to give birth in secret.

She thought for a while before deciding to officially attack their illegal business because she knew that that was where they got their strength.

She decided to just walk instead of taking a cab home since in such situations, she couldn’t drive her car to her Master’s hideout.

She was peacefully walking on the side of the road and was suddenly attracted to some noise when she looked back and realized a gang of seven people had stopped a vehicle and from the look of things, they were completely armed.

She was about to ignore it when she suddenly saw the Mo family Logo on the car and for some reason, she turned back and headed for the car.

"Gentlemen, why don’t we make this easy for us? You step away and I will spare your lives."

The men turned and looked at her as if she was some kind of a joke before bursting out in laughter.

"Pffffft Hahaha!"

"Young lady, do you even think you are a match against us?"

Mary looked at them in an amused manner,

"Of course I am a complete match for you especially when you are this stupid not to realize that you are have just stopped the number one Military family in the country."

She said calmly as she checked her nails, making all the men turn their heads towards the vehicle only for their face to turn pale upon seeing the Mo family Logo.

They were about to run away when one of them spoke up, ’enlighting’ the rest.

"Wait boys, this is even better, there are only women inside, I can clearly spot Mrs Mo, we can get a fortune out of her and if possible..."

He turned and stared lustfully at Mary as he continued,

"We can enjoy all the three ladies... Hehehe..."

The others thought he was making sense as they nodded and before the one near the back seat could do anything, a strong punch flew on his face making the man fall down, blood oozing out of his mouth and nose.

This attracted the rest for looked back only to see a fierce Mary looking back at them, wearing a smirk.

"You bitch! How dare you! Boys! Attack!!"

The man who seemed to be the leader ordered his boys to attack Mary but within 2 minutes, they were all lying on the floor as some seemed to have passed out surprising not only the leader but also mother Mo and her female driver/bodyguard.

"Who is she?" Mother Mo wondered as she focused on the girl but right on time, her cell phone beeped and she immediately checked it since Mother Lu had promised to send her a picture of Mary.

The woman opened the photo only to feel the beautiful woman was odlly familiar. She tried figuring out where she had seen the girl when the screaming of a man attracted her attention as she looked outside the window only to see the leader beaten black and blue and the girl... wait...

She quickly opened her phone and stared at the photo, back to Mary and at the photo again.

"Oh sweet Lord! She is the one! She is Mary Huang! I have met my future daughter-in-law!"

The woman started jumping like a kid making her body guard smile as she looked at her.

Mother Mo was about to get out of the car when she saw Mary waving at her and bowing as she left the place, all the gangsters on the floor beaten black and blue and the girl lacking even a single bruise.

She quickly took out her phone and snapped the pictures as she send them to the group, together with many voice notes praising the girl’s bravery.
