Nicole tried opening her heavy eyelids after feeling a ray of sunlight hitting her for long.

She finally managed to open her eyes but was welcomed by a strange ceiling, definetly not her room.

She tried checking on her surrounding but since she was still sleepy, she couldn’t tell where exactly she was but before she could move her body to inquire further, she felt a strong grip on her waist, determined not to let her move.

This immediately woke her up fully as her eyesight slowly started moving towards the hand, her body shaking in fear.

She slowly went down and saw a super masculine hand around her and this alone was enough to tell her that she was in a strange environment, with a stranger and to make matters worse, a man!!

Nicole couldn’t even think at this point and screamed, loud enough to wake up the sleepy Peter.

"Aaaaaah!!"

Peter immediately jolted from his sleep as his grip around her tightened because he thought she might be falling or experiencing a nightmare.

He immediately asked as he tried to check her all over that the man missed the shocked look on her face.

He said but did not unwrap his hand from her.

He pointed the wrapped arm as he continued to speak,

"You were experiencing some nightmares and you even cried, after calming you, I was trying to comfort you with some song but I ended up sleeping too.. "

The girl said as she smiled slightly, making the man nod back in appreciation as he finally let go off her waist making Nicole finally feel comfortable.

"I will order some breakfast for us and also a new pair of clothes for you."

Peter said as he stood up and left the room, afraid that the girl will request to leave and he wanted her to stay longer.

He was indeed correct because the moment he left, the girl started talking to herself as she wished she would have spoken before him but now she cannot turn him down because the man was just being kind.

Peter on the other hand was staring at his arm as he smiled widely, "I have found the mother of my children."

The happiness on his face could not be hidden as he picked up his phone and headed to place the orders.

In one of the fanciest hotels in the city, four women were sitted chatting as they waited for that one latecomer of the group.

Before mother Yang could complain, the door burst open and in came mother Zhang, all smiles without caring how her sisters have been waiting for her.

The rest of the women rolled their eyes as they laughed knowing she is never sorry, no matter how late she is.

Mother Lu repeatedly asked as she smiled widely.

Mother Mo spoke as she nodded her head approvingly stating that she was okay with Nicole even though Peter is not her son because being a military family, she knew how dark the Xi family really is.

Before the rest could speak, Mother Lu continued looking at mother Zhang.

"You have to speak with Peter. If he is not serious about my girl Nicole, he can as well as let her be as early as now. The girl has gone through a lot of brutality in the hands of the Xi family and I cannot let your son add onto her pain and trauma."

The women all nodded in unison as if she was speaking to all of them making her smile a bit. They all had each other’s backs and it made her happy.
