She was freely laughing and the man could recall seeing her this happy before she got into an accident.

Jane suddenly stopped laughing and gave him a shocked look, paced out of the room and rushed to her house.

Liam was shocked and confused at the same time but before he could react the girl was already out of his sight.

Jane rushed towards the bedroom and her eyes landed on one specific drawer.

She stared at it before opening it nervously only to breath a huge sigh of relief seeing the expected item still intact.

She gently smiled as she took out the gift box, closing the drawer in the process.

Jane left her house quickly when she remembered she left someone behind.

She bumped into Liam as she got into the room.

"Jane Lu! Are you crazy? Running out in a bathrobe right after surgery?"

Liam’s strict voice scared her that the girl took a step behind.

She did not know why but she felt bad hearing this tone, seeing this side of him. Of course she knew she made a mistake but she did not want to be the guilty here, she wanted to be spoilt and pampered.

She squeezed her eyes and tears started falling out, right in time when their eyes met.

"I.. I am.. sorry... I.. I.. "

The man was beyond scared seeing her cry remembering the fact that he promised not to make her cry.

"I am so sorry baby, I was scared you’ll get hurt in the cold, Shhh my queen.. don’t cry.. "

He pulled her in his arms and gave her a warm hug as he spoke.

Facing the mirror, Jane gave a sneaky smile but she did not realize the man had seen through her trick but was inwardly sighing since there was nothing he could do.

Jane broke the hug without saying a thing and took his hand, leading him to the bedroom.

Once they were there, she sighed as she took out a beautiful blue box from the gift bag.

Deep down, Liam was wearing a big smile but the stupid man tried to act as if he was seeing nothing.

As she opened the box, a beautiful pendant could be seen lying in there, coated in pure silver.

She took out the pendant and it had the word LIANE written on it with a heart shape surrounding it.

She carefully tiptoed and Liam’s hands automatically held her by the waist to prevent her from falling.

Once the girl was done, she went back to her original place as she stared at the pendant, proud of what she was seeing.

"Liam, this is what I intended to give to you before I got into an accident."

She started speaking and the man maintained eye contact as he gently smiled at her, allowing her to continue.

"I know I confessed my love to you in a hospital bed, not exactly what I had in mind but Liam Yang, you won my heart when you did not give up on me. You won my heart the moment you respected my choices and opinions."

She paused a little before continuing, " I do not know where our love story is taking us but baby I want an eternity with you, I want to grow old with you, I want to prove to the whole world that good men still exist Liam. I want to love you harder every single day Liam."

As she paused, she lifted her hand and started ruffling his hair sweetly.

"I want the whole world to know that you Liam Yang are my hus..umm, cough..Man."

Her mistake not only shocked her but it also shocked Liam but the man did not want to raise it up to save her from feeling embarrassed.

"Incase you forgot Liam,I love you so damn much and if you dare walk out of me, I swear we going together Liam. The very moment I realized I am in love with you, was the same moment I branded you mine and boy you are going nowhere."

She proudly finished as she smiled sweetly at him.

The quiet man finally broke the silence by suddenly carrying her, startling her.

Naturally, Jane’s legs were wrapped around his waist and her hands around his neck.

"I love you so much my queen, I feel so happy when you claim me, it makes me feel your love."

"This pendant baby girl, is going nowhere, we are going to grow old together with it hanging on my neck my love. Thank you for making me happy because honestly Jane, I never thought a day will come when you were going to say you love me."

"I have seen countless relationships but I have never known how much addictive love is until I met you and now that I have, I am never letting you go, I will make you a queen even if you already are one, I will be your shoulder, when things get heavy I will be here to help you unload them..."

He smiled at her when he felt her tears drop and this time round, they were honest tears.
