Back at the venue, Liam was busy discussing something when his watch beeped.

He suddenly felt something was not okay, how can her watch send signals if she is okay?

He immediately excused himself and started looking around. He could not see Jane and he immediately felt uneasy, super uneasy.

He rushed towards Rose’s direction, where she was sitted together with the rest of the Lu and Yang family.

"Ro..Rose, where is Jane?"

He asked as he tried to keep calm but the man couldn’t.

Rose raised her eyebrow before answering,

"She told me she had something to pick in her penthouse."

She answered in a confused manner making Liam’s fears increase.

The others wondered why Liam was so tensed but he suddenly shouted,

"She is not safe! My watch has beeped thrice.. I don’t have time to explain, let’s go!"

The rest felt their hearts shuttering hearing his words that they immediately stood up and left through the back exit so as not to attract the people’s attention.

Liam was driving mad as he followed the tracking that was in her watch that the others had to try calming the man.

The more he followed the location, the higher his fear got.

He spotted the car they came in earlier and his heart dropped to his stomach seeing her condition.

The man stopped the car and started rushing towards the damaged car. He spotted a body lying in a thick pool of blood.

"JANE!"

The rest got out the car and they couldn’t help but feel like they were dreaming.

Jane was lying in a thick pool of blood, shuttering their hearts completely.

Mother Lu lost her cool seeing her daughter in that state but before she could reach her, Liam was one step ahead of her.

Liam did not care whether the blood was smelly or not he scooped the girl, his eyes completely red with tears.

Ryan rushed forward but he couldn’t keep his cool at all seeing his sister in such a manner. She was completely pale.

He tried feeling her pulse but the pulse was completely faint.

"We have to rush her to the hospital now! I can’t even feel her pulse!"

His words made the rest panic as they got into their cars, rushing to the hospital.

Rose was in tears as she couldn’t believe the girl who was smiling earlier was in such a state. Who did this?

The Yang parents also couldn’t help shedding seeing the two bullet holes. He skin was completely pale and cold.

Liam took of his tuxedo coat and wrapped Jane with it as he held her, trying to warm her up. He was in a confused state that no one could question him.

He suddenly paused as he turned to his father.

"Dad, make a call to Dan, tell him he has a maximum of thirty minutes to find out who harmed my queen else I’ll chop his neck!"

Liam’s voice rang making the rest shiver in their seats because the air he was exuding now was almost choking them.

Ryan was dying deep down as he looked at his sister carefully. He noticed the blood trickling from her head.

He undid her hair, his heart aching and his hands shaking, checking where the blood was coming from exactly and his fears came true.

"She..s.. she requires a brain surgery immediately."

Ryan’s voice was completely weak and Liam couldn’t help but lay his head on her chest crying.

"Why her? Why?"

Rose felt like she was about to go mad hearing Ryan’s word because they knew that on top of that, she had to go under another surgery to remove the two bullets in her body. 💔

They arrived in the hospital in no time but the man refused to let go off Jane until he was informed that they have to change her and rush her to the surgery room immediately.

Liam watched as they wheeled Jane away anger grabbed Ryan’s hand,

"Please bro, save her for me, she is my love, my heart, my everything, I can’t do without her... please.."

At this point Liam couldn’t pretend to be strong anymore, he couldn’t! Jane was his strength and at the same time, his greatness weakness.

Ryan patted him, trying to be strong, "I will bro."

With those words, he left for the surgery room as Mother Yang was busy comforting Mother Lu who was crying uncontrollably.

Chloe didn’t know when her tears started coming out but she has never seen her brother this vulnerable! Never in her whole life. She just had to pray all goes well with the operation.

She looked at her brother in a bloody suit and left to get everything for the people since the surgery was going to take long. In the next 6 hours, according to Ryan, they will be done and Chloe was sure every single second, minute and hour was going to be torture for them.

Jordan was busy hugging and comforting Rose who was crying her all when Mary walked in.

She went towards Liam and leaned down, whispering something to him, making the man shoot up immediately.

"Liam, w..where to my son?"

Father Yang asked, his voice stuttering as he saw Liam heading for the elevator, his face burning with anger.

He gave his father a sharp glare as he answered, "I am going to kill a bitch!"

Father Yang swallowed a mouth full of saliva as he noded his head dismissing his son.

Mary looked at the operating room, her eyes almost turning Red when she saw her family drowning in tears and sadness.

She took in a deep breath and immediately rushed after Liam.
