"Is it just because her soul smells delicious? I’ve not eaten any souls for a while, but I have never felt so hungry. What is the reason?" Killian asked, taking Lucifer’s hand off his shoulder.

"Why do you think I have the answer?" Lucifer replied, shrugging his shoulders.

"You are the God of the underworld and it has happened to you. There has to be something you know," Killian said why Lucifer of people should be able to help.

"You give us way too much credit. We’re not all-seeing and knowledgeable like everyone thinks. There’s shit about this world that we don’t know about. That I don’t know about because I have other things to take care of, but since it is so important to you, I will find out. I’ll guess it happened because we got lost in the moment with a human right in front of us. I don’t know about you but I would never hurt my wife," Lucifer said, going back to searching for her.

"Not like you could. Lilith somehow has the power to control you. It’s possible the other guards meddle with her life to send her down into the underworld to control you-"

"Do not piss me off on such a good day, Killian. We should talk about something more important. What are you going to do about this cousin who is spreading something about your wife even if it is true? Amelia is married to a demon so I consider her one of us," Lucifer said.

Lucifer had a brilliant idea. "You know, if you never want her missing the Blackwell people, you should continue to add fuel to these rumors so the people will not want their former princess back. Thank me later for this good advice."

"You also married a human but I would never take advice from you. I have been losing money from my bets since Lilith has not left you yet. If she does within a year, I can still score big," Killian patted Lucifer’s back before leaving.

"I should punish you for saying something so cruel but I happen to like you enough to let this slide. What I don’t like is Agramon rallying up some demons to pester me about you making a human your wife and Queen of the north. His allies are growing Killian. It’s a about time you find some allies of your own. I like you but I will not get involved with the fight to rule the north. From the very beginning, I said anyone can rule this land. Kill whoever you need to get it," Lucifer repeated the same words he said many years ago.

"If Agramon sits on the throne this is just the first step of his plans to expose our kind to the whole world. He wants to show humans who are the strongest creatures in this world and make them his slaves. Have you forgotten about your rule to not keep what we are a secret?" Killian inquired.

Lucifer couldn’t help finding Killian to be a hypocrite. "Says the man who revealed what we are to a princess. Many demons are becoming restless, Killian. I only said that because it was what the other Gods wanted, but from our last conversation, the others do not seem to care anymore. In better words, they would like to do a clean-up with the humans."

"Wipe out the species a little bit so they go back to begging the Gods for help instead of their Kings. You know the other Gods hate to be ignored. The world will come to learn about us soon. I just don’t want Agramon to be the one to do it. Make an example out of the Blackwells. I want them to be the first ones to know what we are," Lucifer said as the Blackwells were too cocky for his liking. He heard about them trying to get the North to bow to them for years.

"One of them already knows what we are. Amelia’s grandmother comes from a long line of priests. Their bloodline is still around with the knowledge to kill us. I would like to say her grandmother has no reason to attack us since her precious granddaughter is here, but she is unpredictable. She gave Amelia weapons that could do serious damage to weaker demons," Killian revealed.

"So, they are making those weapons again. I should have found the fools who thought humans how to make those weapons faster. Then I wouldn’t have to deal with this thousand of years later. Are you still planning to put one of your children on the Blackwell throne?" Lucifer asked as it would be good to have a demon on that throne instead of a human. It would be better if all thrones had a demon sitting on them.

"In time," Killian replied. He needed the child first but he was not in a rush to have it yet. Anyone who sat on the Blackwell throne would always be easy to dispose of.

"I would like you to hurry up since some other demon might want that throne. You’re going to make everyone angry when they find out you want to have two thrones. I look forward to it as long as I will not be annoyed with pleas to make you give up a throne. We should talk about this later," Lucifer snapped his fingers to get rid of the invisible wall he put up so no one could listen to their conversation.

"I brought some drinks from the underworld with me. As a newly married man, you will need something for those days when your wife is angry with you, and won’t let you be near her. You can always take a trip down to the underworld to visit me when she does it. I happen to miss your company. You were always quick to get rid of the people who annoy me with their foolish plans."

Killian started to walk in the direction of the throne room to see how preparations were coming along. "Shouldn’t you be looking for Lilith?" He asked. Lilith was just as troublesome as her husband.

Lucifer gave the garden a last look around before losing interest. "She’s somewhere in the castle so why bother?"
