"Try moving your hips on your own," Killian instructed her. She had the freedom of taking control in this position and finding what angle suited her the most. He released his hold on her and stopped moving so she could take the lead.

Amelia wished he would continue as they were doing as she was nervous about her inexperience. Still, she would try her best and if it wasn’t good now she would try to be better next time.

She placed her hands on his shoulders and started to move on her own. Going slow at first to pace herself as she lifted her body and went back down on his length. Not once did she look away from Killian as she needed to see his expressions.

"Amelia," Killian moaned her name as he leaned forward to bury his head in her shoulder to kiss her there.

Amelia felt like she was melting as she understood why he liked it when she said his name. It was like he was vulnerable with her at this very moment and she hoped it was something only she got to see. That this powerful demon had a soft side that belonged to only her.

"I thought you wanted me to do this alone," she said the moment he started to thrust up to meet with her when she came back down on his length. It was much better when they both took part but she didn’t mind the moment she had to be in control. "Don’t stop," she added.

"Your words are conflicting Amelia," he spoke against her skin. "Do you wish for me to stop?" He asked.

"No," Amelia shook her head. "I am close."

"I know," Killian replied, tightening his hold on her. With the hand feeling around her hair, he gently brought her head down to capture her lips once more.

Amelia increased her pace to match Killian so each time she dropped her body to slide down his length, he would be thrusting up inside of her. As much as Amelia had grown fond of their intimacy, she had to agree that she needed a break. It wasn’t like they could not continue tomorrow or even later in the night as it was still early. "Did I do well?" She asked.

Killian smiled, finding it amazing how dense she was at the moment. "How could that be a question now? Or are you asking that because you still think my enjoyment is what matters most?" He asked, looking down at her in his arms.

"No, I just can’t shake the feeling like I was too inexperienced. Forget I asked that question," Amelia muttered, feeling embarrassed. It was obvious he enjoyed it but her mind wouldn’t feel convinced unless she heard more than once that she did well.

"You did wonderful tonight, Amelia. The proof is that I am already becoming hard inside of you again," he said, pulling out of her before he changed his mind about only having her twice tonight. "Don’t think too much about it," he said, tugging on the first thick layer of the sheets to pull it off the bed.

Amelia moved to the other side of the bed where the sheet had come off and watched Killian get rid of the layer stained with her blood. She laid down on the bed once the entire bed covering was taken off, not bothering to find a night dress to sleep in. There wasn’t a need to hide her body when Killian saw all of her.

She was exhausted and though she was energetic before they had sex, Amelia couldn’t resist the urge to fall asleep but she wanted to stay awake with Killian a bit more. She silently watched Killian set the sheets on fire before getting back onto the bed behind her to join her in going to sleep.

Amelia turned to face him and thought about the fact that the man before her was her husband. It was dawning on her now more than it was before.

"What is with the look?" Killian asked, reaching out to hold her waist and pulling her up against him. Their naked bodies were pressed right up against each other. He picked up a strand of her hair and watched it fall before picking up another.

"You are my husband," said Amelia.

Killian smiled amused that she was still experiencing the shock that she was married once more. "From the moment I said I do. I was present, you know. You are my wife."

"I wonder which will be harder. Being the queen of the north, your wife, or when the time comes, a mother. Are you not frightened about what will happen in the future?" Amelia whispered as she did have her fears. Whether it was about being a good queen, a good wife, or a mother their future children would love. There were all important roles that needed to be done well as it would not just affect her.

"I prefer to think mostly about the present. Why ruin our current happiness to think about a future we have no clue about? Once we live well in the moment, there is nothing to worry about in the future. I have no doubts you will make a good queen. I would have picked you over Fraser had I not liked you. And as a wife, you only need to be yourself," Killian answered.
