The Strongest Dragon in the Era of Beast Taming -
Chapter 1077 - Chapter 1077 Chapter 1071 Meeting Again
Chapter 1077: Chapter 1071: Meeting Again Chapter 1077: Chapter 1071: Meeting Again Plough Sea Area.
The glory of the setting sun, shrouded by the arcane force storm stirred up by the Immortal Tide, vaguely revealed the silhouette of five different dragon pets cultivating at the heart of the storm.
“Roar.” (So boring.)
The Gluttonous Beast yawned, a look of boredom on its face as it swallowed a roasted lamb thigh, bones and all, without even bothering to chew.
Indeed, food always tasted best when there were others to compete with for it.
Without the Star Frog, reincarnated as a malicious spirit, snatching food at its side, dining had lost its appeal.
“Woo.”
The End Abyss wasn’t as finicky as the Gluttonous Beast, its mouth constantly moving.
But more than the delicacy in its mouth, it yearned to taste the various beasts deep within the Plough Sea Area.
“Mew.” (Don’t mess around.)
As if seeing through the End Abyss’s thoughts, Daphne withdrew her gaze from David Jones and then bit at the air.
“???”
Daphne blinked her eyes, glaring fiercely at the Gluttonous Beast.
Where’s my dinner?
“Roar.” (It has nothing to do with me.)
The Gluttonous Beast curled its lip, a trace of flame still lingering at the corner of its mouth.
“Buzz!”
At that moment, as an invisible fluctuation passed by, Daphne instinctively stood up, her expression turning gravely serious.
The Gluttonous Beast guiltily turned its head away.
“Mew!” (There’s big trouble!)
Daphne’s ears twitched slightly as her gaze shifted toward David Jones.
At the sound, the Gluttonous Beast was taken aback.
Was it necessary to disturb David Jones’s cultivation over a sneakily eaten Ashes Divine Flame, for such a trivial matter?
“What’s happened?” David Jones opened his eyes, asking telepathically.
“Mew, mew!” (A Demon God has emerged, and it’s an old adversary!)
Daphne looked toward the south.
Despite the great distance, the overwhelming demonic aura coming from that direction did not escape her senses.
The Gluttonous Beast’s expression changed slightly as it looked toward David Jones.
“Roar.” (There’s a call from the Federation of Trainer Guilds.)
“Answer it.”
As David Jones finished speaking, the hologram of President Will immediately appeared on the virtual screen.
“President Will, is there a problem with the seal of Mother Scarlet?” David Jones took the initiative to speak.
“Correct, the Demon God has broken free from the seal, and the Evergreen Island Beast-Taming Base is completely overrun, the disaster is now out of control,” President Will spoke gravely: “Alone, I struggle to seal Mother Scarlet. How are things on your end?”
“I’m at the final step of wrapping things up…” David Jones said.
Upon hearing this, President Will’s face showed disappointment.
He was still one step too late.
Knowing that an Immortal could not withstand a Demon God, only a Sacred Beast endowed with the power of a nation’s fate could possibly restrain the Demon God.
If the Heavenly Black Tortoise hadn’t been stripped of its Power of Positional Grading, the task of resealing Mother Scarlet by the East Emperor Dynasty would have been much easier.
One must remember, Mother Scarlet was one of the main culprits behind the downfall of the Origin Dynasty, her strength terrifying to the extreme.
Even leveraging the power of the Kylin Saint Spirit and the Heavy Water Lobster, President Will only had a forty percent certainty of sealing Mother Scarlet.
That was even considering Mother Scarlet had just broken the seal and her strength was not what it once was.
With these thoughts, President Will took a deep breath and looked earnestly at David Jones.
“I’m currently en route to Evergreen Island, preparing to seal Mother Scarlet. I hope you can stand by to back me up, to prevent any mishaps.”
“I can do that,” David Jones nodded without hesitation.
“Thank you.”
President Will bowed as a sign of respect, then hung up the phone because he had a tough battle ahead.
“Roar?” (What about Rainbow and the others?)
The Gluttonous Beast glanced at the arcane force storm in the distance.
Immortal Tide was a rare opportunity, and it would be a pity if Leader and the others missed it.
“Rainbow and the others will stay here, the four of us will go over,” David Jones said.
The many beasts in the Plough sea area were not fools. After several purges, they had learned their lesson and would not foolishly rush to their deaths for the Immortal Tide.
In such a situation, leaving Star Frog behind was entirely capable of guarding the safety of Rainbow, Loona, Goldy, and Lolo.
“Ribbit.”
Star Frog patted its round belly, signifying that it would take care of everything here.
…
“Drip, drip, drip.”
Drops of fresh blood fell before Staley Roland’s eyes.
Ignoring the intense pain from his brain, his body stiffened as he looked up.
“Roar.” (I’m okay.)
Fiend Cinnabar grabbed its twisted left arm and yanked it off to prevent the Trainer and itself from being eroded by Mother Scarlet’s blood.
But because of this, Fiend Cinnabar was forced to exit the Beast Coordination stance, and its aura rapidly plummeted.
Boom, boom, boom!
Mother Scarlet slowly moved forward, not even glancing at Fiend Cinnabar and Staley Roland who were blocking the way.
To the eyes of humanity, a Heavenly Beastmaster was extremely powerful, but to Mother Scarlet’s senses, they were nothing more than slightly stronger ants.
Nevertheless, a mosquito’s meat is still meat. To replenish its strength as quickly as possible, Mother Scarlet didn’t disdain to raise a towering Blood Sea, intending to destroy and devour everything on Evergreen Island, turning it into a part of the Crimson Blood Sea.
“Is this where it ends!”
Staley Roland knelt on the ground, his eyes showing neither despair nor regret, only acceptance.
He was human, not a deity. Even if he exhausted all his strength, he could only block Mother Scarlet for a quarter of an hour at the cost of his lifespan.
“Run, Salt.” Staley Roland’s Star Ring flashed a faint light, summoning seven Pet Beasts of different forms. “Hurry and take Joan, Bo and the others away. Leave this place to me.”
Fiend Cinnabar looked down at Staley Roland and advanced instead of retreating, emitting a thunderous roar towards Mother Scarlet.
“Fool.”
“You’re all fools.”
Watching the eight figures standing in front of him, Staley Roland laughed.
Death was not the end, and dying with his Contracted Pet Beasts might not be such a bad thing after all.
With that thought, Staley Roland, drained of arcane force, closed his eyes, giving up the struggle.
However, just as the Blood Sea was about to engulf Staley Roland and the favorite pets, a massive Dragon Shadow suddenly cut through space, standing in front of Fiend Cinnabar.
Boom!
The Blood Sea that should have engulfed everything halted as if it had met an unyielding wall.
“Roar!” (This is the defense of the strongest dragon!)
The Gluttonous Beast spread its wings, standing tall and proud, with blood dripping from the tips of its Dragon Wings, adding a touch of demonic nature to its presence.
“Senior Rong, are you okay?” David Jones looked around and asked.
He seemed to have arrived ahead of President Will, although both had used Instant Teleportation to get there.
“Cough cough, I’m fine, thankfully you were on time,” Staley Roland said, his resolve of death vanishing instantly.
If David Jones could once repel the Demon God that had invaded the Wyvern Empire, he could certainly seal Mother Scarlet now.
If even the first among the World Beast-Tamers couldn’t suppress Mother Scarlet, then the East Emperor Dynasty deserved to perish.
David Jones nodded, shifting his gaze back to Mother Scarlet.
Years had passed, and Mother Scarlet’s aura remained terrifyingly formidable, its mere presence enough to corrupt Kingly Beast Tamers, reminding David Jones of his own former weakness.
“But now it’s different,” David Jones declared, locking eyes with Mother Scarlet, battle intent surging in his gaze.
