The Strongest Doctor
Chapter 29 - 29 31 White Fox

29: Chapter 31 White Fox 29: Chapter 31 White Fox Li Xiaoqiang headed for the back mountain of Gancha Town, plunging headfirst into the jungle.

The putrid stench of rotting leaves assaulted him, mingled with the feces of wild animals, a word as mild as ‘disgusting’ wasn’t enough to describe the stench.

The gloomy pines loomed like mushroom clouds, blocking out the sunlight while the incessant chirping of insects filled the air.

After entering the forest, Li Xiaoqiang’s whole being tensed up.

His eyes narrowed to slits, hawk-like, extra vigilant to his surrounding environment.

In this enchanted wild mountain, Li Xiaoqiang wasn’t as carefree as a spore coming and going.

A moment’s inattention could mean his death.

“Boom!”

A powerful voice erupted as if from the depths of hell, and Li Xiaoqiang’s body arched like a starving wolf.

He quickly climbed up a large tree.

Li Xiaoqiang looked in the direction of the sound.

The bushes there shook as if a peerless beast was about to burst forth from the earth.

He carefully moved in that direction.

During this process, he felt the air around him tighten, a chill creeping into every cell of his body.

This instinctual reaction at the brink of crisis was his habitual state from years of navigating this mysterious forest.

Ten minutes later, Li Xiaoqiang finally witnessed a shocking scene—a tiger, at least six meters in length, was in front of him, which he hesitated to even call a tiger as it had a pair of ram horns on its head.

The beast’s body was covered in red stripes, each strand of hair seemed foraged by molten metal, reflecting a blinding light under the sun.

Especially those teeth, sharp as steel picks, shimmered with a cold light.

He stared at the giant man wielding an axe, drool dripping from both their mouths.

Seeing such a scene left Li Xiaoqiang somewhat speechless.

The giant suddenly grinned foolishly, lifted his giant axe, and charged towards the beast at a speed that completely surpassed human comprehension.

To Li Xiaoqiang’s eyes, only a series of phantoms were visible, which were much more incredible than the scenes from those martial arts novels, resembling computer-generated special effects.

When the beast saw the giant charging toward him, recalling the wound on his back, its fist-sized eyes emitted a burst of blood-red light.

The muscles in its legs tensed like rocks, and it leaped towards the giant like an arrow freed from its bow.

In the blink of an eye, they collided mid-air, the giant’s axe swinging horizontally, nearly striking the beast’s stomach.

Yet, the very wise beast spun its body in mid-air, narrowly avoiding the axe’s fatal blow.

However, at this moment, the giant grinned even more foolishly, his row of white teeth seemingly mocking the beast’s naiveté.

The giant spun his body mid-air and suddenly punched, his fist driving a whistling wind, hitting directly on the beast’s stomach.

The beast cried out in pain, a sound mournful and melodious, still echoing in the air when its body shot out, breaking through two large trees in succession.

It was hard to imagine the strength of the giant’s fist.

The moment the beast was thrown out, the giant’s form immediately followed.

As soon as the beast landed, a crisp cracking sound echoed.

A series of blood spurted out like fireworks.

At that moment, the giant chuckled foolishly, “Hehe, little guy!”

After saying that, the giant turned his head towards the direction where Li Xiaoqiang was hiding, grinning non-stop.

Seeing this, Li Xiaoqiang really felt like jumping down and beating this big fool to a pulp.

Was this supposed to be cute?

“Damn!”

Li Xiaoqiang stepped out of the forest and said sternly, “Stop laughing!”

Giant Axe immediately shut his mouth and stopped laughing, as if he knew Li Xiaoqiang was about to tell him to wipe his drool.

He quickly extended his hand and wiped it off, his naive expression fixing on Li Xiaoqiang, as if he were a soldier awaiting commands from his general.

Next, Giant Axe began dissecting the fierce beast.

The skilled method revealed he was an old hand.

Once Giant Axe finished, the two prepared to turn around and leave.

But at that moment, a chilling breeze struck from behind them.

This wind, as cold as ice, made Li Xiaoqiang shiver all over.

Giant Axe quickly turned around; his naive expression completely vanished, leaving behind a look Li Xiaoqiang had never seen before—serious, alert.

Giant Axe tightly gripped his giant axe, staring into the depths of the forest’s darkness, where it seemed a venomous snake was hiding.

Li Xiaoqiang frowned and asked, “Spore, what is it?”

Giant Axe’s low voice responded, “It seems to be that fox.”

Upon hearing this, Li Xiaoqiang’s brows furrowed deeply.

A fox that could severely injure Giant Axe was surely no ordinary creature.

The two stared intensely into the forest depths.

As time ticked by, Li Xiaoqiang felt he could hear every leaf fall, every earthworm burrow through the soil.

Gradually, cold sweat appeared on Li Xiaoqiang’s forehead and his spine turned icy.

He turned to look at Giant Axe and was surprised to find Spore just as tense.

What could possibly make Giant Axe so nervous about this fox?

Li Xiaoqiang’s curiosity about the fox grew heavier.

Li Xiaoqiang felt as if a hundred years had passed—no, perhaps even longer.

A fox with snow-white fur emerged from the depths of the mountains, astonishingly sporting three tails, which spread like the plumage of a peacock, beautiful and flawlessly white.

This fox was far cuter than the expensive pets in the city, its eyes sparkling.

Li Xiaoqiang stared at the White Fox and asked, “Is it this one that caused your severe injuries?”

Seeing the White Fox, Giant Axe became extremely tense and quickly stepped in front of Li Xiaoqiang, nodding, “Yes, it’s this one!”

While Li Xiaoqiang was wondering how the White Fox had managed to severely injure Giant Axe,

a woman’s voice sounded, “You dare to enter the forest again?

You’re really seeking death.”

Li Xiaoqiang hurriedly looked around.

There was no one.

Whose voice was that just now?

Li Xiaoqiang seemed to suddenly remember something, rapidly turned towards the White Fox, and showed an incredulous expression, choking out, “Could it be…

Could it be you talking?”

“Hee hee,” a clear, lively voice responded, cute with a hint of mischief, “You, this human, are not bad, much better-looking than that ugly man.”

Li Xiaoqiang, shocked, just stood there in astonishment.

A fox that can talk?

Li Xiaoqiang felt he was about to break down.

The secular novels talk about mortals, immortals, and monsters.

Could it really be so?

Unconsciously, sweat appeared on Li Xiaoqiang’s forehead.

He choked out, “What exactly are you?”

The White Fox’s clear voice responded, “Of course I’m a fox.

Anyway, I look pretty good when I transform into a human, hee hee, you better watch carefully, I’m about to transform.”
