Chapter 58: Conversation with the Queen
Ian smirked. "Why not? I’m the king of the Blood Realm; even the Grand Elder has to cater to my needs. Of course, I’m not acting entitled or something. I’ve gained this right through my strength."
Natasha smiled at Ian’s words. "Well, that just means it’s the fruits of your labor. Am I right?"
"If that’s the case. I’ll have to owe you a favor." Anisha curled up her lips.
For the powerful king in front of her, although she doesn’t show it on the surface, she knew not to offend her. As the queen of an entire race that belongs to the top 20, she had to set an example and always pretend to be strong on the outside. Every move of hers is watched by her subject.
In the past few years, since Ian had used their forest for seclusion, the spike of aura every once in a while made her feel death was staring her straight in the face. The terrifying sense of oppression sent a shiver down her spine.
It was that time, unbeknownst to her, that Ian had transformed in his Ultimate Nine Paths 1, which knocked those with weaker Dark Elves just by Ian’s aura. The Queen and the Rose Black squad under her barely managed to stay conscious. More importantly, Ian was in the center of the forest, far from them!
This brought a shadow to everyone’s heart. Why is the king of the vampires so strong!? When did they have such a strong powerhouse!? They knew at that time that the vampire race was about to race.
Who was the first to bear the brunt of their rise? The werewolf race are fucked!
The Queen secretly gave a verdict to all. Establish a good relationship with the vampire race and treat Ian as the most important guest whenever in their territory.
"You owe me a favor?"
Ian shook his head. He didn’t need a damn favor of anyone. "I don’t need that. How about this... Just give me permanent access to your forest and the Fountain of Solitude, and I’ll allow five people from your race to access the Blood Chamber every year. How about that?"
"Sounds good!" Natasha’s eyes lit up as she chimed in.
Anisha smiled at the proposal. ’He’s quite generous. This king seems to be different than others. My decision turned out to be correct. His character is worth befriending.’ As she thought of this, it prompted her to say: "Deal!"
"I like talking with a smart woman." Ian chuckled.
The queen also smiled in response. "You got a glib tongue."
"Can I spar with you? I really want to test my strength."
Ian said.
"Have you not had enough defeating my elite subject for the past few years?"
"They can’t even force me to use 1% of my base form. Not to mention my two transformations."
Hearing this, Anisha and Natasha’s mouths twitched. Ian had beaten every elite Dark Elf into a pulp to the ground!
Even Tier 6 spells, the strongest spell the elites could cast, couldn’t scratch Ian. This made them despair at the gap in strength.
"What base form?" Natasha asked curiously, which made the queen perk up her ears as well.
Ian had a dissatisfied eye. "Base form is simply my basic strength. Don’t feel down, I think I can destroy half of a planet in my base form, and I’m being modest by that. Not to mention, my transformations?"
’Destroy half of a planet? Isn’t that almost on par with the SSS-rank human hunter? And he still has transformations? Just how terrifying is his true strength!?’ Queen Anisha’s lips quivered imperceptibly.
Even her most proud tier 5 spell and tier 4 dark magic, she wasn’t sure that she could even destroy a continent. In the past, at most, her tier 4 spell had razed an entire city to the ground, and that’s already destructive in her opinion.
"I’m afraid I cannot agree to your request. It would cause so much destruction and unnecessary casualties. Not to mention, that outcome is obvious. I’ll just lose."
Ian couldn’t help but look at the Queen in surprise, and he began to see her in a new light. ’Shouldn’t you be more prideful?’
"Well, that’s a pity then. You’re right, a battle between us might reduce your territory to ashes even if we deliberately control our output. Honestly, I’m also not sure if I’ll be able to control my powers precisely."
Ian had trained for a hundred years to master the power of the Ultimate Nine Paths and pushed it to the limits. But energy control? He hasn’t delved into that kind of training yet. Now, he plans to add it to his next training arc.
He had come to realize the importance of precise energy control. At his level, even his base form had almost reached the point of planetary devastation. If he wants to minimize environmental damage, he needs to have complete control over his energy!
Ian doesn’t want to accidentally destroy the entire Curtained Imperium or even the Human World in the future once he fights beings as powerful as him.
"That’s good..."
Natasha and Anisha looked at each other’s eyes in relief. If Ian didn’t agree just now. No one could really stop him, right?
Just like that, Ian bid his farewell to them. The harvest this time is quite fruitful!
...
"He’s out. That man his power level is quite terrifying. This time, shit is about to go down for the Werewolf Race." Natasha wiped the sweat on her forehead. The pressure Ian gave them just by being in his presence weighed heavily on her.
"Mind your language, Natasha." The Queen snorted. "A great change is about to come. Maybe the Curtained Imperium is about to be unified under the rule of one person."
Hearing this, Natasha couldn’t help but clench her fist. "Do we go with the flow or against?"
"If we want to survive. We just need to let this incoming turbulence pass. Going against that man? It’ll only spell destruction."
"Indeed, I hope he destroys those arrogant pricks at the top. The ranking of top races is about to change. The vampire race might dethrone the Devils, Lich, and Demons."
