Gu Qili stopped in front of the trellis for a while and noticed two bees collecting nectar. She found it interesting and bent over curiously to observe. He half listened and half zoned out, his gaze persistently glued to her. She wore a light yellow V-neck short-sleeve today, with a pair of washed-out denim jeans below, her hair tied up in a simple ponytail, standing refreshingly in the midst of the flowers, not looking out of place at all.

"Gu Qili, what are you hiding here for?" The sudden emergence of a shadow behind her startled her, followed by a hand patting her shoulder heavily, almost slapping her into the ground.

Gu Qili’s arm trembled and brushed against the flowers in front of her, disturbing the bees on them.

Seeing her pained expression, Mu Fan immediately became anxious, grabbed her hand without thinking, and sucked hard on her finger twice.

Gu Qili regained her senses then hastily pulled her hand away, glaring at him fiercely, "Are you dumb? It’s not a snake bite, what’s the use of sucking with your mouth?"

Mu Fan chuckled with his eyes curving, "You’re the dumb one, I just wanted to taste the fresh honey."

"Lunatic." Gu Qili no longer paid him any attention, carefully examined the place where she had been stung by the bee, thankfully the stinger wasn’t left inside, but it was quite painful. She rubbed it with her hand, and that just made it swell and turn red.

"Shuoqian, your wife is flirting with your little brother-in-law again, aren’t you going to do something?" Qi Meihui happened to come downstairs and saw this scene.
